Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy combined with transurethral resection of prostate(TURP)for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)with bladder calculus.Methods 68 patients of BPH with bladder calculus treated by ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy combined with transurethral resection of prostate were reviewed.Results Satisfactory effects were achieved in all these 68 cases without serious complications.Conclusion Ureteroscopic pneumatic lithotripsy combined with TURP is a minimally invasive,safe and effective method in the treatment of BPH and bladder calculus.

Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumor for women, and early and accurate diagnosis of the breast diseases may improve the therapy and prognosis. MRI gains advantages in the diagnosis of the breast diseases, and thus is an important tool for the imaging diagnosis of the breast. The examination modes of MRI were introduced for the diagnosis of the breast cancer, especially the application in high risk population. The limit and research progress of MRI were analyzed for breast cancer staging, pre-operative examination, therapeutic effect assessment for radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the relationship between the markers and imaging findings.

Oncolytic adenoviruses have been used in cancer gene therapy because of their ability to selectively transfect and repli-cate in tumor cells. However, systemically administering oncolytic adenoviruses is often inefficient because the host's immunity also at-tacks the viruses. Delivering oncolytic adenoviruses by loading them into mesenchymal stem cells effectively solves this problem. Mes-enchymal stem cells have been described to possess a tumor-homing ability, as well as the capacity to deliver oncolytic adenoviruses. This review discusses the current challenges faced by oncolytic adenovirus delivery via mesenchymal stem cells.

ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of mifepristone with or without tamoxifen in the treatment of leiomyomas. Methods173 symptomatic patients with leiomyomas were divided into 2 groups randomly. Group A (88cases) received mifepristone 25mg per day;Group B(85 cases) received mifepristone per day combined with tamoxifen l0mg twice a day from the first day of menstrul cycle for three months. Leiomyoma and uterine size were measured by B ultrasound, the changes of endometrium were examined pathologically. Estrogen and progesterone levels, hemoglobin and liver renal function were all measured, meanwhile, adverse effects of drugs were assessed. ResultsAll the patients in the 2 groups were amenorrhea with increased hemoglobin, the level of estrogen and progesterone remained in the early stage of proliferation phase. The uterus and leiomyoma sizes in two groups both reduced, but those in group B reduced less significantly(P＜0.01). Adverse effects showed similarity and needed no special control. ConclusionsBoth mifepristone and mifepristone combined with tamoxifen show good efficacy in the treatment of leiomyoma, but mifepristone combined with tamoxifen is more suitable.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the application effect of clinical pathways in hospitalized inguinal hernia patients by using the Meta- analysis. MethodsPublished randomized controlled trials (RCT)in hospitalized inguinal hernia patients were searched and screened in CNKI、VIP、CBMdisc and Wanfang datebase under present standards.The quality of the included studies were evaluated and statistically analyzed by RevMan5.0 software. ResultsTotally 16 literatures including 1649 cases were eligible to the criteria (816 in clinical nursing pathways group and 833 in the traditional health education group)altogether.The Meta-analysis showed there were significant difference between the clinical pathway group and the traditional health education group in grasp of health knowledge,rate of patients,satisfaction degree,length of hospital stay and hospitalization expenses. ConclusionsClinical pathways is superior compared with the traditional health education for hospitalized inguinal hernia patients.

Oncolytic adenoviruses are genetically altered to replicate within tumor cella while exhibiting a high degree of infectivity,good safety and specificity.The use of oncolytic adenoviruses to treat malignant brain tumors has been proved to be a promising mode of cancer therapy.Local injection of adenoviral vectors fails to reach scattered infiltrative tumor cells within the brain parenchyma and the therapeutic effect of intracereberal injections of oncolytic adenoviruses is only seen in the vicinity of the injection site.To remedy this and prevent possible tumor recurrence,stem cells have been explored as vehicles for gene therapy in brain tumors given that they possess an intrinsic tropism for brain glioma.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of fleabanein in treatment of acute cerebral infarction.Methods 42 cases were randomly divided into treatment group(22 cases) and control group(20 cases).Treament group is given iv.fleabanein and compared with control group.Results The cured and effective cases of treatment group is 18 cases,that of control group is 8 cases,there is obvious difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion Fleabanein has better effect on acute cerebral infarction.

Based on the circulation of Chinese materia medica and value chain of quality of Chinese materia medica, this article analyzed the problems existing in the process of protection and development of Chinese materia medica: planting problems caused the efficacy weakening of Chinese materia medica, excessive sulfur because of the initial processing methods, large fluctuations in prices of Chinese materia medica for the market supply and demand imbalance. Then with the modern logistics as the starting point, this article explored the control of the circulation process of Chinese materia medica from the aspects of primary processing, transportation, storage, maintenance, and packaging. Automated initial processing can protect the quality of Chinese materia medica; standardized transportation can reduce the loss of Chinese materia medica; modern warehousing can help management of Chinese materia medica; scientific conservation can maintain the efficacy of Chinese materia medica; standardized packaging can protect Chinese materia medica in the whole course. At the same time, the use of information technology is conducive to the construction of circulation system and traceability system of Chinese materia medica, with a purpose to promote the information system of Chinese materia medica, to protect the authentic Chinese materia medica, to achieve the quality of Chinese materia medica, to enhance the protection and development of Chinese materia medica.

Objective:To generate rabbit anti-human Fc?/?R and Poly Immunoglobulin Receptor(pIgR) polyclonal antibodies.Methods:The EC12 domain of human Fc?/?R and the D1 domain of pIgR were expressed as including bodies in Escherichia coli.The purified proteins were used to immunize rabbits to generate polyclonal antibodies.The immune sera were characterized by ELISA and Western blot analysis,then absorbed with cross-action and purified by antigen linked beads.Results:The titers of antiserum were 1∶6 4000 and 1∶25 6000,separately.There was little cross-reaction between the two immune sera.Conclusion:The polyclonal antibodies against human Fc?/?R and pIgR without cross-reaction were successfully generated and could be useful tools to study the relationship between the two receptors.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the general patterns and characteristics of the adverse drug reactions(ADR) induced by interferon and to provide guidance for its rational use in the clinic.METHODS:A total of 64 ADR cases induced by interferon reported in the domestic medical journals during the period 2000～2006 were collected and analyzed statistically. RESULTS:The ADR induced by interferon was more often seen in patients aged 30～39 years old(35.94%),with male showing higher proportion than female(68.75% vs. 31.25%).ADR more often occurred after multiple dosing and were characteriz-ed predominantly by allergic reactions of immune system in which multiple organs or systems may be involved.CONCLUSION:Interferon should be used rationally based on indications of medication and be closely monitored to prevent and reduce the occurrence of ADR.
