Aim To explore the effects of heat stress on TNF-?-induced fever and the content of cAMP in rat hypothalamus. Methods ①We examined the peak time of HSP70 expression in hypothalamus after heat stress; ②We studied the change of TNF-?-induced fever and the content of cAMP in hypothalamus after heat stress. Result The maximum expression of HSP70 in hypothalamus was attained at 12 h after heat stress. Heat stress limited TNF-?-induced fever and decreased the content of cAMP in hypothalamus. Conclusion Heat stress can inhibit TNF-?-induced fever in rats, and this effect may be related with the inhibition of cAMP synthesis induced by high expression HSP70 in hypothalamus.

Objective To evaluate the function and synchronization of left atrial in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) by real-time three dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE).MethodsThirty healthy controls and thirty-two patients with CHF were studied. The CHF were divided into group CHF1 with the normal of left ventricular filling pressure and group CHF2 with the elevated of that. From the volume-time curve of RT-3DE workstation, the maximum volume (LAVmax),the minimum volume (LAVmin),the volume before contraction (LAVp) of left atrial were acquired.Accordingly, the total, passive and active ejection fraction could be calculated. The synchronization parameters derived from RT3DE were the dispersion and maximum difference of time to minimum volume for left atrial segments (Tmsv- 16-SD,Tmsv 12-SD,Tmsv-6-SD,Tmsv- 16-Dif,Tmsv 12-Dif,Tmsv-6 Dif). The index of volume and time were corrected by the body surface area and interval of R-R,respectively.The correlation were analysed in them. Results ① All the index of volume before and after correction were gradually increasing from control to CHF2 group, but the LATEF,LAPEF and LAAEF were just the reverse, with all parameters had significant difference among total groups( P <0.01 ).②The synchronization parameters were significantly higher from control to CHF2 group( P <0.01 ).Comparing between two groups,no significant difference of the synchronization parameters were found between CHF1 group and CHF2 group ( P > 0.05),except Tmsv-16-SD% and Tmsv-16-Dif% ( P <0.01 ).③The Tmsv-16-SD% and Tmsv-16-Dif% had a positive correlation with the index of volume and a negative correlation with the ejection fraction. The most significantly correlation parameters was LAVmaxI,with r =0.75 and P <0.01.ConclusionsThe function of left atrium are reduced in patients of CHF,there are dyssynchronization. The higher of the filling pressure of left ventricle, the lager of the dyssynchronization of left atrium.RT-3DE may paly important roles in the evaluation of function and synchronization of left atrium.

Objective To identify the association between fatigue and depression in Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods 56 PD patients were enrolled in this study. The degree of fatigue was measured by Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS).Hamilton Depression Scale (24 items) was used to evaluate the degree of depression.PD Quality of Life Questionnaire (PDQL) were tested to evaluate the quality of life in PD patients. While other clinical information such as Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) Ⅲ,Hoehn-Yahr Scale and modified Webster Scale were investigated. Results The incidence of fatigue in this group is 71.4% (40/56).Score of HAMD and PDQL exhibited a significant correlation to patients' fatigue, coefficient of partial correlation was 0.451 (P < 0.01),-0.346 (P < 0.05).The incidence of fatigue in non-depressive patients was low,27.3 %.While in depressive patients, the incidence of fatigue is relatively high, for mild depression 75%,moderate depression 100%,severe depression 100% respectively. Conclusions Fatigue is a prominent symptom of depression in PD patients, sometimes independent of depression also influencing the patients' quality of life.

Objective:
To evaluate the effect of spermine oxidase (SMO) inhibitor SI-4650 on the proliferation of a human malignant melanoma cell line A375, and to explore its molecular mechanism.
Methods:
Some cultured A375 cells were divided into 6 groups to be treated with SI-4650 at concentrations of 0, 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160 μmol/L respectively for 24, 48 and 72 hours, and methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay was performed to evaluate changes in cellular proliferative activity. According to the cellular proliferative activity, 3 concentrations (0, 40, 80 μmol/L) were screened out. Some A375 cells were divided into 3 groups to be treated with 0 (control group) , 40 and 80 μmol/L SI-4650 for 48 hours. Chemiluminescence assay was conducted to detect the SMO activity in A375 cells, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis to determine the polyamine content in A375 cells, flow cytometry to analyze the cell cycle and detect the apoptosis, and Western blot analysis to determine the protein expression of apoptotic marker proteins Bax and c-PARP, inhibitor of apoptosis protein Bcl-2, and autophagy marker proteins Beclin-1 and LC3-Ⅱ. Statistical analysis was carried out by using one-way analysis of variance for comparison of means among several groups, and by using Student-Newman-Keuls (SNK) -

Objective:To explore the efforts of applying mindfulness stress reduction therapy in alleviating stress reactions and burnout among head nurses in the context of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).Methods:This was a quasi experimental study. In June 2021, 109 head nurses with mild or above burnout measured by Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) from 12 hospitals in Zhangjiagang City were selected as the research objects to implement mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy for 8 weeks, and the scores of the Five Facet Mindfulness Question-naire (FFMQ), Stress Response Questionnaire (SRQ) and MBI of the head nurses were compared before and after the intervention. Results:The five dimensions of observation, description, perceived action, non-judgment, and non-response and the total scores of the FFMQ were (26.28 ± 1.32), (26.94 ± 1.29), (25.49 ± 0.99), (25.45 ± 1.05), (23.48 ± 1.01), and (127.63 ± 3.78) of the post-intervention, which were higher than the pre-intervention scores of (25.04 ± 1.37), (25.04 ± 1.37), (25.37 ± 1.18), (24.15 ± 1.00), (24.09 ± 0.98), (22.26 ± 1.04), and (120.90 ± 4.06), with statistically significant differences ( t values were -39.21- -15.36, all P<0.01). The three dimensions of emotional, somatic, and behavioral responses and total scores of the post-intervention SRQ were (27.70 ± 6.12), (20.75 ± 4.20), (15.19 ± 3.11), and (65.99 ± 12.43), respectively, lower than the pre-intervention scores of (29.19 ± 6.91), (21.86 ± 5.20), (16.48 ± 4.16), and (70.12 ± 15.97), with statistically significant differences ( t values were 5.70-9.33, all P<0.01); the scores of dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in post-intervention MBI were (26.24 ± 4.60) and (5.96 ± 1.25), lower than the pre-intervention scores of (29.66 ± 6.02) and (6.90 ± 1.59). The post-intervention scores of personal fulfillment (32.37 ± 5.02), higher than the pre-intervention scores of (28.60 ± 6.04), all with statistically significant differences ( t=15.36, 13.50, -9.65, all P<0.01). Conclusions:The implementation of mindfulness stress reduction therapy for the head nurses can relieve their work pressure due to the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, reshape their healthy psychology, and reduce job burnout.
