5.Diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of fetal hydrocephalus
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;(2):89-92
Fetal hydrocephalus is a kind of congenital malformation, which is characterized by the enlargement of the ventricular system and the obstruction of cerebrospinal fluid. It is not accompanied by a primary brain atrophy, with or without the increase of head circumference.Early diagnosis and early treatment is very important.Without the timely inter-vention,most of the patients will die during the perinatal and infant period, and even the survivors often suffer from cere-bral palsy and mental retardation. However, the long -term prognosis and clinical course of patients with hydrocephalus is not yet fully understood. There is controversy on the factors which influence the long -term outcome, such as the timing of diagnosis of hydrocephalus, the severity of ventricular dilatation, the basic disease and accompanying anomalies. So,should establish comprehensive protocols to avoid and decrease fetal hydrocephalus,as well as pay attention to the clinicopatho-logical research, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal management and early treatment of fetal hydrocephalus.
6.Octreotide for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma:Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(16):28-31
Objective To evaluate the effect of octreotide on the survival of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods Electronic databases searches were conducted.Meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing octreotide versus placebo or no treatment was performed. Results Five RCTs including 579 patients with HCC wers assessed.Meta-analysis of the five studies showed that octreotide had no significant effect on the 6,12 and 24 months survival rates of the patients(6months:OR=1.69,95%CI 0.89-3.21,P=0.11;12 months:OR=2.41,95%CI 0.83-6.93,P=0.10;24months:OR=0.58,95%CI 0.28-1.17,P=0.13).To perform the sensitivity analysis, the blank study, the trial detecting somatostatin receptor expression, the study with short survival or the two trials with short follow-up intervals were excluded, and the results also showed that the octreotide treatment had no significant effect on the 6 and 12 months survival rates.A sensitivity analysis based on two trials indicated that the 24months survival rate of the octreotide group was even lower than that of the control group(OR=0.51,95% CI0.27-0.98,P=0.04).Conclusions This Meta-analysis demonstrates that octreotide could not improve the survival of patients with advanced HCC.The administration of octreotide should not be recommended for the treatment of advaneed HCC.
7.Evaluation of the therapies for neonatal posthaemorrhagic hydrocephalus
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(3):201-205
Although the percentage of preterm infants developing intraventricular haemorrhage (IVH) has been greatly re-duced in the past three decades, increased survival of extremely preterms has meant that severe IVH with subsequent posthae-morrhagic hydrocephalus is still one of the serious unsolved problems for managements of preterms. Therapeutic interventions for posthaemorrhagic hydrocephalus include serial lumbar punctures, repeated aspiration through a ventricular access device, ventriculoperitoneal shunting, drainage, irrigation and fibrinolytic therapy, diuretic therapy treatment to reduce cerebrospinal fluid production, intraventricular fibrinolytic therapy, etc. This review summarizes the current concepts on the pathophysiology, inter-vention indications, and the effectiveness and safety of different interventions of subsequent posthaemorrhagic hydrocephalus.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2009;25(6):904-905
The first molar of youth is often extracted for seriously caries or without long term good effect after therapy because the first molar is often misunderstood as deciduous tooth by parents and therefore it is regarded as unnecessary to treat. For such young patients, the corresponding ipsilateral first molar caries while third molars (or germ) existing with crown well-developed,we can exact the first molar and move the second molar by segmental arch technique. In this way, we can quickly shift the second molar to the desired location, increases the efficiency and reduce both dental movement and period of treatment.

Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 2019;26(9):941-947
Lymphocyte-activation gene 3 (LAG-3), also known as CD223, is a 498-amino-acid type I transmembrane protein encoded by LAG-3 gene, which consists of extracellular, transmembrane and intracellular regions.LAG-3 negatively regulates T lymphocyte by binding extracellular domain to ligand, thus avoiding autoimmunitycaused by T cell over-activation. Like programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4), LAG-3 is an important immune checkpoint in vivo and plays a balanced regulatory role in human immune system.Tumor cells escape the surveillance of the immune system by over-expressing LAG-3 ligand. With the development in research of immune checkpoints, LAG-3 has become a new generation of immunotherapy targets after PD-1 and CTLA-4. This article reviews the structure and function of LAG-3 and the application of its inhibitors in tumor immunotherapy, in order to provide reference for the further study of LAG-3.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(10):-
Objective To summarize the clinical effects of cholecystocholangiostomy (STHG) in the treatment of hepatocholangiolithiasis and hepatic portal bile duct stenosis. Methods The early complications, clinical effects, and functions of gallbladder in a total of 135 patients, admitted since 1994 were for STHG were retrospectively analyzed. Results No early complications were observed after the operation. The contraction and concenration function of the gallblader remained basically normal. The color of gallbladder mucosa was normal, and no edema or erosion was found under choledochoscopy. Conclusions This operation not only maintained the normal physiological functions of the gallbladder and Oddi sphincter, but also the physiological flow of the bile, farthermere it prevented reflux of intestinal juice and reflax chdangitis. Because the anastomotic stoma was large, concentrated bile within the gallbladder could freely get access to the intrahepatic biliary tract, the concentration of bile acid in the intrahepatic bile duct was markedly elevated, so that the solubility of bilirubin crystal, was increased and recurrence of calculus formation eould be retarded. There fore, STHG should be considered to be an optimal operation in dealing with hepatocholangiolithiasis and biliary stenosis.
