1.Sanhua Zhuyun Decoction Treat Functional Indigestion

[Objective] To explore the effective method for functional indigestion.[Method] 99 cases were divided into 2 groups,the treatment group 66 cases were treated with self-made formula,the control with cisapridecap.[Result] In treatment group,35 cases were cured,15 had marked effect,11 were effective,5 had no effect,the total effective rate was 92.4%;for control one,they were 11,9,7,6 and 81.1% respectively.[Conclusion] TCM Sanhua Zhuyun Decoction has good effect on functional indigestion.
2.Connective tissue growth factor in the intervertebral discs exerts an anabolic effect on the extracellular matrix

BACKGROUND:Because of the deficiency of researches on connective tissue growth factor associated with orthopedic diseases, very little attention has been paid to the studies on connective tissue growth factor in the intervertebral disc.
OBJECTIVE:Through exploring the role and mechanism of connective tissue growth factor in disc degeneration, to provide new evidence for biotherapy of disc degeneration.
METHODS: A computer-based search of PubMed and CNKI was performed by the first author to retrieve articles relevant to the effect and mechanism of connective tissue growth factor on degenerative disc and its related tissues published from January 1997 to October 2014. The keywords were “intervertebral disc; CTGF; TGF-β;hypoxia; disc degeneration” in Chinese and English, respectively, which appeared in the title, abstract or keywords. Articles published recently or in authoritative journals were preferred, and finaly 34 articles were included in result analysis.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Recentlyin vivo and in vitro studies on the intervertebral disc have clearly demonstrated the anabolic role of connective tissue growth factor in stimulating matrix production from nucleus pulposus cels and revealed that the transforming growth factorβ-connective tissue growth factor axis was of great importance to celular matrix productionviaregulations and stimulations to transforming growth factor β and hypoxia, while the regulation of hypoxia for connective tissue growth factor was another in a specific cel and tissue manner.
3.Jianpi Qingwei(Reinforce Spleen to Clear Stomach) Decoction Treat Chronic Erosive Gastritis 38 Cases

[Objective] To discuss the clinical effect of Jianpi Qingwei Decoction on chronic erosive gastritis(CEG). [Method] Choose the said patients 68 cas-es, randomly divide them into treatment group(n=38) and control one(n=30).The treatment group take the self-made Jianpi Qingwei Decoction for treat-ment;the control one, lansoprazole and col oid pectinBi. Both take 4w as a course;after 1 course, compare their cure effect and side effects;fol ow up the re-currence. [Result] In the treatment group, 22 cases were cured, 13 better, 3 uncured, the total effective rate 92.10%;for the control one, they were respective-ly 13,11,6 and 80.00%;by comparison, their difference had statistical meaning;there ’s no recurrence fol owing up for half year. [Conclusion] Jianpi Qingwei Decoction has marked cure effect and little side effects on CEG, without easy recurrence, worth promotion.
4.The establishment of a modified method to evaluate angiogenesis of rat rings in serum free medium

The establishment of a modified method to evaluate angiogenesis of rat rings in serum-free medium was investigated in this paper. The aorta rings of Wistar rats were embedded in fibrinogen gel in 48 well plates, and cultured in an optimized serum free medium MCDB131. Results indicated that new capillaries spouted on 4th day, and entered into growth phase from 6th day, and peaked on 13th day and remained unchanged thereafter.

BACKGROUND: Gene chip of expression spectrum is used to make contrastive analysis of the changes of gene expression of histocytes derived from different individuals, tissues, cell cycles, developmental stages, differentiating stages, physiological and pathological status, and stimulating conditions.OBJECTIVE: To investigate gene expression changes of cerebral tissues of mice at different phases after ischemia/reperfusion injury, and screen out and understand genes related to cerebral ischemic/reperfusion injury.DESIGN: A randomized and controlled animal study.SETTING: Laboratory of the Department of Hyperbaric Oxygen, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital University of Medical Sciences;Laboratory of Shanghai Biostar Gene Chip Co., Ltd.MATERIALS: The experiment was performed in the Laboratory of Department of Hyperbaric Oxygen, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital affiliated to Capital University Medical Sciences, and the Laboratory of Shanghai Biostar Gene Chip Co., Ltd. from September 2002 to October 2003. Totally 20 male mice of C57BL/6 species were selected and randomized into 4 groups with 5 in each group: 48-hour and 10-day sham-operation groups and 48-hour and 10-day cerebral ischemia-reperfusion groups.METHODS: The bilateral common carotid arteries of mice in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion group were blocked with clamp for 20 minutes to establish models of cerebral ischemia/perfusion injury. The bilateral common carotid arteries of mice in sham-operation group were separated without clamp. We killed the mice by breaking off their necks at the 48th hour and 10th day after operation. Expression changes of cerebral tissues of mice were detected with BiostarM-20 s gene chip of expression spectrum.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Changes of gene expression of cerebral tissues of mice in each group.RESULTS: A total of 20 mice were involved in the result analysis. ①Differential expression gene in 48-hour sham-operation group and 48-hour cerebral ischemia/reperfusion group showed that the number of up-regulated expression genes was 30. Among them the most obvious up-regulated gene was related to DNA synthesis, repair and transcription. The number of down-regulated expression genes was 119. Among them the most obvious down-regulated gene was protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) gene related to cellular signal and transferrin protein. ② Differential expression gene between 10-day sham-operation group and 10-day cerebral ischemia/reperfusion group showed no up-regulated gene, but 7 down-regulated genes, and the most obvious down-regulated gene was the one that related to cell apoptosis.CONCLUSION: At the 48th hour after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, upregulated gene is the one that related to DNA synthesis, repair and transcription, which is helpful for cerebral tissue repair after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. Genes related to cell signal and transferrin are down-regulated, and can level off barrier of endothelial cells and relieve cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. At the 10th day after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, cell apoptosis-related gene is down-regulated, and can accelerate apoptosis and aggravate injury of cerebral cells, which may be related to delayed neuronal necrosis.

Objective To verify and confirm the optical performance of the Olympus AU5400 Automatic Analyzer is satisfied for the professional requirements.Methods According to the Medical Standard of the People's Republic of China:Automatic chemistry analyzer(YY/T 0654-2008),the Analyzer Modular Ⅰand Ⅱ optical performance were measured to verify the stray light,the ab-sorption accuracy,linear range,stability and repeatability.Results The stray light absorption of tow modular was 4.789 4-5.158 9;The absorption accuracy of potassium dichromate standard solution (1-1)was (-0.002 1--0.024 7),and solution (1-2)was (-0.008 6--0.067 7);The D-value of stability that the highest absorption of standard solution (1-1)minus the lowest was 0.000 5-0.001 5;The CV% of repeatability for standard solution (1-2)was 0.02%-0.04%;Therof absorption linear was 0.999 6-0.999 9. Conclusion The optical performance of Olympus AU5400 Analyzer conforms to the standard of YY/T 0654-2008.

10.Surgical approach to intrahepatic bile ducts: anatomical study and clinical application

Objective To explore a new surgical approach to intrahepatic segmental bile ducts.MethodSurgical anatomic relationships between intrahepatic bile ducts and blood vessels in 30 adult liver specimens were studied.Results Left and right hepatic bile duct lie to the superior anterior board of the left and right trunk of the portal vein; left medial and right anterior segmental duct lie to the anterior medial edge of corresponding portal vein branches. Right posterior segmental duct lies on the visceral side of right anterior portal branches in 73%(22/30). and on the visceral side of posterior right branches in 80%(24/30). Left lateral segmental duct lies in the deep visceral side of sagittal portion of left portal vein in 93%(28/30).A new combined operational routes getting to segmental ducts from both visceral and diaphragmatic faces were designed to treat 38 patients with multiple intrahepatic calculis.Conclusion Combined operational routes from both visceral and diaphragmatic facies can easily expose and cut open intra and extra hepatic ducts and the strictures, removing calculi.
