Objective To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of massage combined with Astragalus and eucommia Decoction in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.Methods100 patients with periarthritis of shoulder treated in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2016 were selected.They were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 50 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with massage, and the experimental group was treated with massage combined with astragalus root and Eucommia ulmoides decoction.The 2 groups were treated with 2 or two courses, the 1 course of treatment for 15 days.The treatment effect and relative shoulder index score of the experimental group and the control group were compared and analyzed.ResultsAfter the corresponding treatment, the effective number of patients in the experimental group was 48 cases.The effective rate of treatment was 96%.The number of effective cases in the control group was 44, and the effective rate was 88%.The effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the controlgroup, with statistical difference (P<0.05).After treatment, the shoulder function, activity and pain in the experimental group and the control group were significantly better than those before the treatment,The scores of shoulder functional performance index and shoulder pain index in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05).ConclusionMassage combined with Huangqi Eucommia Decoction in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder can improve the therapeutic effect to a great extent, reduce the pain of patients with shoulder joint, to help with the recovery of shoulder joint function, with further clinical promotion and application significance.

Objective To investigate the influence of pre-chemotherapy hemoglobin and platelet levels on the effect of chemotherapy and prognostic outcome in patients with endometrial carcinoma (EC).Methods 104 patients with EC who underwent surgical treatment following neoadjuvant chemotherapy were retrospectively analyzed.Multiple logistic regression was carried out to evaluate the relationship between the probability of achieving an optimal clinical response and the variables.The log-rank test was used to compare the homogeneity of progression-free survival and overall survival functions across strata defined by categories of prognostic variables.Results The Cox proportional hazard model was used to assess the significance of potential prognostic factors for progression-free survival and overall survival.Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that FIGO staging (OR =3.234,95 ％ CI:1.324-13.454) and lymph node metastasis (OR =8.235,95 ％ CI:1.563-18.574) were independent factors of influencing effects of new adjuvant chemotherapy in the treatment of EC patients.Multivariate Cox regression model analysis showed that the FIGO staging(HR =4.342,95％ CI:1.643-15.856) and lymph node metastasis (HR =3.853,95％ CI:1.864-9.675) were independent factors of influencing 5 years survival rate of EC patients received new adjuvant chemotherapy.Conclusion The curative effect and prognosis after receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy operation in treatment of EC patients before chemotherapy,there was no significant correlation between hemoglobin and platelet levels,and lymph node metastasis,FIGO stage.

Objective To investigate regional ventricular long-axis velocity and adjacent intraventricular flow velocity using dual-pulse wave(PW) Doppler echocardiography synchronously,and to analyze the coupling relationship between regional ventricular long-axis strain and adjacent intraventricular pressure gradients in normal cases using dual-PW Doppler echocardiography.Methods Eighty-six normal subjects aged 19～66 years [mean age (37.49 ± 11.97)years] underwent routine echocardiography and dualPW Doppler echocardiographic exam.Total 18 segments were sampled using dual-PW Doppler (PW/TDI mode) images at basal,mid and apical levels on three standard apical views,and electrocardiogram was recorded simultaneously.Peak early diastolic velocity (emax),peak late diastolic velocity (amax),peak early mitral diastolic inflow velocity (Emax),regional peak early diastolic velocity (Em),regional peak late diastolic velocity (Am) and regional peak early diastolic inflow velocity (E) were measured simultaneously in the same one cardiac cycle.Myocardial variations of left ventricular segments were observed.Em,Am and E of different levels from different ventricular wall were analyzed.The co-relationship between regional ventricular long-axis strain and adjacent intraventricular pressure gradients were calculated and analyzed.Results ①Regional myocardial velocity and regional peak early diastolic inflow velocity in normal subjects declined from basal to apical segments gradually at the same ventricular wall (P ＜ 0.01).② Emax was correlated with emax(r =0.418,P ＜0.001),and E was correlated with Em (posterior septum,r =0.610,P ＜0.001 ；anterior wall,r =0.499,P ＜0.001).③There was a medium correlation between normal longaxis strain in segments and adjacent intraventricular pressure gradients (the global,r =0.412,P ＜0.001 ；posterior septum,r =0.319,P ＜0.005).Conclusions The acquirement of E and Em by dual-PW Doppler showed downtrend of segmental wall movement and regional blood flow from basal segment to apex.Emax is correlated with e E is correlated with Em,and long-axis strain at segments is correlated with adjacent intraventricular pressure gradients partly.Dual-PW Doppler might provide a potential method for the more precise evaluation of left ventricular fluid-solid coupling during diastole.

Objective To investigate the mortality,hemodialysis duration and causes of death of maintenance hemodialysis patients in Shanxi province from Jan 2010 to Dec 2012.Methods The information data of Shanxi hemodialysis patients during 2010-2012 were exported from Chinese national renal data system.Mortality,hemodialysis duration and causes of death of maintenance hemodialysis patients were analyzed.Results Mortality of maintenance hemodialysis patients in Shanxi province in 2010 was 7.4％,and it was decreased to 6.4％ in 2011 and 6.8％ in 2012.Death patients with hemodialysis for less than 2 years accounted for 68.1％,and hemodialysis patients who could be maintained for more than 5 years only accounted for 8.1％.The main causes of mortality were sudden death (23.5％),cerebrovascular events (21.2％),heart failure(12.4％),myocardial infarction/ arrhythmia(6.5％),hemorrhagic disease(5.1％) and infection(4.9％).Conclusions Mortality of maintenance hemodialysis patients in Shanxi province is 6.4％ to 7.4％.Cardiovascular and cerebral vascular events are the main causes of death.

Objective To study the variety and significance of immune function in lung cancer patients.Methods 68 pretherapy lung cancer patients and 20 healthy volunteers with peripheral blood samples by flow cytometry.Results The proportion of CD+3T cells,CD+4T cells and the ratio of CD4/CD8 decreased in lung cancer patients,while the proportion of CD+8T cells and natural killer cells increased.Serum levels of TNF-α,IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 were significantly increased in patients compared with healthy controls,while the ratio of Th1/Th2 was decreased.(2)The natural killer cells level was negatively correlated with the CD3,CD4,CD8 levels respectively.The CD4 level was negatively correlated with the levels of IL-6,IL-10 respectively.(3)No statistically significant relationship was found between the peripheral blood lymphocyte,Th1-Th2 cytokines and pathological type,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis.Conclusion Immune suppression was very common in lung cancer patients,particularly cell mediated immunity suppressed markedly.The proportion and function of CD+4T cells decreased significantly.which may resulted from the Th1,Th2 imbalance.Natural killer cells and CD+8T cells increased significantly,but could not prevent tumor development,which may resulted from these factors that suppress immune response in tumor microenvironment.

Objective To analyze the dietary habits, energy intake and expenditure, anthropometrics, and body composition of the outpatients visiting the weight loss clinic of Beijing Hospital.Methods We pro-spectively enrolled 89 consecutive patients with body mass index ( BMI) ≥24 kg/m2 from November 2014 to August 2015 in the weight loss clinic of Beijing Hospital.There were 35 male and 54 female, with the mean age of (45.8 ±16.4) years.We divided them into two groups:the diabetes group (n=35) and the non-diabetes group (n=54), and compared the dietary habits, energy intake and expenditure, anthropometrics and body composition between the two groups.Results Regardless of diabetes, the overweight and obese patients all ate fast, mostly finishing a meal in about 10 minutes.They preferred Chinese food and meat, and disliked hot food.The frequency of dinning out in the non-diabetes group (3-5 times per week) was higher than that in the diabetes group (1-2 times per week) .Compared with the diabetes group, the non-diabetes group had higher fat-to-energy ratio [(34.9 ±7.6)%vs.(30.8 ±5.9)%], but lower carbohydrate intake [(232.2 ±59.7) g vs.(283.6 ±89.5) g], carbohydrate-to-energy ratio [ (47.9 ±8.3)%vs.(53.4 ±7.1)%], and the ratio of resting metabolic rate to body weight [ (66.9 ±9.6) kJ/(d? kg) vs.(71.1 ±7.9) kJ/(d? kg)] (all P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in total energy intake, pro-tein intake, high quality protein intake, fat intake, protein-to-energy ratio, and resting metabolic rate (all P>0.05).Anthropometrics showed that the mean BMI of the patients was (32.8 ±4.4) kg/m2, with the maxi-mum being 53.5 kg/m2.The hip circumference [ (117.15 ±9.9) cm vs.(111.1 ±8.2) cm], upper arm circumference [ (36.4 ±3.8) cm vs.(34.0 ±3.3) cm], and triceps skinfold thickness [ (36.1 ±8.9) mm vs.(31.6 ±8.8) mm] were larger in the non-diabetes group than in the diabetes group (all P<0.05), but the mean age was lower in the non-diabetes group [ (41.7 ±16.9) years vs.(52.9 ±13.1) years) (P=0.01).There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in body weight, BMI, waist circumference, neck circumference, and bilateral hand grip strength (all P>0.05).According to body compo-sition analysis, the body weight [ (94.8 ±18.3) kg vs.(86.9 ±17.2) kg], body fat mass [ (39.7 ± 11.3) kg vs.(33.5 ±8.9) kg], body fat percentage [ (41.7 ±6.5)%vs.(38.5 ±6.7)%], and visceral fat area [ (145.3 ±24.8) cm2 vs.(130.7 ±27.5) cm2 ] were larger in the non-diabetes group than in the di-abetes group ( all P<0.05) .There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in BMI and skeletal muscle mass (both P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with diabetes patients, overweight and obese non-diabetes patients may be younger, having worse dietary habits, and having larger body fat mass, body fat percentage, and visceral fat area.

Objective To evaluate the effect of Saccharomyces boulardii (SB) administration on very-low-birth-weight (VLBW) infants.Methods One hundred and ninety-eight preterm infants were prospectively randomized into observation group (105 cases) and control group (93 cases) based on the symptomatic and supportive treatment.When uncompletely stomach intestine nutrition fed,the patients of observation group took SB (50 mg/kg),the patients of control group took equivalent placebo.The times of defecation and diarrhea,the rate of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis,hospital onset of infection (septicemia,pulmonary infection),fungal infection,the time of intravenous nutrition and length of stay were compared.Results The general data in two groups had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The times of defecation,time of intravenous nutrition and length of stay in two groups had significant difference [(1.8 ± 0.4) times/d vs.(3.4 ± 0.5) times/d,(30.21 ± 3.43) d vs.(40.47 ± 4.35) d,(33.5 ± 6.8) d vs.(45.4 ± 9.3) d] (P ＜ 0.05).The rate of diarrhea,neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis,septicemia and pyemia in two groups had significant difference [14.3％ (15/105) vs.25.8％ (24/93),11.4％ (12/105) vs.19.4％ (18/93),19.0％ (20/105) vs.29.0％ (27/93)] (P ＜ 0.05).The rate of pulmonary infection and fungal infection between two groups had no significant difference(P＞ 0.05).Conclusion SB administration on VLBW infants can reduce the infection,promote enteral feeding,shorter hospital stay,and has a certain significance on the family and the community.
