Objective To know the application effects of two different hand prepping by avagard before the operation.Methods Divided operation-actors into the experimental group (121 cases) and the control group (116 cases)randomly.Kneading hand prepping by 9200 and 9230 avagard was used in the experimental group, while the brushing by 9241- D and 9250 was used in the control group.Compared the effects between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference about disinfection effects between the two groups, while the compliance of kneading hand prepping was more better than the other hand prepping method.Condusions Kneading hand prepping by avagard 9200 should be used before surgical operation.

Objective To explore the effects of aerobic exercise and resistance training on center arterial blood pressure.Methods Fifteen healthy men who had not practiced aerobic exercise or resistance training within the previous 6 months were enrolled in this study.A self-matched pairs design was adopted.All of the subjects performed moderate intensity aerobic exercise,for 30 min initially,and after 2 weeks,performed resistance training at 60％ of their l-repeat maximum effort (1-RM).Their central aortic systolic blood pressure (CSBP) before and after aerobic exercise and resistance training were measured and compared,respectively.The changes in CSBP and an augmentation index (AI) of radial artery and relative blood pressure were compared between the two interventions.Results CSBP decreased significantly after both sorts of training.The two types of training showed no significant difference in their effects on CSBP.However,after a 20 min recovery,systolic blood pressure and pulse pressure were significantly lower after aerobic exercise than after resistance training.The significant difference persisted after 20 min and 40 min of re-covery.The AI of the radial artery was also significantly lower 5 min after aerobic exercise than after resistance train-ing.Conclusions After moderate aerobic exercise and resistance training,CBSP,AI and systolic pressure all display favorable changes.However,moderate intensity aerobic exercise provides the better effect in improving blood pressure.

Surface tension(in terms of hysteresis), lecithin content, PaO2 and lung water content of both bronchial irrigation fluid and lung homogenates were determined after severe inhalation injury in rabbits. In accompany with the decrease of PaO2 and increase of lung water content, there was a remarkable dropping of pulmonary surfactant content as illustrated by progressive increase of surface tension and decrease of lecithin content in both bronchial irrigation fluid and lung homogenate. It was proposed that dropping of pulmonary surfactant played an important role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary edema after inhalation injury. Therefore, successive determinations of lecithin content or and surface tension of bronchial irrigation fluid might serve as an early diagnosis as well as a pro-gnostis aid in severe inhalation injuries.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effect of Ziyin Huoxue Granule (ZHG) combined glucocorticoids and antibiotics in treatment of radiation pneumonitis.

METHODSTotally 70 radiation pneumonitis patients were assigned to the treatment group and the control group according to random digit table, 35 in each group. All patients received glucocorticoids and antibiotics. Patients in the treatment group additionally took ZHG, one dose per day for 4 successive weeks. Watters clinical-radiologic-physiologic (CRP) score, Karnofsky Performance Status Scale (KPS) , and acute radiation injury classification [set by Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG)] were observed in the two groups before and after treatment. The application time for antibiotics and glucocorticoids was compared between the two groups.

RESULTSAll patients completed this trial, and nobody dropped out or died. There was no statistical difference in Watters-CRP scores, KPS, or RTOG between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). Compared with before treatment in the same group, RTOG classification was obviously improved in the two groups (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, Watters-CRP scores decreased, KPS increased, the application time for antibiotics and glucocorticoids was reduced (P < 0.05). The efficacy of RTOG classification was better in the treatment group than in the control group, but with no statistical difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONZHG combined glucocorticoids and antibiotics was superior in treating radiation pneumonitis to using glucocorticoids or antibiotics alone in elevating Watters-CRP scores, shortening the application time for glucocorticoids and antibiotics, and improving patients' physical conditions.

Abstract: Objective To investigate the dynamic changes and clinical significance of specific antibodies in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods A retrospective study was conducted to collect 141 adult COVID-19 survivors who were followed up in the Eighth Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University from February 6, 2020, to March 24, 2021. The patients were divided into severe group (severe and critical) and non-severe group (light and ordinary) according to the diagnosis at discharge. The antibody changes of the two groups were compared and analyzed at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year after discharge. Results After discharge from hospital, the positive rate of IgG in the severe group was 95.00% after 1 week and 100.00% in the following year, in the positive rate of IgG in the non-severe group was 59.50% after 1 week, 90.08% in 6 months and 76.03% in one year. The level of serum IgG in the severe group was significantly higher than that in non-severe group (Z=-2.441, P=0.015). One-year follow-up: the serum IgG in the severe group was significantly higher than that in the non-severe group (Z=-3.410, P=0.001). The serum IgM level of the severe group after one year follow-up was lower than that of the six months follow-up, the difference was statistically significant (Z=-2.259, P=0.024). The serum IgG and IgM level of the non-severe group after one year follow-up was lower than that of the six months follow-up, the difference was statistically significant (Z=-7.37, P<0.01; Z=3.850, P<0.01). Conclusion The level of serum protective antibody in COVID-19 patients remained high within 6 months after discharge, and remained stable within 1 year after discharge. The antibody titers in the severe group were significantly higher than those in the non-severe group and lasted for at least one year. COVID-19 survivors receive 1 year of natural immune protection, and patients with critical conditions receive immunity for longer periods of time.

Objective To investigate the proliferation characteristics of fibroblast like synovial cells (FLS)in osteoarthritis in vitro and the mechanism of the immnnosuppressive effect of T-614 [N-(3-formy- lamino-4-oxo-6-phenoxy-4H-chromen-7-yl)methanesulfonamide ] on them.Methods FLS of OA and non- inflamed synovium(NS)were cultured and identified in vitro in the presence or absence of T-614.After incu- bation,the survival fraction(SF)of FLS was evaluated by MTT,cell cycle was observed using fluorescence - activated cell sorting(FCS)method and the expression of c-fos and COX-2 mRNA was examined by RT- PCR in FLS of OA patients.Results No statistically significant difference was noted between the OA and NS FLS in proliferation ability and cell cycle.High dose T-614 suppressed FLS SF obviously in OA and NS sta- tistically(P＜0.05),whereas the inhibition degree was not different between the two kinds of FLS.The agent induced cell apoptosis and reduced the accumulation of c-fos mRNA in OA-FLS at dose 1000 ml/L,prolonged G_1 term and shortened S term at dose 200 ml/L.The expression of COX-2 mRNA in OA FLS was suppressed obviously by T-614 at dose 1000 ml/L.Conclusion OA FLS do not display a distinct activated unlimited viability compared with NS cells,without stimulated by proinflammatory cytokine in vitro.High dose T-614 moderately inhibits the proliferation and differentiation of FLS,directly affects gene of the c-fos and COX-2 expression in OA,which may contribute to its immunosuppressive effect on OA'synovitis.

Objective To investigate the proliferative characteristics of fibroblast-like synovial cells (FLS)in osteoarthritis in vitro and the mechanism of the immunosuppressive effect of total glucusides of paeony(TGP).Methods FLS of OA and non-inflamed synovium(NS)were cultured and identified in vitro in the presence or absence of TGP.After incubation,the survival fraction(SF)of FLS was evaluated by MTI' and the TNF-?,IFN-?and bFGF level in cultured FLS supernatant was measured by ELISA.The expression of FLS c-los mRNA and cell cycle of OA-FLS was observed by RT-PCR and flow eytometry respectively at the same time.Results No statistical significant differences were noted between the OA and NS FLS in pro- liferating double time.High doses of TGP suppressed FLS-SF more evidently in OA patients than in NS(P0.05).Conclusion High dose TGP can inhibit OA-FLS proliferation,modulate cy- tokine secretion and c-fos expression in OA.This suggests that TGP has immunosuppressive effect on OA syn- ovitis,probably by preventing the synovial hypertrophy in OA.

Objective To study the relationship between biofilm-forming ability,distribution of quorum sensing related genes and antibiotic resistance in clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Methods The biofilm-forming ability of 94 clinical isolates was analyzed semi-quantitatively by crystal violet staining.The antibiotic resistance of the isolates was determined by K-B method.Quorum sensing related genes,lasI,lasR,rhlR and rhlI,were detected by PCR.The diffe,rences of drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa with different biofilm-forming ability and the effects of quorum sensing related genes on biofilm-forming ability were analyzed.Results Of the 94 isolates,89(94.7％) showed biofilm-forming ability.The 89 isolates consisted of 22(23.4％) isolates with weakly positive biofilm-forming ability,44 (46.8 ％) with positive biofilm-forming ability and 23 (24.5 ％) with strongly positive biofilm-forming ability.The strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa with different biofilm-forming ability showed different drug resistance rates to amikacin,tobramycin and gentamicin (P ＜ 0.05).The drug resistance rate of the strains with strong positive biofilm-forming ability to amikacin was higher than that of the strains with positive and weakly positive biofilm-forming ability(P ＜ 0.05),and the drug resistance rates to tobramycin and gentamicin were higher than those of the strains with weakly positive biofilm-forming ability(P ＜ 0.05).Of the 94 isolates,91 strains carried lasI,lasR,rhlI and rhlR gene and 2 strains only lost lasR gene,and 1 strain lost all the 4 genes.The strains with only lasR gene deficiency or all the lasI,lasR,rhlI and rhlR gene deficiencies showed negative biofilm-forming ability,and were sensitive to conventional antimicrobial agents.Conclusion Most of the clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in this study showed strong ability of biofilm-forming ability which may correlate positively to partial antibiotic resistance.The quorum sensing related genes may affect biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Objective To explore the problems and solving countermeasures in application of nursing vertical management,and provide references for nursing post management reform.Methods Through purposive sampling method,nursing administers,clinical nurses,heads of clinical departments and performance directors from five hospitals were interviewed by semi-structured interview method.Data were analyzed using 7-step Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method.Results Four themes were formed about the problems in application of nursing vertical management,including:affecting department management and doctor-nurse collaboration,insufficient scientificity and fairness of performance evaluation,significant issues regarding post setting of senior nurses,competence and sense of belonging of temporarily deployed nurses.Four themes were formed about the solving countermeasures in application of nursing vertical management,including:improving participation of clinical departments in nursing management,making performance system to public and asking advices of nurses,providing career development for senior nurses,and conducting standardized training and establishing reserve nurses tank.Conclusion The main problems in application of nursing vertical management consisted of affecting department management and doctor-nurse collaboration,insufficient scientificity and fairness of performance evaluation,post setting of senior nurses,and competence and sense of belonging of temporarily deployed nurses.We suggested to better apply nursing vertical management by improving participation of clinical department in nursing management,making performance system to public and asking advices of nurses,providing career development for senior nurses,and conducting standardized training and establishing reserve nurses tank.
