ObjectiveTo observe the treatment effects and importance of dinoprostone suppository in promoting cervical ripening during induction of labor for full-term pregnancy and nursing points. Methods92 cases of pregnancies in the obstetrics and gynecology department of our hospital from December 2009 to January 2011 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 46 cases in each group.The observation group was given dinoprostone suppository for induction of labor,while the control group was given induction of labor by pitocin.The curative effects of these two drugs in cervical ripening in labor induction were compared. ResultsThe curative effects of the observation group were obvious,the cervical score of the observation group 12 h after medication was obviously higher.than that before the treatment,and compared with the control group,there were significant differences.The labor time,the total production process and delivery time of the observation group were all obviously lower than those of the control group.The successful induction rate was 91.3％ in the observation group,which was obviously higher than 80.4％ of the control group. ConclusionsThe dinoprostone suppository is suitable for cervical mature during induction of labor for full-term pregnancy,and it is safe,controllable and has good effects.

The rapid development of immunotherapy has exceeded that of standard treatment modes, which include surgery, radio-therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy. Immunotherapy is more durable and less toxic than traditional cancer therapies. More-over, immune checkpoint therapy is an important component of immunotherapy and has been evaluated in preclinical and clinical tri-als and proven to exhibit broad prospects. However, its clinical benefits are limited to a small subset of patients with a subset of tumor types. Therefore, reasonable comprehensive therapeutic strategies are needed to overcome this limitation. Gene targeted therapy, ra-diotherapy, chemotherapy, and tumor vaccine affect the immune system through different mechanisms, and these could provide theo-retical bases for comprehensive treatments. In this review, immune checkpoint therapy and its potential comprehensive therapies with other cancer treatments are introduced.

Objective To investigate the changes of plasma adiponectin concentration in type 2 diabetic patients with macrovascular complications.Methods Forty-nine cases of type 2 diabetic patients with macrovascular complications,fifty-four cases of type 2 diabetic patients without macrovascular complications and thirty-five healthy people were investigated.Their plasma adiponectin levels was assayed.Meanwhile,the levels of blood pressure,plasma glucose,lipids and C-peptide were measured.The plasma adiponectin levels among three groups were compared,and the factors affecting the plasma adiponectin were analyzed.Results The plasma adiponectin levels in the group of type 2 diabetes without macrovascular complications were lower than in the control group and were the lowest in the group of type 2 diabetes with macrovascular complications.The plasma adiponectin levels of these three groups were (16.37?3.03)mg/L,(6.69?4.42)mg/L,(4.08?3.24)mg/L,respectively.The differences among the three groups were statistically significant (P

Background Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) is a major cause of visual loss in many fundus diseases.Fundus angiography (FA) is essential for the diagnosis,location and treatment of CNV.However, FA is an invasive examination method.Split spectrum amplitude decorrelation angiography (SSADA) OCT can quickly and clearly provide vascular signals.However, whether SSADA-OCT is feasible in the evaluation of CNV remains unclear.Objective This study was to detect and quantify CNV using OCT angiography.Methods Thirteen patients with unilateral CNV were included in Beijing Tongren Eye Center from June 2014 to August 2014.All affected eyes of the subjects were scanned with a high-speed frequency domain OCT.The SSADA-OCT images were obtained by scanning of macula covered 6 mm×6 mm area.The CNV area and grey scale were computed from the en face OCT images of retinal layer and choroidal layer.This study followed the Helsinki Declaration and was approved by the Ethics Committee of Beijing Tongren Hospital,and written informed consent was obtain from each patient prior to any medical examination.Results SSADA-OCT angiogram revealed CNV area and location confirmed by fluorescein angiography,and the CNV blood flow information of internal limiting membrane,inner plexiform layer,retinal pigment epithelium,and choroid was exhibited by OCT angiography.All CNVs with different causes showed the well defined and hyperreflected signal in macular region.The average CNV area was (0.15 ±0.09)mm2 , and the average grey scale of CNV was 75.40±32.35 in the affected eyes,and that in the contralateral eyes was 26.99±22.87 in the 300 μm area,showing significant elevation in gray scale in the affected eyes compared with the contralateral eyes (t =6.946, P＜0.001).Conclusions OCT angiography is a noninvasive observation technique of retinal and choroidal blood flow.It can provide quantitative information and detailed images of CNV.

Background Cystoid macular edema (CME) is caused by many fundus diseases.The noninvasive clinical diagnosis methods for CME are conventional color fundus photography up to now.However,these images can not display the CME range well.Confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (cSLO) based retinal imaging can provide clear picture with high contrast.However,whether cSLO imaging is feasible in the quantitative assessment of CME remains unclear.Objective This study was to image the boundary of CME and assess the quantification of CME image from cSLO imaging technology.Methods A series case-observational study was designed.This study protocal was approved by Ethic Committee of Beijing Tongren Hospital.cSLO based retinal imaging technology was carried out on consecutive 24 eyes of 24 patients with clinically diagnosed and OCT confirmed CME in Beijing Tongren Eye Center from August to December 2015 under the informed consent of each individual.The radial scan range was 45°× 45 ° and the line scan level was 49 at macula area.The pseudocolar image,green light reflective image (532 nm) and infrared reflective image (785 nm) were collected.The imaging was analyzed by EasyScan software (version 1.2.2).Fundus color photography and SD-OCT were carried out in each patient.The images were graded by specialists according to the SD-OCT cross sectional results.Results The primary causes of CME included epiretinal membrane (10 eyes),branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) (6 eyes),central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) (4 eyes),diabetic retinopathy (DR) (3 eyes) and CRVO with BRVO (1 eye).A CME image was exhibited on the fundus color photogram with the obscure boundary;while the clear range of CME was displayed by the cSLO imaging.The mean score of CME from pseudocolar image,green light reflective image and infrared reflective image was 3.21±0.78,2.67±0.96 and 2.54±0.83,respectively,which was significantly higher than 1.33±0.82 from the fundus color photography (all at P＜0.01).Conclusions In CME patients,the imaging quality from cSLO-based retinal imaging technology is better than that from traditional fundus color photography.Combined with SD-OCT sectional scan analysis,cSLO-based retinal imaging technology may offer a method to observe and record more fundus details for CME diagnosis.

[Objective]To investigate the characteristics of the distally based sural neurofasciocutaneous flap for repairing soft tissue defects in heel.[Method]From June 2002 to July 2008,58 cases of soft tissae defects in heal were repaired with distally based sural neurofasciocutaneous flaps.Among them,10 cases combined with a dead cavity,13 cases were innervated with the anastomosis of the sural nerve to the cutaneous nerve of recipient site.The size of the flaps ranged from 8 cm?4 cm to 20 cm?15 cm.The perforating barnches of peroneal artery in fascia pedicle were exposed first,and then the flaps were harvested.[Result]Forty-six flaps survived uneventfully.Necrosis took place in the distal part in 12 flaps,and the wounds healed after changing dressing daily,two-stage suture or skingrafting.Through 1 to 34 months of follow-up,all the survival flaps provided good contours.Infection was controlled and no recurrence,ulcer or pressure sore was found.Walk function was good.[Conclusion]Distally based sural neurofasciocutaneous flaps for reparing soft tissue defects have many advantages.It can offer abundant blood supply,large survival size,simple operation,high achievement rate,and re-establishment of protective sensation.The flaps can repair almost all defects in heel.

[Objective]To investigate the clinical effect of Chinese herbal medicine washout combined with lactic acid bacteria vaginal capsule on refractory vaginitis. [Method] Divide 500 patients into 3 types: downward flow of damp-heat, damp toxin implication, internal heat due of Yin deficiency, which treated with different decoctions with lactic acid bacteria vaginal capsule. Fol ow up for 3m after treatment course, observe recurrence; make vaginal secre-tion tests before and after treatment. [Result] In downward flow of damp heat type, 139 cases were cured, 11 effective, the total effective rate 100%; on damp toxin implication type, 183 cases were cured, 13 effective, total effective rate 100%;for internal heat due to Yin deficiency, 141 were cured, 9 effec-tive and total effective rate 100%. There’s no recurrence after 3m. [Conclusion] The said method can effectively regulate vaginal micro-ecological envi-ronment and reduce recurrence of refractory vaginitis, with safe clinical application and definite cure effect.

Objective To study the relation between changed atrial load and atrial septal motion.Methods Forty one patients with valve diseases,7 patients with congenital heart diseases, and 12 normal subjects were involved.Two dimensional image was obtained by transesophageal echocardiography.The thickness,wave time and velocity were showed during atrial septal motion by omni directional M mode echocardiography (OME).Results With increase of the volume load and pressure load in the atrium,the atrial septal thickness increased, and the velocity of atrial septal motion increased or reduced.Conclusions OME shows that the thickness and velocity of atrial septal motion relates with condition of atrial load.

Objective Artificial mineral water pills were made by loading many kinds of trace elements into the ceramic carrier.Pure water could be mineralized after dipping the pills into the water.To assess the possible hazardous effects on the human health induced by the pills,a series of hygienic and toxicological experiments on the pills were carried out.Methods Acute oral toxicity test,micronucleus test of mice bone marrow cells,sperm abnormality test in mice and Ames test were con-ducted.Contents of trace elements,heavy metals and radioactivity in the mineralized water were determined according to the examination methods in Standard Examination Methods for Drinking Water and Examination Methods for Drinking Natural Min-eral Water.Results The contents of trace elements,heavy metals and radioactivity in mineralized water met the requirements of GB5749-1985Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water and GB8537-1995Sanitary Standard for Drinking Natural Mineral Wa-ter.Mineral pills were classified as actually non-toxic and the results of micronucleus test of mice bone marrow cells,sperm ab-normality test in mice and Ames test were negative.Conclusion Mineralized drinking water treated by artificial mineral pills were safe.

Objective To study the effect of labeling esophageal carcinoma with sliver clips on two sides by esophagoscopy in mapping the target for conformal radiotherapy (CRT). Methods Eighty patients with esophageal carcinoma (28 patients in early stage, 52 patients in late stage), who were eligible for CRT, were collected and the tumor volume was detected by three methods: CT (A),CT combined with X-ray (B) and CT combined with sliver clip labeling by esophagoscopy (C). The differences of the tumor length and position in head-foot site (Y-axsis) among three methods were compared. Results The comparison of average length of tumor in early stage patients showed significant difference among three methods in all types of tumor (F= 4.07 ～ 7.43, P＜0.05 ) except papillary type (F= 1. 71, P＞0. 05). There was difference (ranged from 0. 5 cm to 2. 0 cm) in detection of position in head-foot site between A and B methods and C method. Significant difference was found in determining the displacement on head-foot site among three methods (F = 34. 36 ～193.50,P ＜0.01). The comparison of average length of tumor in middle or terminal stage patients showed significant difference among three methods in all types of tumor (F=4. 07～30.10 ,P＜0.05) except mushroom type (F = 2.44, P＞ 0. 05). Significant difference was found in determining the displacement on head-foot site among three methods (F= 12.00 ～ 21.16, P ＜ 0. 01 ). Conclusion These findings indicate that C method is more sensitive and correct in mapping the target for CRT in comparison with other two methods.
