Objective To discuss the position nursing for neonates with type three congenital esophageal atresia after operation. Methods We selected 10 patients with type three congenital esophageal atresia from September 2004 to May 2007.The respirator, trachea catheter was removed after operation and the SpO2 was lower than 95% through head mask. Then the SpO2 was compared in different positions of patients, that is face forward, face lateral, face forward with hypsokinesis, face lateral with hypsokinesis. Results All the ten patients survived the operation. The Sp02 in the four positions under oxygen inhalation were (90.30±0.95)%, (89.90±0.74)%, (96.80±1.48)%, (95.90±0.88)%.The former two results were statistically different from the latter two results (P < 0.01). Conclusions The position of face forward with hypsokinesis and face lateral with hypsokinesis facilitated the transition to natural respiration for patients with type three congenital esophageal atresia after remove of respirator and trachea catheter. This could prevent the incidence of complications and the probability of reuse of respirator.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
We found previously that water soluble extract of Liriope spicata Lour (SanMaiDong) possesses cardioprotective action. The paper reported that effects of total aminoacid ex- traded from Liriope spicata Lour (Tal) on experimental myocardial ischemia in rats. The results indicate that Tal (5 mg?kg-1 ,ip) obviously antagonized ischemic ECG changes induced by pituitrin in rats. In myocardial ischemic rats caused by isoprenaline (8 mg?kg-1) Tal 15 mg? kg-1ip significantly reduced ST and decreased CPK release and lowered the content of MDA. In a myocardial ischemic mode) induced by ligat-ing the left anterior descending coronary artery in rats, Tal 15 mg?kg-1ip remarkably decreased plasma CPK and FFA levels and was found todiminish the infarct size. The ratio of its infarct size (5. 80%) is similar to that of propranolol (5. 41%),but apparently smaller than that of ligated group (18.55%). The results suggest that Tal can protect ischemic myocardium and this action may relate to the prevention of my-ocardial lipid peroxication and improvement of myocardial metabolism.

Objective To study the effect of rimonabant, cannabinoid receptor 1(CB1) antagonist, on the expressions of CB1 andα-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in C57 mice with experimental hepatic fibrosis, and their mechanisms in liver fibrosis progression thereof. Methods Thirty C57 mice were randomly divided into three groups, normal control group, mod-el control group and model+rimonabant group, 10 mice for each group. The mouse model of experimental hepatic fibrosis was induced by intraperitoneal injection with 10%CCl4 for two weeks. The normal saline was delivered by gavage daily in normal control group and model control group. Rimonabant was given to mice in model+rimonabant group. Mice were sacri-ficed at the end of eight weeks. Samples of liver tissue were collected. The expressions of CB1 andα-SMA in liver tissue of mice were observed by immunohistochemical staining. The score of fibrosis stage (S) in liver tissue was also analyzed. Re-sults The positive expressions of CB1 andα-SMA and the score S were significantly higher in model control group and model+rimonabant group than those in normal control group (P<0.05). The positive expressions of CB1 andα-SMA and the score S were significantly lower in rimonabant group than those in model control group (P<0.05). There were positive corre-lations in CB1,α-SMA and S scores between normal control group, model control group and model+rimonabant group (P<0.05). Conclusion The activation of CB1 can promote the formation of liver fibrosis. The anti-fibrotic effect of rimonabant, CB1 antagonist, related with the inhibiting of the proliferation and activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSC), and the inhibit-ing of the expression of CB1.

BACKGROUND:Interleukin-8 is an important inflammatory chemokine that plays an important role in the regulation of tumor cel proliferation and angiogenesis.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of interleukin-8 on the invasion and metastasis of CD133+hepatocel ular carcinoma stem cel s.
METHODS:After isolation and culture of MHCC97-H cel lines, CD133+/CD133-MHCC97-H cel s were sorted using immunomagnetic beads. CD133 expression was detected using flow cytometry, and interleukin-8 level in supernatant was measured using ELISA method. Cloning efficiency, tumorigenic capacity, cel migration and invasion ability were detected through colony formation assay, tumorigenesis experiment in nude mice, and Transwel detection. Additional y, other cel s were neutralized using interleukin-8 neutralizing antibody. Measurement results were compared between cel s undergoing different treatments.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The CD133 level, interleukin-8 level, cloning efficiency and cel membrane permeability of CD133+MHCC97-H cel s were significantly higher than those of CD133-MHCC97-H cel s (P<0.05). Transplantation of CD133+MHCC97-H cel s at 1×106/L and 1×107/L resulted in subcutaneous tumors in some mice, whereas no subcutaneous tumors appeared in mice undergoing transplantation of CD133-MHCC97-H cel s at the same concentrations. After interleukin-8 neutralizing antibody treatment, the CD133 level, interleukin-8 level, and cloning efficiency of CD133+/CD133-MHCC97-H cel s were significantly decreased (P<0.05), especial y in the CD133+MHCC97-H cel s (P<0.01);the migration and invasion ability and cel membrane permeability of CD133+MHCC97-H cel s were significantly reduced (P<0.05), but these changes were not obvious in CD133-MHCC97-H cel s (P>0.05). These results show that interleukin-8 could be specifical y involved in the invasion and metastasis of CD133+MHCC97-H cel s.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(36):5345-5350
BACKGROUND:As the existence of tumor stem cel s, it is difficult to completely eliminate tumors in clinic.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the tumor-kil ing effect of gastric cancer stem cel s as antigen to stimulate dendritic cel s combined with cytokine-induced kil er cel s.
METHODS:Side population cel s from human gastric cancer cel lines were isolated, and tumor antigen was prepared by freeze thawing method. After coculture with dendritic cel s, dendritic cel s combined with cytokine-induced kil er cel s, gastric cancer cel antigen, and gastric cancer stem cel antigen, kil ing rates of gastric cancer cel s were detected using MTT assay. Expression rate of CD83, a mature dendritic cel surface marker, was also detected.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The CD83 expression level and kil ing rate of gastric cancer cel s were both significantly lower in the gastric cancer stem cel antigen group than the other groups (both P<0.05). These results indicate that gastric cancer stem cel s as antigen to stimulate dendritic cel s combined with cytokine-induced kil er cel s can promote the proliferation of gastric cancer cel s and elevate the ability to kil ing gastric cancer cel s.
