Asthma,a chronic inflammatory airway disease,is influenced by both genetic and environmental factors.It is a complex disease that involves the interplay among multiple physiological processes.Currently,it has been identified that 17q21 loci genes especially orosomucoid like 3 (ORMDL3) and gasdermin B (GSMDB) are strongly linked with the susceptibility and severity of childhood asthma by using of the Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS).Furthermore,a better understanding of the molecular mechanism contributes to the asthma target therapeutics and precision medicine.This review summarizes the 17q21 loci genes associated with the susceptibility,severity,and race specificities of childhood asthma.
2.Assessment of Right Cardiac function in children with various course of bronchial asthma

Objective To explore the cardiac function of right ventricles in children with various course of bronchial asthma. Methods The cardiac function was evaluated by using the Doppler echocardiography in 36 chil-dren with course > 1 year bronchial asthma in remission stage and 38 children with course ≤ 1 year bronchial asthma in remission stage. 40 healthy children were used as normal controls. After treatment, 10 children with course > 1 year were evaluated again. Results The injury of right ventricle systolic function was predominant in children with > 1 year bronchial asthma, The systolic function of right ventricle remained normal in children with ≤ 1 year bronchi-al asthma. Conclusion The cardiac function damage occurs in children with > 1 year bronchial asthma and will be recoveied by cure the astham. The Doppler echocardiography is noninvasive method for determination of cardiac func-tion.
3.Safety of Pretreatment Protocols of Paclitaxel Liposome

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the safety of several pretreatment protocols of paclitaxel liposome as a chemotherapy for upper gastrointestinal tumor.METHODS:26 patients with upper gastrointestinal tumors receiving paclitaxel liposome in combination with other chemotherapeutics were enrolled.The patients were injected intravenously with dexamethasone 10 mg (i ) or dexamethasone 5 mg(ii ) or prednisolone 40 mg(iii ) 30 minutes prior administration of paclitaxel liposome,or treated with oral dexamethasone at a dose of 6 mg(i ),4.5 mg(ii ) or 2.25 mg(iii ) 12 hours or 2 hours prior administration of paclitaxel liposome.RESULTS:Chemotherapy- induced toxic adverse reactions manifested as gradeⅠ~Ⅱleucopenia,anemia, nausea and vomiting,but recovered after symptomatic treatment.Pretreatment- related adverse reactions manifested as insomnia, hyperglycemia,fatigue and vertigo,but no allergic shock or treatment- related death occurred.CONCLUSION:Intravenous injection of prednisolone 40 mg 30 minutes prior administration of paclitaxel liposome or oral administration of dexamethasone 2.25 mg 12 hours and 2 hours prior administration of paclitaxel liposome are preferable pretreatment methods of paclitaxel liposome.

5.A P-wave detection method based on multi-feature.

Generally, P-wave is the wave of low-frequency and low-amplitude, and it could be affected by baseline drift, electromyography (EMG) interference and other noises easily. Not every heart beat contains the P-wave, and it is also a major problem to determine the P-wave exist or not in a heart beat. In order to solve the limitation of suiting the diverse morphological P-wave using wavelet-amplitude-transform algorithm and the limitation of selecting the pseudo-P-wave sample using the wavelet transform and neural network, we presented new P-wave detecting method based on wave-amplitude threshold and using the multi-feature as the input of neural networks. Firstly, we removed the noise of ECG through the wavelet transform, then determined the position of the candidate P-wave by calculating modulus maxima of the wavelet transform, and then determine the P-wave exist or not by wave-amplitude threshold method initially. Finally we determined whether the P-wave existed or not by the neural networks. The method is validated based on the QT database which is supplied with manual labels made by physicians. We compared the detection effect of ECG P-waves, which was obtained with the method developed in the study, with the algorithm of wavelet threshold value and the method based on "wavelet-amplitude-slope", and verified the feasibility of the proposed algorithm. The detected ECG signal, which is recorded in the hospital ECG division, was consistent with the doctor's labels. Furthermore, after detecting the 13 sets of ECG which were 15 min long, the detection rate for the correct P-wave is 99.911%.

6.Measurement method of arterial shear stress of rats model based on ultrasonic particle imaging velocimetry.

The development and progression of atherosclerosis and thrombosis are closely related to changes of hemodynamics parameters. Ultrasonic pulse wave Doppler technique is normally used for noninvasively blood flow imaging. However, this technique only provides one-dimensional velocity and depends on the angle between the ultrasound beam and the local velocity vector. In this study, ultrasonic particle image velocimetry method was used to assess whole field hemodynamic changes in normal blood vessels. By using the polynomial fitting method, we investigated the velocity gradient and assessed the shear in different blood flow velocity of 10 healthy rats. It was found that using four polynomial fitting could result in optimal measurement results. The results obtained by ultrasonic particle image velocimetry accorded with the results obtained using Doppler technique. The statistical average of cyclical vessel wall shear stress was positively related to the locational mean velocity. It is proven that ultrasonic particle image velocimetry method could be used to assess directly the real-time whole field hemodynamic changes in blood vessels and was non-invasively, and should be a good prosperous technique for monitoring complex blood flow in stenotic ar- teries.

7.The myocardial apoptosis induced by myocardial cell injury in female rat model with hypothyroidism

Objective To study the effect of estrogen on myocardial injury in hypothyroidism rats and to reveal the pathology of occurrence and development of the myocardial injury in hypothyroidism rats.Methods The model of hypothyroidism rats was established by feeding propylthiouracil.The pathology of the female group ( n =40 ) and male group ( n =40 ) was observed dynamicly.The presence of myocardial apoptosis cell was demonstrated by the method of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dTUP nick end labeling (TUNEL).And the immunohistochemistry was used to determine the expression of Caspase-3 and Bcl-2 in the myocardial cells.Results The myocardial cell apoptosis appeared in hypothyroidism rats.With the development of the disease,the apoptosis myocardial cell was increased progressively (Female rats group:the numbers of myocardial cell apoptosis at 3,6,8,10,and 12 weeks were 16.40 ± 2.62,29.50 ± 2.67,34.50 ± 3.34,42.70 ±3.24,and 56.00 ± 2.90 respectively,P < 0.05 ; Male rats group:the numbers of myocardial cell apoptosis at 3,6,8,10,and 12 week were 21.60 ± 2.67,35.50 ± 2.94,41.70 ± 2.96,46.70 ± 3.11,and 60.70 ± 3.31respectively,P < 0.05 ),which indicated that estrogen may be related to myocardial cell apoptosis.Conclusion The myocardial cell apoptosis is related with the myocardial injury in hypothyroidism rats.Myocardial cell apoptosis may result in the myocardial injury.The estrogen participates in regulating apoptosis,but its function gradually weakens with the development of the hypothyroidism.
8.Optimization of the honey-fried processing for Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae by orthogonal design

AIM:To choose the optimal processing condition for stir-frying Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae with honey.METHODS:The contents of glycyrrhizic acid and liquiritin and macroscopical identification were selected as indexes according to orthogonal design L_9(3~4),four factors including the proportion of processed honey and water,soaking moistening time,drying temperature,and drying time.RESULTS:Optional processing conditions consisted of using two part processed honey to one part water as mixture,30 min soaring moistening time,oven temperature rose to 130 ℃ and keeping for 20 min.CONCLUSION:The above processing can make the contents of glycyrrhizic acid liquiritin maintaining more 2.33%(RSD 0.43%)and 0.9%(RSD 1.10%),the optimal honey-fried processing technology for Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae is reasonable.
9.Study on the effective teaching of medical immunology

To improve the quality of teaching is the core task of the development of higher education,and effective teaching is the fundamental guarantee to promote students to learn effectively,and to improve the teaching quality and talents cultivation quality,which has very important significance to exploring the effective teaching idea and implementation strategy.In the teaching of medical immunology for example,the author combined the characteristics of the course,and had a preliminary discussion on the feature of effective teaching,to explore the effective teaching strategies of thought guiding before class,creating context in class,autonomous learning at recess,teaching reflection after class,to provide reference for college teachers to improve teaching ability and teaching effectiveness.
10.An analysis of serum levels of cytokines and relative factors in depression patients

Objective To explore the serum levels of cytokines in patients with depression and their correlations with sex,age,depression severity and anxiety severity.Methods After enrolling subjects into the corresponding patient group and control group,the same trained researcher should continue to collect general information of the enrolled subjects as well as the HAMA and HAMD scoring results collection and assessment;And the serum levels of interlukin-1β (IL-1β),interlukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were detected with the method of enzyme-linked Immuno-sorbent assay (ELISA) in two groups.Results ① The serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α of depression group were significantly higher than these in control group (P<0.05),which were ((5.45±3.60) pg/ml vs(2.63± 1.92) pg/ml,(5.09±3.74) pg/ml vs (3.83±2.71) pg/ml,(5.77±3.94) pg/ml vs (4.05±3.25) pg/ml) respectively.②There was no significant difference in serum levels of IL-1 β,IL-6 and TNF-α between male and female patients with depression (P>0.05).③ No conspicuous differences were found between the young group and the middle-aged group in serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α (P>0.05).④ Serum level of IL-6 in major depressive disorder group((6.24±4.68) pg/ml) was more higher than that in mild to moderate depression group((3.95± 1.97)pg/ml),and the difference was statistically significant (t=2.467,P<0.05).⑤There was significant differences in serum level of IL-6 between two groups,which were depression patients with and without anxiety (separately(5.80±4.37) pg/ml vs(3.87±1.80) pg/ml) (t=2.397,P<0.05).Conclusions ①There is a phenomenon of immune activation,and levels of blood cytokines are raised in patients with depression.②Age and gender have no impact on depression in the level of cytokines.③IL-6 may be an important biological index that reflected the severity of depression and anxiety.
