Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To observe the effect of nerve growth factor(NGF) on Caspase-3 expression in hippocampus of epileptic rats induced by kainic acid(KA) and explore the protective effect and mechanisms of NGF on the epileptic neurocytes. Methods Sixty healthy rats aged 21 to 30 days were randomly divided into 3 groups, each of which included 20 rats.Rats in group A were treated with 9 g?L-1 sodium, rats in group B were treated with KA,rats in group C were treated with KA and NGF.Concentration of KA was 2 g?L-1 diluted by 9 g?L-1 sodium;KA was injected into rats in group B and group C,intraperitoneally. Then state of seizure was recorded, and EEG and pathological section were performed.Five rats in each group were sacrificed by perfusion with paraform respectively at 6 hour,on the 1st day,on the 3rd day after injection of KA.Specimen was sampled and made into frozen section.Expression of Caspase-3 in hippocampus of epileptic rats was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. And microscope image measuring and analysis instrument was used to analyze image of expression. Results Symptoms of seizure appeared 30 min after injection of KA.Seizure was proved by detection of EEG and pathological section.Expressions of Caspase-3 detected by immunohistochemistry in group C decreased at every time spot were higher than those in group B,and the defferences between 2 groups had statistically significant(Pa

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2008;30(5):353-355
Objective To observe the functions of far-infrared rays and negative ions in Tourmaline and explore its new healthcare usage. Methods Questionnaires were adopted to obtain changes of diabetic patients in terms of dyskinesia, dysreflexia, abnormal skin and muscle, kinesthesis, touch sensation, algesia, and temperature sensation after using Tourmaline bedding series. Results Diabetic patients in fight and moderate level get improvements after using the series for one year, although the patient in fight level get outstanding improvements. Data showed the shorter therapeutic courses the better therapeutic effects were obtained and the improvements highlighted the changes of pain, ferver, hypesthesia, numbness, hight attack symptoms, and motion abnormality. Motion abnormality, algesia, and temperature sensation are three sensitive indexes of this disease. Conclusion Tourmaline bedding series has the function of improving peripheral neuropathy, which may be related with Tourmaline producing far-infrared rays and negative ions.

Objective To investigate the effect of somatostatin on pancreatic blood flow and pancreatic function on the patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods 120 patients with acute pancreatitis from March 2015 to March 2017 were collected, and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group were given routine treatment, at the basis of this, the observation group were given somatostatin.octreotide 0.6 mg was dripped into intravenous continuously, and was reducted to 0.3 mg, continuous treatment for 7 d.The changes of blood flow and the curative effect of pancreas were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate was 96.67%(58/60)in the treatment group and 80.00%(48/60)in the control group. The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in blood flow(BF), blood volume(BV)and capillary surface permeability(PS)between the two groups before treatment.1 and 7 days after treatment, BF, BV in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the levels of PS were significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, the differences of(CP), insulin(INS), glucagon(GLU), serum lipase(LIP), amylase(AMY)and trypsinogen-2(TPS)were measured in the two groups were not statistically significant.1 and 7 days after treatment, CP and INS in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and GLU, LIP, AMY and TPS-2 were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion It has a protective effect on pancreatic blood flow and function which somatostatin was used in the treatment of the patients with acute pancreatitis, it can improve the overall state of pancreas, and has significant therapeutic effect.

Objective To investigate the genetic polym orphism s of 21 autosom al STR loci of Fujian H an population and evaluate the forensic application value of GlobalFilerTM E xpress kit. Methods A m plified w ith GlobalFilerTM E xpress kit, DNA sam ples were obtained from 741 unrelated individuals of Fujian H an population. The population genetics param eters of 21 autosom al STR loci were calculated. Results The 21 autosom al STR loci were found to be no deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibration (P>0.05) and relatively abundant in high polym orphism . H eterozygosity ranged from 0.589 to 0.914, pow er of dis-crim ination ranged from 0.754 to 0.992, polym orphic inform ation content ranged from 0.520 to 0.940, and pow er of exclusion ranged from 0.278 to 0.825. The SE33 locus was the highest degree in poly-m orphism . Conclusion The 21 STR loci of GlobalFilerTM E xpress kit have high value in discrim ination pow er and can be useful in personal identification and paternity test in Fujian H an population.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(6):815-822
Objective:To evaluate the clinical outcome of all-ceramic and metal-ceramic restorations by means of Meta-analysis. Methods:The relevant randomized controlled trials ( RCTs) were electronically searched from PubMed, the Cochrane Library, EM-base, SinoMed, Weipu databases, CNKI and Wanfang. After data extraction and bias evaluation the Meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5. 3 software. Results:Finally 15 RCTs involving 768 all-ceramic restorations and 1386 Metal-ceramic restorations met the eli-gibility criteria. The results showed that, compared with metal-ceramic restorations, all-ceramic restorations could significantly decrease the risk of gingivitis(RR=0. 30,95%CI=0. 10-0. 90, P=0. 03),could decrease secondary caries and improve the satisfaction of cervical discoloration and marginal adaptation but without significant difference. There was no difference in color match and chipping of the veneering ceramics. However, all-ceramic restorations may lead to loss of the abutment tooth vitality. The risk of all-ceramic frame-work fracture while adopting fixed bridges was significantly higher(RR=6. 24, 95%CI=1. 20 -32. 41, P=0. 03). Conclusion:Based on the existing limited evidence, the efficacy of all-ceramic restorations is better than metal-ceramic restorations. But the intensity of all-ceramic bridges needs to be improved.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2014;30(12):926-929
Objective To learn the current anesthesiologists deployment at the hospital, and to figure out how to measure anesthesiologists deployment. Methods Existing data and expert consultation were used to obtain various indicators, and the current anesthesiologists deployment was analyzed, calculating with the formula the needed number of anesthesiologists. Results Despite the rising demand and resource utilization, anesthesiologists were found in obvious shortage at the hospital. The number of anesthesiologists needed was calculated as 101.4,with a vacancy of 11.4.Conclusion The national health authorities were recommended to revise the standard of anesthesiologists deployment at hospitals.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(19):3870-3872
Professor LU Zhi-zheng, one of the first traditional Chinese medicine masters, is good at using tenuifoliain clinical practice, which often brings unexpected surprises. Lu said, tenuifolia is a mild herbal medicine with the nature of upward dispersion and outward penetration but not dryness. Tenuifolia has the following functions: making people conscious, relieving sore throat, diverging incubated diseases, regulating functional activities of qi, sending up Yang, dispelling wind evil and eliminating dampness, and activating collaterals to relieve pain. When well used, it will not only enhance the effect of monarch drug, but also restrict the impetuosity nature in a prescription, achieving better efficacy.
