Objective To observe the effect of aminoguanidine by intraperitoneal injection on apoptosis of chondrocyte with osteoarthritis.Methods Totally 32 rabbits were divided into 3 groups at random.Both the experiment and the model groups were fixed by plaster cast in the right hind straighten limb,while the control group received no treatment.The experiment groups were injected with aminoguanidine in abdominal cavity,100mg/(kg?d),and the control groups were injected the same voluminal normal saline in abdominal cavity.At the 4th week,we killed 4 rabbits from the normal group,and 6 from the control group and the experiment group,respectively.At the 8th week,we put the rest to death.We drew the materials from each sample for pathological observation on the whole and under the light microscope by HE and immunohistochemical staining,and counted apoptosis cells by TUNEL for statistical analysis.Results Compared with the control group,the experiment group was more similar to the normal group in general observation and optical microscope observation by HE staining.Both iNOS positive expression cell by immunohistochemical staining and apoptosis cell calculation by TUNEL of the experiment group were fewer than those of the control group(P

Objective To explore the feasibility of establishing the model of chronic blliary(pancreatitis) by incompletely ligaturing common bile duct.Methods Fifty Wistar rats were randomly(divided) into three groups: control group,experimental control group and model group.The rats in model group were exposed the root of common bile duct to enter duodenum using the dissolubility bowel line to ligating a needle with common bile duct,then drew out the needle,closing the abdominal cavity.The rats in experiment control group were opened the abdominal cavity and dissociated common bile duct,then closing the abdominal cavity.Results Compared with control group,the serum bilirubin and(amylase) of blood in model group were increased in 3 days and 14 days respectively and fibrotic(proliferation) of pancreatic tissues were found in 30 days.In model group,23% of rats developed(pancreatic) pseudocyst.Conclusions Incompletely ligating the common bile duct of Wistar rats could(induce) chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic fibrosis in 30 days.Strictures of common biliary duct may play a key role in chronic biliary pancreatitis.

Background and purpose:Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor in the children and young adults. Until now, there is no prognostic indicator with high speciifcity and high sensitivity. This study investigated the relationship between miR-92a level in palsma and clinical pathological characteristics, as well as the prognosis in osteosarcoma.Methods:The plasma from 30 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination and from 45 cases of osteosarcoma before and after operation were collected. The miR-92a level was detected by real-time lfuorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RTFQ-PCR) method. According to the relative expression≥5 of miR-92a, the osteosarcoma patients were divided into 2 groups: miR-92a high expression group and low expression group.Results:The miR-92a level in palsma from osteosarcoma is signiifcantly higer than that from healthy volunteers. Before surgery, the miR-92a level was markedly higher than after surgery. There was no correlation between the miR-92a level and the gender, age, tumor location, tumor size and histological type. However, signiifcant correlation was found with Enneking grade, tumor cell necrosis rate and lung metastasis. Compared with the low-expression group, high miR-92a expression was associated with a signiifcantly shorter overall survival using Kaplan-Meier analysis (P=0.035). Conclusion:The results suggest a signiifcant relationship between miR-92a and survival ratio. miR-92a expression level may be a useful prognostic indicator in osteosarcoma.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological and prognosis features of enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma (EATL).Methods 21 cases of EATL,6 cases of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) and 11 cases of natural-killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL) were collected from January 2008 to May 2015.The immunophenotype of the tumor cell was tested by EnVision and as well as EBV-EBER for EB virus.Some patients were performed with follow-up data.Results 21 EATL patients included 14 males,7 females and the middle age was 55 years old (40-79 years old).15 patients affected the small bowel,4 cases affected colon,2 cases affected more than one site.18 cases were mono-morpholohic EATL while 3 cases were classical EATL.The expression rates of neoplastic cells for CD3ε,CD4,CD8,CD56,Granzyme B,TIA-1 were 95.24 ％ (20/21),20.00 ％ (3/15),73.68 ％ (14/19),85.71％ (18/21),64.71％ (11/17),88.89 ％ (16/18) respectively.The expression of EBER in EATL patients (0,0/21) was obviously lower than that in NKTCL patients (100 ％,11/11).17 EATL patients had follow-up data,and the middle survival time was 15 months.No different prognosis was found in the three kinds of T-NHL (P =0.697).Conclusions EATL usually occurs in elder male and jejunum.The diagnosis of EATL needs a lot of information,including clinical history,endoscopy,histomorphology,immunophenotype and EBV-EBER result.EATL has low mobidity and high malignancy,it still lacks impactful therapeutic regimen.

Objective Through the investigation and analysis to "Chinese Medical Digest" and its relative periodicals to get a general idea of the survival and situation of these periodicals and to establish the pattern for their survival and development. Methods Such methods as telephone consultation, questionnaire survey, interview, and conference discussion were adopted to collect the relative information of medical digest periodicals and thus an analysis was made upon it. Results There were 18 kinds of "Chinese Medical Digest" periodicals originally. Of all these 18 kinds of the periodicals, 6 kinds are still publishing, 10 kinds have transferred its nature to first-hand literature periodical, and 2 kinds have ceased their publishment. Conclusion As a result of the computer, the network and the full text database development, the survival of medical digest periodicals are endangered. However, regarding to the different domain of subject, different reforming measures should be taken.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of double-lumen balloon catheter applied in patients with achalasia of cricopharyngeal muscle. Method Fifty patients with achalasia of cricopharyngeal muscle were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. All the patients received routine drug treatment,swallowing function training,feeding training and low frequency VitalStim electric stimulation. In addition,double-lumen balloon catheter and #14 urinary catheters were applied to patients in the experimental group and control group,respectively. The swallow water tests and video fluoroscopy swallowing study(VFSS) were used to evaluate the treatment effects,the electron-nasopharyngolaryngoscope was used to assess bleeding and swelling of mucous membrane,and VRS-5 was used to assess pain. Result After treatment,the scores of swallow water tests and VFSS were significantly better than those before treatment in both groups(P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). However,the incidence of complications was significantly higher in the control group than that of experimental group(P<0.05). Conclusion Both treatment methods can effectively relieve the achalasia of cricopharyngeal muscle,but modified double-lumen balloon catheter can reduce the incidence of complications.

Objective To study the therapeutic mechanism of Polygonum cuspidatum extract on the gouty arthritis induced by monosodium urate (MSU). Method Acute gouty arthritis rats model was induced by MSU. Twelve hours after modeling,the positive expression area and integral optical density of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and nuclear factor-?B p65 protein (NF-?Bp65) in synovial membrane were observed by immunohistochemical assay. The effect of Polygonum cuspidatum extract on ICAM-1 and NF-?Bp65 was observed. Results There existed less expression of ICAM-1 and NF-?B p65 protein on synovial membrane in the normal group,and their expression was much increased in the model group. Polygonum cuspidatum extract in the dose of 360 mg/kg significantly reduced the positive expression area and integral optical density of ICAM-1 and NF-?Bp65 protein. Conclusion Polygonum cuspidatum extract can inhibit the abnormal expression and activation of ICAM-1 and NF-?Bp65 in synovial tissue,which may be an important therapeutic and preventive mechanism for gouty arthritis.

Objective To study the comprehensive quality of pre-hospital care of patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in our country,and the factors affecting the efficiency of medical intervention of pre-hospital care.Methods An epidemiological investigation with target population-based cross-sectional study was carried out,and specifically designed questionnaire for determining the efficiency of pre-hospital care of patients with ACS was used to collect information of 272 patients from 13 emergency pre-hospital care centers.Results After analysis of the data from 13 majormedical centers,it could be classified into 4 patterns of pre-hospital care,namely directive pattern,pre-hospital pattern,dependent pattern and independent pattern.The results of analysis showed that the distance for ambulance driving in directive pattern was shorter than that in dependent pattern,but the call-response in directive pattern was quicker than that in pre-hospital pattern and dependent pattern,while the call-arrival time in directive pattern was longer than that in independent pattern and dependent pattern.The analysis of the on-site preliminary treatment in four patterns of pre-hospital care showed that there were differences in the establishment of intravenous access,aspirin,nitrate and ECG ( P ＜ 0.05 ).The total effective rate of pre-hospital care for ACS was 48％,while effective rate of independent pattern reached 70％.Factors affecting therapeutic effect on ACS resulting in better outcomes included pre-hospital pattern ( OR =4.097 ),directive pattern ( OR =5.158 ),and use of nitrate ( OR =3.045 ) and oral administration of medicine ( OR =8.215 ). Conclusions Independent pre-hospital pattern had the best therapeutic effect in the pre-hospital care of patients with ACS,and pre-hospital pattern had the best on-site preliminary disposal.Use of nitrate and oral administration of medicine showed the best benefit to the therapeutic effect.

Objective To detect Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis (Mh) in urogenital tract of healthy elementary and high school students,and to determine the biovars and serotypes of Uu isolates.Methods Urine specimens were collected from 957 healthy school children,including 404 elementary school students,260 junior high school students and 293 senior high school students,and submitted for Uu and Mh culture in selective liquid medium.Thc specimens positive for Uu and (or) Mh culture were subsequently subjected to PCR.The biovars and serotypes of Uu were determined.Results Uu was detected in 4.81％ (46/957) of the school children.Among the 46 Uu positive specimens,32 (69.57％) harbored Ureaplasma Parvum (biovar 1 ),14 (30.43％) Ureaplasma urealytieum (biovar 2); 12 (2.97％) were from elementary school students,including 9(75.00％) cases of Ureaplasma Parvum and 3(25.00％) Ureaplasma urealytieum,8(3.08％) were from junior high school students,including 5 cases of Ureaplasma Parvum and 3 Ureaplasma urealytieum,26 (8.87％) were from senior high school students,including 18 (69.23％) cases of Ureaplasma Parvum and 8 (30.77％)Ureaplasma urealytieum.Mh was positive in 9 (0.94％) school students,including 1 elementary school student,1 junior school student and 7 senior high school students.The detection rate of Uu was significantly higher in females than in males in all the 3 groups (elementary school,junior and senior high school) of students.Conclusions Mh and Uu are commensals in urogenital tract of elementary and high school students without symptoms.Ureaplasma Parvum is the predominant biovar in this population,though Ureaplasma urealytieum accounts for a significant proportion,which implies that Uu is commensal in healthy elementary and high school students,and females are more liable to be colonized than males.
