OBJECTIVE: To study the bacteriostatic action of Yiqing capsule against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis in vitro.METHODS: Propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were cultured by microplating method and routine plating, and the bacteriostatic action of different concentration of Yiqing capsule and its main components against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were determined by measuring their MICs.RESULTS: The MICs of Yiqing capsule and Scutellaria baicalensis extractum against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were 0.98 mg?mL-1 and 1 mg?mL-1,respectively,whereas the MICs of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei and Rhizoma Coptidis Scutellaria extractum against propionibacterium acnes and staphylococcus epidermidis were 1.96 mg?mL-1 and 1 mg?mL-1,respectively.CONCLUSION: Yiqing capsule showed satisfactory bacteriostatic action against the major pathogenic bacteria of acne.

BACKGROUND:Thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor is an autoantigen shared by thyroid follicuar cells and ocular orbital tissues, and cytokines plays an important role on the pathogenesis of Graves ophthalmopathy(GO) . It is still a puzzle that the relation of cytokines and thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor in the pathogenesis of GO. OBJECTIVE:To study the influence of various cytokines on the expression of thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor in the process of adipogenesis of in vitro cultured orbital adipose cells in GO patients. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A single sample observation was carried out in the Central Laboratory,Department of Ophthalmology,Sun Yat-sen University(Guangzhou,Guangdong,Province) from September 2003 to March 2004. MATERIALS:Orbital adipose cells were obtained from eight serious GO patients undergoing orbital decompression. Recombinant human interleukin 2(IL-2) ,IL-4,IL-6,IL-10,and interferon ?(IFN-?) were purchased from PEORO TECH EC Company. METHODS:Orbital adipose cells were cultured and treated by groups. IL-2,IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 and IFN-? was added to the culture media in the experimental group, while no any cytokine was given in the untreated group, and orbital adipose cells were primarily cultured in the control group. The cells were all collected twelve days later. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The expression of thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor was examined with reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction, and the content of cyclic adenosine monophosphate was measured with simultaneous radioimmunoassay. The quantitation of adipose in cells was detected by staining intracytoplasmic lipids with oil red O. RESULTS:The expression of thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor was significantly higher in cells treated with IL-2,IL-4,IL-6 and IL-10 than that in the untreated cells and in the cells treated with IFN-?. Treatment of GO orbital adipose cells with IL-2,IL-4,IL-6 and IL-10 during differentiation resulted in significantly greater cyclic adenosine monophosphate production by different degrees. The highest production achieved in the treatment with IL-6,which was two times as many as control group. The cyclic adenosine monophosphate production was significantly lower in the cells treated with IFN-? than in the untreated cells. CONCLUSION:IL-6,IL-4 and IL-10 can upregulate the expression of thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor in the orbital adipose cells of GO patients, and stimulate adipose differentiation. Conversely,IFN-? can restrain this process.

To combine "the rule of military medical measurement" with the current situation of medical treatment quality control, the foundation, important component and necessary condition of medical treatment quality control was described. Some idiographic advices of intercoordination and communication in medical measurement institution, the direction and training of special technique, and how to develop compulsion coerciveness checking in base course were given. These are valuable for insuring medical treatment facility in hospital.

Objective To summarize the experience of ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrostomy during percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL) under B-ultrasound guidance. Methods A ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrostomy was performed in 43 cases by using a 18-gauge needle. Then the percutaneous puncture was expanded for establishing a working tunnel. Under nephroscope, stone fragmentation was completed in the renal pelvis and the upper segment of the ureter. Results The success rate of percutaneous puncture was 100%.Of the 43 cases, the percutaneous working tunnel was successfully established in 42 cases(97.7%),while a conversion to open surgery was needed in 1 case because of uncontrolled hemorrhage after puncture. The overall stone clearance rate was 100%(42/42),including 38 cases of stone removal on one session and 4 cases of two-staged clearance. No serious complications, such as massive hemorrhage or neighboring organ injuries, were encountered.Re-examinations with B-ultrasonography or KUB at 1 month after operation showed no residual stones. Conclusions Ultrasound-guided percutaneous nephrostomy is minimally invasive, safe, and reliable.Proper use of this technique is crucial for a successful performance of percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the treatment of upper urinary tract calculus.

Objective To observe the difference of FKBP-12 expression level between in Alzheimer's disease model mice's brains and in control mice's brains. Methods Taking the Senescence Accelerated Mouse imported from Japan(SAM-P/8)as the Alzheimer's disease model mouse, and SAM-R/1 mouse as control, observe the distribution difference of FKBP-12 between in Alzheimer's disease model mice's brains and in control mice's brains both in mRNA level and in protein level with the methods of RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry staining. The mice were divided into four groups of 4,6,8,10 months old. Results There was no distribution difference of FKBP-12 between in Alzheimer's disease model mice's brains and in control mice's brains both in mRNA level and in protein level. Conclusion FKBP-12 probably has no relativity with the accelerated aging process of the Alzheimer's disease model mice imported from Japan.
9.Nursing of skin flaps after 72 hours' transplantation of femoral skin flap for repairing soft tissue defect in lower extremity
Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(5):17-20
Objective To summarize the strategies for nursing of skin flaps after 72 hours' transplantation of femoral skin flap for repairing soft tissue defect in lower extremity.Method One hundred and sixty trauma patients with lower extremity soft tissue defect underwent transplantation of femoral skin flap for repairing. The skin flaps were nursed within 72h after transplantation. Results The skins flaps in 160 patients receiving to repair tissue defect of lower limbs all survived.Within 72 hours after operation, 12 patients suffered from vascular crisis, which were cured after pertinent treatment. Conclusions For the patients receiving to repair tissue defect, the skin flaps should be carefully nursed. Meanwhile, preoperative psychological nursing, postoperative pain nursing and health education are critical for the survival of skin flaps.

0.05). The positive rate of MSI in UC with dysplasia was significantly higher than that in UC (P0.05). The loss of hMSH2 protein expression was not found in UC with dysplasia and UCACRC. Conclusions Both the mutations of P53, K-ras genes and MSI are early events in UCACRC. There is no relationship between MSI and loss of hMSH2 protein expression in (UCACRC).
