Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;22(1):35-37
Objective To observe the effect of the trinity comprehensive therapy for adolescent pseudo-myopia.Methods According to the digital table,149 patients(298 eyes) were divided into the observation group75 patients(150 eyes) and the control group74 patients(148 eyes). The observation group were given with the trinity comprehensive therapy:herbal acupoint massage,auricular-plaster therapy and to wear the crystal apparatus. The control group were given with 0.5% tropicamide eye drops.Based on the naked distant vision, this paper will observe their respective curative effect, and then make the statistical analysis afterwards. Results The effective rate in the observation group was(95.14%),which was significantly higher than (78.26%)of the control group (Z =-12.563,P < 0.05).Meanwhile,the effect of the treatment on the naked visual acuity in pseudo-myopia who were with (0.8 ± 0.1) was significantly higher than that of the naked visual acuity of the patients with low vision. And after a half-a-year treatment, the vision loss rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of the trinity comprehensive therapy for adolescent pseudo-myopia is definite, and can be maintained for a long time, which has a certain value to prevent the occurrence and development of juvenile myopia.

AIM: To establish the quality standard for Qidan Granules(Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Radix Astragali,Myrrha,Rhizoma Curcumae;Faeces Togopteri). METHODS: Myrrh,Rhizoma Curcumae and Faeces Trogopteri in Qidan Granules were identified by TLC.The content of tanshinone Ⅱ_A was determined by HPLC.The astragaloside content was determined by HPLC-ELSD. RESULTS: Myrrh,Rhizoma Curcumae and Faeces Trogopteri could be identified by TLC.There was a good linear relationship between the peak area and quantity of tanshinone Ⅱ_A at the range of 2.98-953.6 ng,r=0.999 9,and the recovery was 100.6%,RSD was(0.5%.) Also, there was a good natural logarithm linear relationship between the peak area and quantity of astragaloside at the range of 2.05-40.92 ?g,r=0.999 8,and the recovery was 102.0%,RSD was 1.8%.(CONCLUSION:) The method can be used to set up the quality standard for Qidan Granules.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(01):-
Post-translational modification by ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modifiers(Ubls) is one of the most important mechanisms regulating a wide range of cellular processes in eukaryotes.Previous research showed that, through covalently modification by ubiquitin or ubls, the substrate proteins can be regulated in many different ways like stability, subcellular localization, enzymatic activity,protein-protein interaction and so on.Therefore,we believe, that ubiquitin and ubls play very important roles in cellular and biological processes by modifying plenty of proteins. To better understand the ubiquitin and ubls system, proteomic approaches have been developed to purify and identify more protein substrates.Large-scale idendification of ubiquitin/ubls-modification sites by mass spectrometry is particularly important for understanding the molecular mechanism and function of ubiquitin/ubls modification.Upto the present, more and more scientists are getting interested and participating in proteomics research of ubiquitin/Ubl modifications. This review summarizes the rencent results in this field.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 1988;0(03):-
The purpose of this paper was to find a safe and effective concentration of lido- caine in intravenous combining anesthesia.33 cases had been maintained with the intravenous instillation of 0.5% lidocaine and 0.1% scotine the lidocaine concentrations at the period of after introduction,30',60',90',120'and recovery were measured respectively. The safty and effective range of this drug would be 2.1—5?g/ml. Also,in this paper, the relationship between the rate of instilation and the concentration of Lidocaine was studied. There was a positive correlation between the drope per minute amd the concentration during the period of the first 60 minutes. After 90 minutes from the beginning, there was no linear correlation. If we want to maintain the safty and effective blood concentration(2.1—5?g/ml), the necessary rate of instillation is 46?10 drops/minute during the first 60 minutes and 27.8?5 drops/minute after 90 minutes. This result shows that lidocaine is easy to accumulate obviously in the body.If we want the patient to recover at the time of the operation just performed,we must stop this drug 50 miuutes before the operation is finished.

Objective To determine the neuronal damage or loss and gliosis at the cellular level in spinocerebellar ataxia type 3/Machado-Joseph disease(SCA3/MJD), and evaluate the potential use of neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and protein S 100 B(S100B) serum concentrations as biochemical markers. Methods Serum concentrations of NSE and S100B were measured in 102 SCA3/MJD patients and 100 healthy subjects matched by sex and age. The correlations between both markers and age, age of onset, disease duration, CAG repeat size, scores of international cooperative ataxia rating scale(ICARS), and scale for the assessment and rating of ataxia(SARA) were analyzed. Results Compared with the healthy controls, patients with SCA3/MJD had higher NSE serum concentrations [(6.95±2.83)ng/mL vs (4.83±1.70) ng/mL, P<0.05] and higher S100B serum concentrations [(0.07±0.06) ng/mL vs (0.05±0.02) ng/mL, P<0.05]. In the SCA3/MJD patients group, NSE levels presented a positive correlation with age, disease duration, ICARS scores and SARA scores, whereas S100B levels did not correlate with age, age of onset, disease duration, ICARS scores and SARA scores. CAG repeat size did not correlate with the NSE levels and S100B levels in different age groups of SCA3/MJD patients. Conclusion Serum NSE might be a useful marker to monitor disease progression and represent the degree of severity of a certain disease. Elevated S100B serum concentrations in patients compared to healthy controls may suggest an application of this protein as a peripheral marker of brain impairment in SCA3/MJD.

Objective To investigate the related factors of international cooperative ataxia rating scale (ICARS) and scale for the assessment and rating of ataxia scores (SARA) in patients with spinocerebellar ataxia type 3/Machado-Joseph disease. Methods A total of 126 SCA3/MJD patients were assessed by ICARS and SARA. The relation between ICARS or SARA scores and age of onset, disease duration and CAG repeat size was analyzed. Results Either the total ICARS or the total SARA score was positively related with the disease duration(r=0.586,P<0.05;r=0.643,P<0.05). Simple linear regression equations were: Y1(total ICARS score)=13.072+2.388 X2(disease duration)(F=68.874,P<0.05); Y2(total SARA score)=4.403+ 0.961 X2(disease duration)(F=87.254, P<0.05). Either age adjusted the total ICARS score or age adjusted the total SARA score was positively related with CAG repeat size(r=0.328, P<0.05; r=0.335, P<0.05). Both the ICARS subscores and the SARA subscores were positively related with the disease duration(r=0.257-0.589, P<0.05; r=0.432-0.623, P<0.05). Both age adjusted ICARS subscores and age adjusted SARA subscores were positively related with CAG repeat size(r=0.263-0.403, P<0.05; r=0.189-0.366, P<0.05). Analysis of variance showed that the total ICARS score and the total SARA score increased with the disease stage. Conclusion ICARS and SARA are both reliable and effective scales in assessing the severity of ataxia in patients with SCA3/MJD, and researchers can choose the most suitable scale according to specific requirement.
