Objective To observe the effects of pregnancy induced hypertension on lipid metabolism and bilirubin metabolism in term neonates.Methods 200 term neonates were selected and divided into the two groups,100 cases whose mother were healthy were control group and another 100 cases whose mother had gestational hypertension were observation group.Birth weight,measured in cord blood triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC) levels,high density lipoprotein (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein (LDL-C),adiponectin (APN) level were recorded.Results Birth weight of the observation group had significantly lower birth weight (2 927 ± 492) g,than the weight of the control group (3 452 ± 348) g.The incidence of lower birth weight was higher than in the observation group.TG,LDL-C levels of the observation group were (0.6 ± 0.24) mmol/L,(1.95 ± 0.25) mmol/L,were higher than those of the control group[(0.39 ± 0.17) mmol/L,(1.95 ± 0.25) mmol/L].There was a statistically significant difference between the groups (t =12.35,2.35,P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).HL-C and APN of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (t =1.79,7.00,all P ＜ 0.05).Bilirubin after bomed 24 hours,48 hours,72 hours and bilirubin peak of the observation group were (8.64 ± 2.17) mg/L,(11.06 ± 3.12) mg/L,(10.32 ± 2.47) mg/L,(12.04 ± 2.13) mg/L and were higher than those of the control group [(3.06 ± 0.94) mg/L,(6.98 ± 1.56) mg/L,(7.26±1.89)mg/L,(9.64±1.98)mg/L](t=23.48,11.65,9.84,8.27,allP＜0.01).Conclusion Maternal PIH may affect birth weight,lipid metabolism and bilirubin metabolism.

OBJECTIVE:To change Chinese current irrational drugs use condition so as to promote rational drug use.METHODS:To analysis the causes of the irrational use of drugs in our country and some countermeasures were put forward.RESULTS&CONCLUSION:The situation of irrational use of drugs in our country is quite serious,there is a long way to go before we can use drugs in a rational way,which needs the co-efforts of functional authority department of the government,hospitals,doctors and pharmacists,as well as the attention and cooperation of people in the whole society.

Objective:To analyze the current status of medical students′ humanity education satisfaction rate and present situation of humanity quality and thus provide evidence to better practice of humanity education. Meth-ods:According to the random stratified cluster sampling method, the researchers selected 1146 medical students from Harbin Medical University and then investigated the objects′ humanity education satisfaction rate and general humanity situation. The data was analyzed using χ2 test in SPSS 17. 0. Results:①Satisfaction status of humanity education:the students′satisfaction to teachers′humanity quality, effect of course and library resources were low.② The present situation of humanity quality:80 . 2% of the medical students thought it was necessary to strengthen the medical students′humanity education;18. 1% of the medical students remembered the medical student oath, and there existed significant differences between different specialties;11 . 9% of the medical students could clear connotation of the humanistic concept, and there were significant differences between various grades;24. 4% and 14 . 5% of the medical students couldn′t clear the humanistic attribute of Marxist political theory course and moral course respectively; rural students′ humanity quality was statistically lower than the urban ones. Conclusion:Through optimizing the structure of humanity courses, strengthening the construction of teaching staff and attaching great importance of the library to humanity education effect, so as to improve medical students′ satisfaction of hu-manity education. The government should increase investment in rural education to narrow the gap of basic humani-ty quality education between urban and rural.

OBJECTIVE:To strengthen people's awareness of pharmacovigilance.METHODS:The pharmacovigilance associated knowledge was introduced,and the status quo about pharmacovigilance working in China and the challenge posed by which were analyzed,then the corresponding countermeasures were presented.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:Only through strengthening people's pharmacovigilance can the adverse drugs reactions and the related problems be reduced,and only by so people's level of rational use of drugs could be improved.

Objective To screen radiosensitizing-related genes mediated by elemene in lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells by using gene chip. Methods MTT test was used to calculate the IC50 of elemene. ①The effect of radiosensitivity was detected by colony forming assay. A549 cells were divided into 2 groups: radiation group and radiation + elemene group. Oligonucleotide chip was used to screen the gene expression changes of A549 cells from these 2 groups. The up-regulated gene Egr-1 and the down-regulated gene CyclinDl were selected to undergo RT-PCR so as to confirm the reliability of the result. Results MTT test showed the elemene inhibited the proliferation of the A549 cells dose-dependently. The IC50 value of elemene on the A549 cells was 120 mg/L. ②10 mg/L elemene had radiosensiting effect on A549 cells.The values of SERDO and SERDq obtained from the survival curve were (1.54±0. 20) and (1.43±0. 15 )respectively. Gene chip screened 122 differentially-expressed genes, including 89 up-regulated genes and33 down-regulated genes. ③These altered genes could be related to cell structure, substance metabolism,cell proliferation, cell differentiation, signal transduction, material transport, DNA repair, apoptosis,immune response and so forth. The RT-PCR results of Egr-1 and Cyclin D1 were consistent with the genenchip analysis.Conclusions The mechanism of elemene enhancing the radiosensitivity of lung adenoearcinoma A549 cells is the result of participation and collaboration of multiple genes. Further study of the newly-discovered differentially-expressed gene helps find out new radiosensitizational targets of elemene.

Objective: To study the effect of β-elemene combined with radiotherapy on the expression of KU70 mRNA and apoptosis of lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549. Methods: A549 cells were divided into the control group (c), irridation group (IR), β-elemene group (0.1×IC50 and 0.2×IC50 I.e. 10 μg/mL and 20pg/mL β-elemene) and β-elemene combined with irridation group (0.1×IC50 + IR and 0.2×IC50 + IR). IC50 was obtained through MTT method and cell survival rate was analyzed by colony formation test. Cell cycle and apoptosis were detected with flow cytometry. The expression level of KU70 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR. Results: MTT assay showed that IC50 value of A549 cells was 120 μg/mL. The number of cell clones and survival rate of β-elemene groups were declined significantly. The radiosensitivity of A549 cells can be enhanced by β-elemene. The flow cytometry confirmed that the ratio of G_2/M and apoptosis were significantly in-creased under the effect of β-elemene, statistically different from those in the control group (P <0.05). The expression level of KU70 mRNA in β-elemene with radiotherapy group was declined significantly, statistically different from those in the con-trol group (P<0.05). Cendusion: The rediosensitization effect of β-elemene on A549 cells is associated with induction of cell apoptosis and down-regulation of KU70 mRNA expression.

Objective: To investigate the hemodynamic changes of ophthalmic artery(OA) and central retinal artery(CRA) in patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG) and the effects of intraocular pressure(IOP) on retrobulbar hemodynamics. Methods: Following the measurement of IOP by non-contact tonometry,hemodynamic changes of OA and CRA were examined by color Doppler imaging(CDI) in 45 patients(90 eyes) with PACG,who were divided according to IOP into a hypertension(38 eyes) and a normal tension group(52 eyes).Observations were made of the peak systolic velocity(PSV),end-diastolic velocity(EDV),pulsatility index(PI) and resistance index(RI).Results: Significant differences were found between the PACG patients and the normal controls in CRA-EDV(P

OBJECTIVE:To provide references and suggestions for building and improving the R&D incentive policies for or-phan drugs in China. METHODS:The R&D incentive policies for orphan drugs in USA and the EU were compared in aspects of its legislative history,incentive measures and effects. And suggestions for improving related policies in China were put forward. RE-SULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The R&D incentive policies for orphan drugs in USA and the EU respectively started from Orphan Drug Act in USA(1983)and Orphan Drug Management Specification in the EU(1999),then formed relatively complete system by continuous improvement. The USA and the EU showed differences in its certification standard,procedure and specific incentives [R&D funding,tax deduction,fee reduction,additional incentives for micro and small and medium enterprises (SMEs),market exclusivity and special approval procedure],etc. In terms of fee reduction,for example,prescription application fee,production cost and drug confirmation fee were exempted in USA,while arrangement assist fee,initial and follow-up fee,checking fee before approval,initial listing type were reduced to a certain percentage in the EU. After developing incentive policies for orphan drugs, there is great increase in numbers of recognized qualifications and listing,SMEs have become new force in orphan drug R&D, R&D investment covers all types of diseases,orphan drug R&D are becoming the main direction of drug innovation and biotechnol-ogy development. China should determine the relevant legislation of R&D incentives for orphan drugs as soon as possible,set certi-fication and improve specific measures of R&D incentives for orphan drugs from multiple aspects,while strengthen the cooperation with other countries in qualification and R&D incentives.

Objective To study the effect of Sopfrology childbirth method training,Kegel training and Lamaze respiratory training (SLK training) on depression and sexual life of perinatal pregnant woman..Methods The women in 24 weeks of pregnancy who came to the clinic to receive the pregancy test were divided into study group(n=232) and control group(n=126) according whether they voluntered to participate the study.All the women in two group were subjected to regular prenatal care and the women in study group received SLK training additionally.The depression,pelvic floor muscle tension and female sexual function index were evaluated by Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),the Pelvic Floor Muscle Examination Grading Standards and the Female Sexual Function Inventory (FSFI) respectively.Results 6 months after delivery,the incidence of depression,SDS score,pelvic floor muscle tension score and live index standard rate in study group and the control group respectivelywere(10.3％ vs 18.3％),((43.6±5.1) vs(45.3±6.3)),((3.36±0.33) vs(2.46±0 89)),(81.5％ vs 65.9％),and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion SLK training program for perinatal women has the effects of preventing,treating prenatal depression and postpartum depression,improves pregnancy index and the quality of sexual life,worthy of further study.

Objective To investigate the effect of elemene on the radiosensitivity of A549 cells and its possible molecular mechanism.Methods The effect of radiosensitivity was detected by colony forming assay.The protein expressions of DNA-PKcs,Bcl-2 and P53 were detected with Western blot.The correlation between the protein expression of DNA-PKcs and Bcl-2,DNA-PKcs and P53 was analyzed.Results Elemene had radiosensitizing effect on A549 cells,with the SERDo and SERDq 1.54 ± 0.20 and 1.43±0.15,respectively for 10 μg/ml elemene,and 1.63 ±0.32 and 1.75 ±0.19,respectively for 20 μg/ml elemene.Compared with irradiation group,the expression of DNA-PKcs was reduced significantly in 10,20 μg/ml elemene combined with radiation group ( t =7.52,8.33,P ＜ 0.05 ),so was for Bcl-2(t =10.74,11.33,P ＜0.05).The expression of P53 protein increased significantly (t =-9.25,7.66,P ＜0.05).There was a remarkable negative correlation between the expression of DNA-PKcs and P53(r =-0.569,P ＜0.05),and a remarkable positive correlation between DNA-PKcs and Bcl-2 (r =0.755,P ＜0.05 ).Conclusions Elemene has radiosensitizing effect on A549 cells,which might be related to down-regulation of DNA-PKcs gene expression,up-regulation of P53 and down-regulation of Bcl-2.
