Objective To investigate the effect of health education and behavioral intervention on the self-perceived burden of patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor at end-stage.Methods From March 2012 to April 2013,70 patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor whose lifetime was estimated to be within 6 months were extracted from five general hospitals in Tangshan.70 patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 35 cases in each group. The two groups samely received routine nursing care, while the intervention group was given health education and behavioral intervention. Both groups were evaluated by SPBS-CP before and after intervention. Results The scores of the intervention group after intervention were lower than before intervention and the control group, which were reflected in 3 dimensions such as care burden, psychological and emotional burden and treatment burden. Conclusions Health education and behavioral intervention can effectively relieve self-perceived burden of patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor at end-stage.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(10):-
To explore the causes and treatment of arrhythmia during the peri-operative period of thoracic surgery, 566 patients undergoing pulmonary surgery were included for a retrospective analysis. Among them, 121 patients were complicated by arrhythmia. With timely treatment, the arrhythmia was controlled in all patients. The causes of arrhythmia after pulmonary surgery were old age, heart and lung diseases, abnormal ECG before operation, and long operation time.

Objective To summarize and discuss the therapeutic strategies of mechanical ventilation for severe thoracic trauma complicated by acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Methods Ninely-four patients with severe thoracic trauma complicated by ARDS, in whom mechanical ventilation were instituted and multiple methods in addition to routine treatment, were analysed. Results Eight of them died, with a total mortality of 8.5%. After Jan. 1995, by using small tidal volume mechanical ventilation, the use of mechanical ventilation was maintained for 6.8?2.2 days(P

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(5):446-449
Objective To study the effect of modified Shengmal decotion treating viral myocarditis, and on the basis of syndrome differentiation, to discuss the type and period for treating VM.Methods The PubMed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, the Chinese biomedical literature database(SinoMed), China hownet(CNKI), and VIP database(VIP) were retrieved for the articles on VM treated by modified Shengmal decoction with RCT method. RevMan 5.0 software was adopted for Meta-analysis.ResultsA total of 7 articles and 495 patients were involved. The results showed the modified Shengmal decoction treatment group had statistical difference to the control group in treating VM[OR(95%CI) was 3.61 (2.11,6.16),Z=4.70,P<0.01]. Among them, the decoctions contalning milkvetch root or not had statistical difference compared to the control group[contalning milkvetch root[OR (95% CI) was 2.67 (1.29, 5.52),Z=2.64,P=0.008; not contalning milkvetch rootOR (95%CI) was 5.11 (2.30,11.38),Z=3.99,P<0.01].Conclusion Modified Shengmal decoction has certaln effects in treating VM of Qi and yin deficiency type or VM in the advanced stage showing Qi and yin deficiency. The effectiveness of adding milkvetch root in Shengmal decoction to treat VM should be further discussed, the use of milkvetch root must be based on the premise of careful syndrome differentiation.

Objective Cellular response to estradiol is mediated both by estrogen receptor (ER) binding to estrogen response element (ERE) and by non-nuclear actions like activation of signal transduction pathways such as mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. However, the signal transduction of estrogen involving phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B (PI3K -PKB) is not clear in endometrial carcinoma. Our purpose was to study if PI3K-PKB signaling pathway could be activated rapidly by 17?-E 2 through non-nuclear action and also, whether PI3K inhibitor, LY294002, could inhibit such non-nuclear action of 17?-E 2 in endometrial carcinoma cell line Ishikawa. Methods Levels of phosphorylated PKB(Ser473 site, p-PKB) and total PKB were examined by western blotting in Ishikawa cells after stimulation with 17?-E 2 at 1?10 -6 mol/L for different time periods and at varied doses for 30 min. Optimal time and appropriate dose for 17?-E 2 to activate PKB in Ishikawa cells were observed. Inhibitory effect of LY294002 on activation of PKB induced by 17?-E 2 was also studied. p-PKB/PKB ratio was used to indicate levels of activation of PKB. Results p-PKB/PKB at 15 min (0.533?0.029) was significantly higher than the control (0.361?0.029, P 0.05, 0.05,

Objective To observe the effect of compound rehmannia on SOD and ATP enzyme in the brain of SAM-P/8 dementia mice and the change of apoptosis neuron cells. Methods SAM-P/8 mice were divided randomly into three groups:experimental group, treatment group and model group.Mice in experimental group were lavaged by compound rehmannia(2ml/day,individual).Mice in treatment group were lavaged by donepezil hydrochloride(400mg/kg,individual),and mice in normal group and model contrast group were lavaged by equal sodium chloride. After 3 weeks,we observed mice′s behavior in every group and investigated the changes of SOD,Na+-K+-ATP enzyme by immunohistochemistry and investigated the changes of apoptosis cells peak by FCM.Results Compound rehmannia could improve learning and memory ability of the SAM-P/8 mice, strengthen SOD,Na+-K+-ATP activity and reduce apoptosis neurons in brain. Conclusion Compound rehmannia can significantly improve the Alzheimer's mice learning and memory ability, strengthen the energy of brain cells, and increase resistance to free radical antioxidant capacity, reduce the neuron apoptosis and has a good relatively protection and care to SAM-P/8 mice brain neurons.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the diagnosis of frontal, ethmoid sinus cyst with eye symptoms as initial amount, and the curative effect of nasal endoscopic operation.
METHOD:
To retrospectively analyze clinical data of sixteen patients with frontal, ethmoid sinus cyst from February 2006 to March 2008.
RESULT:
Diagnostic accordance rate of paranasal sinus MRI and CT examination In 16 patients is 100%. Fourteen patients' ocular symptoms disappeared after nasal endoscope operation treatment, two of them improved. None of them recurrened after the fol low-up 3-6 years up to now, all the patients had satisfactory curative effect.
CONCLUSION
Paranasal sinuses and or bital cavity have close relationship , patients with sinus lesions always firstly visit Ophthalmology doctor. The results of MRI and CT examination are of great value for diagnosis. Patients with frontal, ethmoid sinus cyst with eye symptoms as initial amount should be early diagnosed. The treatment of nasal endoscope operation is safe, effective and is worth of firstly chosen.
