Medicinal plants of the Fructus Amomi containing three species (A momum villosum, A momum longiligu-lare, Amomum villosum var. xanthioides)are well-known, which are widely used as traditional medicines. The mor-phological characteristics of the three origins are very similar, especially in the form of seed. In this study, 60 sam-ples of Fructus Amomi were co llected, and 34 sequences of the Fructus Amomi and their adulterants from GenBank were analyzed. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were detected. All the ITS2 sequences here (including our ex-periments and GenBank data)were examined for SNPs at the interspecies level. Results from the study revealed that two stable bases at position 135 bp and 199 bp were found, which could be used as a unique marker to distinguish the three origins of Fructus Amomi. The two SNPs in the ITS2 were found to exist stably between the three species, and all the GenBank sequences of the Fructus Amomi. Our findings indicated that SNP-based DNA barcoding could be used as an efficient method for the rapid and accurate identification of the three origins of Fructus Amomi.

In order to verify the sstability and accuracy of DNA barcode technique, we chose Rosa laevigata Michx as study object. Genomic DNAs of 10 samples were extracted by modified CTAB method. ITS2 sequences were obtained by direct PCR sequencing; the other 6 sequences were obtained from GenBank. The sequences were assembled using the CodonCode Aligner. All of the 16 ITS2 sequences were aligned through Clustal-W and the genetic distances were computed using MEGA 5.0 in accordance with the Kimura 2-parameter (K-2-P) model. Results indicated that the lengths of ITS2 regions of R. laevigata ranged from 219 to 221 bp with two Poly C structure in it. The intra-specific genetic distances were smaller than inter-specific ones in ITS2 regions of R. laevigata. The NJ tree showed that R. laevigata and adulterants were divided into two clades, with 99%bootstrap value, showing good monophyly. So, ITS2 was considered a good marker to identify R. laevigata and its adulterants.

Objective To research the resilience and related factors of the rescue soldiers. Methods Resilience Scale for Adults( RSA ), Self-report Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ) and Coping Style Questionnaire were applied in this survey to 1401 rescue soldiers. Results ①The soldiers' resilience score was (2.49±0.57) ,significantly lower than college students( t= 16.619, P=0. 000).The rescue soldiers with the year in army above 3 were significantly higher than that below 2 years in social competence( t=2.581, P=0.01 ) ,social resources( t=2. 158, P=0.031 ) ,structured style( t=3.254, P=0.001 ) and RSA scores(t=2.455, P=0.014). There exist significantly differences in various education level of the rescue soldiers in perception of self(t=3.732, P=0.024), planned of future ( t = 9.324, P = 0.000 ) , social competence ( t = 8. 838, P = 0.000 ), social resources ( t = 13. 660, P = 0. 000 ) and RSA scores (t=9.805, P=0.000) , and college ≥ senior high school ≥ junior high school. ②Compared to the lower group in the RSA, the higher group scored significantly higher in extraversion (t=16. 204, P=0.000) and positive coping( t = - 18. 171, P=0.000), while lower in SCL-90 (t=8.461, P=0.000) and neuroticism (t=8.833, P=0.000 ).③Resilience have the obvious positive correlation with the education ( r= 0. 116 ), extraversion ( r= 0. 463 ) and positive coping(r=0.500) ,and negative correlation with the neuroticism(r=-0.251 ) and SCL-90( r= -0.260). It can be assumed that positive coping,extraversion and neuroticism had good predictive ability(35.9％) to resilience. Conclusion The rescue soldiers have low resilience than college students, positive coping, extraversion, and neuroticism are important psychological factors for rescue soldiers.

This paper is to explore changes of intestinal mucosal barrier, intestinal flora, and bacterial translocation in rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP). Twenty four male SD rats were randomly divided into the control group (n = 10) and the experimental group (n = 14). The model of severe acute pancreatitis of rats was induced by the method of injecting adversely 5% sodium taurocholate into the common biliary-pancreatic duct. All of the rats were killed after 24 hours and the level of the serum amylase and the plasma endotoxin was determined after that. The pathological changes of pancreas and small intestine were observed through hematoxylin-eosin staining (HE staining) and the abdominal viscera bacterial translocation rates were tested. With the method of real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) the quantity of the intestinal flora was analyzed. In the control group, the level of Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium were 2.08 ± 1.29, 11.04 ± 7.55 and 12.21 ± 4.95, respectively. On the contrast, the level of Escherichia coli in the cecum contents was much higher (9.72 ± 3.58, P < 0.01), while the Lactobacillus number was decreased significantly (0.67 ± 0.34, P < 0.01), and the Bifidobacterium number was also decreased (4.59 ± 3.42, P < 0.05) in the experimental group, so the ratio of Bifidobacterium/Escherichia coli was reversed. Besides, in the experimental group, the plasma endotoxin positive rates and the bacterial translocation rates were much higher (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05) and the pathology scores of pancreas and small intestines were also significantly higher (P < 0.01) than those in the control group. These results indicated that in severe acute pancreatitis rats, the intestinal mucosal barrier was severely damaged and the dysbacteriosis occurs in the intestinal canal. And these might relate to the occurrence and development of multiple organ infection.

Objective To conduct eugenics inspections for preparing pregnant couples,to find out risk factors causing fetal birth defects,to provide the scientific basis of eugenic and superior nurture.Methods A total of 2 1 63 preparing pregnant couples were conducted eugenics detection before childbirth to assess pregnant risk.Results A total of 1 547 cases were checked out with preg-nancy risk with the positive rate as 35.76%(1 547/4 326).Among them,the positive rate of male was 26.81% (580/2 1 63).the positive rate of women was 44.71% (967/2 1 63).Women positive rate was significantly higher than the male.Conclusion The eu-genics detection before pregnant could found risk of pregnancy as soon as possible,in order to take corresponding preventive meas-ures in time,has important significance for prevention of birth defects.

Objective To investigate the pathogen distribution and risk factors of pulmonary infection after acute cervical spinal cord injury (ACSCI) in an attempt to offer reference for early antiinfection therapy.Methods The study comprised 223 cases who were admitted from October 2011 to October 2014.There were 149 males and 74 females,at (43.3 ± 13.5) years of age.Species of pathogens identified were gram-positive,gram-negative and mixed.Effects of age,gender,injury types and tracheotomy on pathogen distribution were analyzed.Results Gram-negative infection was found in 114 cases (51.1％),with tracheotomy accounting for 7.0％ of the cases and death accounting for 1.8％ of the cases,and the main causative pathogens were Klebsiella pneumonia,Escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii.Gram-positive infection was found in 41 cases (18.4％),with tracheotomy accounting for 12.2％ of the cases and death accounting for 7.3％ of the cases,and the main causative pathogens were Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumonia.Mixed infection was found in 68 cases (30.5％),with tracheotomy accounting for 22.1％ of the cases and death accounting for 13.2％ of the cases.Gender had no significant correlation with pathogen distribution.For the cases of complete spinal cord injury and tracheotomy,the ratio of mixed infection increased significantly (P ＜ 0.05).For the cases younger than 30 years,the pathogens were mainly gram-positive bacteria (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Main pathogens of pulmonary infection after ACSCI are gram-negative bacteria.The cases younger than 30 years are associated with higher risk of grampositive infection,while the cases with complete injury or tracheotomy are associated with higher risk of mixed infection.

Objective To investigate the application of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke in different risk groups,and to identify the factors influencing the comphcance of statins.Me.ods Ischemic stroke patients from December 2011 to October 2012 were collected.All clinical characterisitcs and possible factors influencing the compliance of statins was recorded in 3 months.The multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the compliance of statins.Results All 368 patients were collected,and 67.9％(250/368) patients were prescribed statins for therapy during hospitalization.The application rate of statins in accordance with guidelines in high-risk,extremely high-risk Ⅱ and extremely high-risk Ⅰ patients was 28.1％ (18/64),44.1％ (30/68) and 72.3％ (136/188),respectively.Logistic regression analysis showed that the statins application during hospitalization was associated with the presence of carotid vulnerable plaques (OR =5.308,P =0.000) and diabetes history (OR =1.789,P =0.032).Routine discharge instructions had high compliance.Conclusion The compliance of statins in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke still has a large gap between clinical practice and guidelines,and routine discharge instructions on statins application increase the compliance of statins.

Objective To explore the application of domestic bladder capacity scanner in intermittent catheterization in patients with neurogenic bladder. Methods 40 patients with neurogenic bladder accepted intermittent catheterization. Their bladder volume was tested with domestic and imported bladder capacity scanner (Padscan and Bladderscan) and catheterization respectively. Results The bladder volume was (262.592±6.3012) ml tested by Padscan, and was (262.570±6.3006) ml by Bladderscan (P>0.05). The bladder volume tested by bladder catheterization was (245.549±6.0511) ml, which was significantly lower than the other methods (P<0.001), but the D-value was just 17 ml. Conclusion The accuracy of bladder volume tested by domestic bladder capacity scanner (Padscan) was very similar with the imported one (Bladderscan), and the difference between them and the volume tested by bladder catheterization was meaningless in clinical.

Abstract Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a three dimensional deformity that includes scoliosis in the coronal plane, imbalance in the sagittal plane, and rotation of the vertebral body in the transverse axis without any congenital spinal anomalies or combined neuromuscular and skeletal disorders, and is the most common structural scoliosis in clinical practice. Epidemiological surveys have shown that the prevalence of AIS in China is on the rise and has become another important health problem threatening the health of our youth. Studies have found that exercise therapy shows positive effects on the prevention and treatment of AIS, but the underlying mechanisms are not well understood. This paper reviewed relevant literature through China Knowledge Network (CNKI), Web of Science, PubMed, Elsevier, regarding pathological mechanisms of the occurrence and development of AIS, as well as effectiveness of exercise therapy on AIS and related mechanisms during recent years, to provide reference for the treatment of AIS.

Report of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring may contain a large number of data which is very important for the clinical studies on subjects' blood pressure. Most of the ambulatory blood pressure monitor ing sy stems in use at present are lacking in database managing function, which is very in convenient to the research work. In accordance with the characteristics of BY 960 ambulatory blood pressure monitoring system (produced by Shenzhen NewEra Tech Co., Ltd.), a set of data management program was established. It can automatical ly transfer the ambulatory data to database sets and is confirmed to be a practical tool for the research work.
