Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
A study on the optimal dilution of serum to detect anti HBc-IgM with ELISA. was carried out. Samples were diluted to 10-1to 10-7. Among 26 samples of normal individuals, 22 were negative, but two samples of 10-1 dilution, one sample of 10-2, and one sample of 10-1-10-3 were positive though the control wells were all negative. 42 samples of the patients with variours types of hepatitis B were examined. It was found that when serum dilution was 10-1, only 6 cases were positive; when the dilution was 10-2, 20 cases were positive; when the dilutions were 10-3, 5?10-3, and 10-4, high positive rates were obtained and they were 88.1%, 78.5%, and 69% respectively; and when the samples were further diluted, the positive rate decreased. In order to get goodfresults and minimize false results, either false negative or false positive, it is suggested that 5?10-3 be the optimal dilution.

Objective To investigate the changes of disease activity and clinical significance in the course of treatment in patients with SLE.Method 286 cases of SLE were reviewed and compared the changes of SLEDAI scores in different disease duration. Results The SLEDAI scores of patients whose first treatment courses less than 1 month and 1 to 3 months were significantly lower than those patients whose were 4 to 6 months and more than 6 months. After treatment for 2 months to 3 years, the SLEDAI scores were not correlated with cumulated dosage of corticosteroids. Conclusions For the patients of short first treatment course, the treatment could relieve SLE disease activity rapidly and effectively to some extent; while for the patients whose first treatment courses were relatively long ,the relif of disease activity was relatively slow. After treatment for 2 to 3 months, the disease of SLE patients was more active than other periods, and it was inclined to produce visceral damage. As mentioned above ,we should pay attention to this phenomenon.

Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on improving the compliance of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation. Methods Forty-five patients hospitalized in the first half of the year were assigned as control group and another 45 patients hospitalized in the second half of the year were as experiment group. The control group was treated with traditional nursing methods. In the experiment group, a nursing panel was set up to analyze the causes of noncompliance of COPD patients with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation and gave care to the patients based on the analyses. The two groups were compared in terms of adverse reactions and the compliance with treatment. Result The rates of compliance with treatment and adverse reactions such as fear and anxiety , the man-machine confrontation and flatulence in the experiment group were significantly lower than those of the control group obviously (P<0.05). Conclusion The evidence-based nursing can reduce the incidence of adverse reactions , and enhance the compliance of COPD patients with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation effectively.

International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(3):157-159
Objective To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of the solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas(SPTP). Methods Six consecutive cases operated in our hospital from Aug. 2008 to Apr. 2010were reviewed. Results Those cases aged ranging from 17 to 31 years, with an average age of 21.8 years. The maximal dimension of tumor ranged from 6.6 to 13.0 cm, averaging 8.2 cm. Those tumors originated from pancreatic head (2), and body or tail (4). Abdominal B-ultrasound or CT scan examination disclosed that pancreas had solid-cystic mass in 4 cases, and the other two had solidmass. All tumors were resected completely and defined pathologically. We performed 5 open operations, including pancreaticoduodenectomy (2 cases), spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy (2 cases) and distal pancreatectomy plus splenectomy (1 case). One case underwent laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy plus splenectomy. Conclusions The young females are more likely suffered from the SPTP than others, which usually has a clear boundary and large volume. The abdominal B-ultrasound and CT scan are important diagnostic methods. The surgical modality of pancreatectomy is dependent on the tumor's location and extent, furthermore the resectability of SPTP is high. It is possible to perform a spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy for tumors located in pancreatic body or tail.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(9):698-702
Objective To explore the effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) on viral myositis in mice. Methods Four-week-old BALB/C male mice were randomly divided into normal control group, myocarditis group, and BMSCs intervention group at different stages (3 days and 2 weeks). The mouse model of viral myocarditis was established by intraperitoneal injection of Coxsackie virus B3. The mice in the intervention group were injected with BMSCs in the tail vein at 3 days and 2nd week after the injection of the virus. Four weeks later, echocardiography was performed, and the pathological integral and collagen volume fraction (CVF) were observed and calculated by light microscopy. The qRT-PCR method was used to detect the mRNA expression of homogenates collagen I (col1α1) and collagen fiber III (col3α1) in myocardial tissue. Results Compared with the normal control group, the left anterior and posterior wall became thinner, the diameter and volume of the left ventricle at end systolic period was increased; left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and short axis shortening rate (FS) decreased in the myocarditis group. The differences were statistically significant (P all<0.05). The LVEF and FS in each subgroup of the intervention group were better than those of the myocarditis group, and the improvement in the intervention group was more obvious at the 2nd week after the treatment of the myocarditis. The differences were significant (P all<0.05). Light microscope showed that myocardial CVF in myocarditis group was higher than in normal control group, and CVF in intervention group was reduced compared with myocarditis group and CVF in the 2nd week intervention group was lower than that in the 3 day intervention group. The differences were significant (P all<0.05). Compared with the control group, the mRNA expressions of col1α1 and col3α1 in the myocarditis group were increased, and they were lower in the intervention group than in the myocarditis group, and the differences were significant (P all<0.05). Conclusions BMSCs can reduce the degree of cardiac fibrosis and improve cardiac function in mice with viral myositis, and the intervention effect is better when the virus is infected in the 2nd week.
