1.The functional preservation treatment progress of laryngeal cancer and hypopharyngeal cancer
China Oncology 2013;(12):942-948
The management of laryngeal cancer and hypopharyngeal cancer has fundamentally changed over the recent years. The optimum treatment protocols should pay close attention to the survival rate and function preservation. The purpose of this article we aimed to define the prevalence of intervention of laryngeal cancer and hypopharyngeal cancer, such as open operation, CO2 laser and non-invasive treatments, and measures that may facilitate standardization of such practices.
2.Research progress on early diagnosis of gastric cancer with liver matastasis
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;(1):65-66
Gastric cancer is the common malignant tumor of digestive tract, and liver metastasis in patients with advanced gastric carcinoma is the most common cause of death. The early diagnoisis of Liver metastasis of gastric cancer in patients with early diagnosis would help to improve the patient' s quality of life and prognosis.Briefly review the blood, imaging and pathological biopsy method in early diagnosis of liver metastasis of gastric cancer. However it is difficult for this.Researchers over the world should have more exchanges in order to develop guiding principles in the end.
6.Biosafety and biocompatibility of a variety of biological materials
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(38):7559-7562
OBJECTIVE: To discuss the biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials. METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI, CBM and VIP as well as manual search were performed to collect articles about random cell control experiments and animal experiments of biological material biocompatibility published between 1990 and 2008. A total of 28 Chinese literatures were collected, and 7 were included mainly involving the cytotoxicity test methods and blood compatibility of the experimental medium, experimental grouping, experimental materials, methods of observation, experimental results, and experimental conclusion. In addition, biocompatibility of the biological material was analyzed to summarize the biocompatibility of the biological safety. RESULTS: Based on experiments of biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials, the cytotoxicity test and blood compatibility of various biomaterials, such as collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, are essential for the biological safety. The experimental results have shown that the biomaterials have good biocompatibility. CONCLUSION: A variety of biological materials present good biocompatibility, including collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, based on the evaluation criteria.
7.Influence of follow-up intervention on disease control of patients with diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(3):21-23
Objective To discuss the influence of follow-up intervention on disease control of pa-tients with diabetes mellitus. Methods 160 patients who received education about diabetes mellitus were divided into the intervention group and the control group randomly according to the date of dis-charge with 80 patients in each group. The intervention group was given regular follow-up visit (including telephone fol-low-up) which lasted 12 months. The control group received no regular foUow-up.The health behavior,self-management ability and alleviation state of cognition level, fast glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin were com-pared after intervention between the two groups by t test andχ2 test. Results The health behavior,self-management ability and alleviation state of cognition level in the intervention group were better than those of the control group. The blood glucose 6 and 12 months after discharge was higher than that at the time of dis-charge and that of the intervention group at the same time point. The glyeosylated hemoglobin of the interven-tion group was reduced 6 and 12 months after discharge compared with that at the time of dis-charge. Conclusions Out-of-hospital follow-up is an effective method to extend hospital health educa-tion to patients' home. It can instruct and supervise the patients to assume the responsibility of subsequent targets control,so it plays a positive role in the blood glucose control, improvement of life quality and promo-tion of psychological and physical health. It is worthy of wide popularization.
8.Advances in drug treatment of acromegaly
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2015;(11):185-188
Acromegaly is mostly caused by a pituitary adenoma secreting growth hormone ( GH ) , which leads to a wide range of endocrine morbidities, with an insidious onset and slow progression.A long-term overproduction of GH results in elevated insulin-like growth factor-1 ( IGF-1 ) level, which in turn, would cause target organ damage and an increased risk for mortality and decreased quality of life.Herein, the literature regarding the progress of drug therapy for acromegaly in recent five years is reviewed.
9.A Correlative Study on Ethics Morality, Society, Psychological Cognition with Health and Disease
Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(2):226-228
Objective:To study the correlations between ethics morality, society, psychological cognition and health and disease. Methods:A total of 356 patients were selected to analyze the influence to health and disease from six perspectives that included family ethics, social morality, life style, interpersonal relationship, mental health, and personality traits. Result:Psychosomatic diseases were occurred in 126 cases, and 220 cases of neuro-sis diseases. The disease incidences in the subjects with high cognitive level were significantly lower than those with low cognitive level (P<0. 01). The cognitive levels of family ethics, social ethics, life style, interpersonal rela-tionship, and mental health were closely related to health and disease (P<0. 05). Conclusion:The cognitive lev-els of ethics morality, society, psychology were closely associated with disease. It should be vigorously advocated that the whole society follow the ethics morality standards, to prevent diseases.
10.Effect of Electroacupuncture at Bilateral Points Quchi on Blood Pressure Variability in Hypertensive Disease Patients
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(11):1059-1061
Objective To investigate the effect of electroacupuncture at bilateral points Quchi on blood pressure variability in hypertensive disease patients. Methods One hundred and two patients were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 51 cases each. Methods The treatment group received electroacupuncture at bilateral points Quchi and the control group, no treatment as a blank control. Twenty-four-hour dynamic blood pressure and blood pressure variability were observed in the two groups of patients. Results There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in 24-hour systolic pressure standard deviation (24 hSSD), daytime systolic pressure standard deviation (dSSD) and night systolic pressure standard deviation (nSSD) between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05). There were no statistically significant post-treatment differences in 24-hour diastolic pressure standard deviation (24 hDSD), daytime diastolic pressure standard deviation (dDSD) and night diastolic pressure standard deviation (nDSD) between the treatment and control groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture at bilateral points Quchi can reduce systolic pressure variability in hypertensive disease patients.
