1. Study on preparation of quercetin solid dispersions and its bioavailability in rats
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2017;48(20):4229-4234
Objective Quercetin solid dispersions (QSD) with hydrophilic carriers were prepared in order to enhance its dissolution rate and oral bioavailability in rats. Methods QSD with different ratios of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPK30), PEG6000, and xylitol were prepared by solvent method or melting-solvent method. Dissolution characteristics of QSD were evaluated and compared with that of the pure drug. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) were used to examine the crystallinity of solid dispersion, physical mixture, carriers and quercetin. Drug plasma concentrations were determined by high performance liquid chromatography mass spectrum (HPLC-MS) after oral administration in rats. Results The dissolution rate of quercetin from its solid dispersions was greatly enhanced. Dissolution percentages from the solid dispersion of quercentin-PVPK30-xylitol in 1:5:1 weight ratio were 40.63% and 68.58% at 5 min and 60 min respectively, while in the same time only 0.26% and 1.66% from pure quercetin. The results of DSC and XRPD demonstrated that quercetin was amorphously dispersed in solid dispersion. Oral bioavailability in rats of QSD was about 61-fold higher than that of pure drug. Conclusion QSD significantly improved quercetin dissolution rate and bioavailability in rat.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2013;(10):54-57
Objective To explore the ultrasonographic, clinical and histopathological characteristics features of primary uterus lymphoma. Methods The clinical, sonographic and histopathological characteristics of nine patients who were pathologically comfirmed as primary uterus lymphoma were analyzed. Results Among the nine cases of primary uterus lymphoma, three lesions were found in the uterine bodys and 6 were found in the cervixes. Two patients with uterine body lymphoma had painless pelvic masses and six patients with cervix lymphoma had contact bleeding, including irregular vaginal bleeding in four patients. In sonograms, six lesions showed remarkable hypoechogenicity with homogeneous internal echogenicity;the margins of most lesions were circumcribed;all lesions had posterior enhancement. In color Doppler lfow imaging, abundant vascularities were detected in eight lesions. In the cases of uterine body lymphoma, all of the uterine bodys showed diffuse symmetrical enlargement without disruption of the endometria, while in ifve cases of cervix lymphoma, the tumors showed the shape of lobule. The pathological examination showed that all tumors were diffuse B-cell type non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Conclusions Primary uterus lymphoma has some clinical and ultrasonic features, including contact bleeding or irrgular vaginal bleeding, diffuse symmetrical enlargement of uterine body, complete endometria, remarkable hypoechogenicity, homogeneous echogenicity and posterior enhancement. Final diagnosis depends on the histopathology.

Objective To improve the method for determination of geniposide in Fructus Gardeniae. Methods The improved method was compared with the pharmacopoeia method. The content of geniposide was determined by HPLC at 238nm detection wavelength with acetonitrile-water(15:85)as mobile phase .Results The improved method in which 50 % methanol was used as solvent was superior to the pharmacopoeia method in which methanol was adopted as solvent.A higher geniposide content was abtained from the former. Conclusion The improved method is convenient and accurate, and can be used to supply reference evidence for the assay of Fructus Gardeniae in the new edition of pharmacopoeia.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the organophosphorus pesticides residues in vegetables in Ji'nan,China. Methods From 2005 to 2007,the residues of ten kinds of organaphosphorous pesticides, including methamidophos,parathion-ethyl, parathionm-ethyl,dichlorvos,phorate,monocrotophos,omethoate,dimethoate,chlorpyrifos,malathion were determined in 8 kinds of vegetables by capillary gas chromatography. Results In the 597 vegetables samples, the total detection rate of organaphosphorous pesticides was 32.66%,in 25.63% of the samples, the contents of organaphosphorous pesticides residues exceeded the national standard limits. In leek, the detection rate was 65.56% and the exceeded limit rate was 52.22%.In addition, more than one kind of pesticide could be detected in one kind of vegetable. The concentration of methamidophos, the most serious pollutant, could reach 114.013 mg/kg.Omethoate could also be detected at 11.807 mg/kg.In this investigation,a downtrend was seen in the rate of exceeding standard limits and the difference in seasons in the detection rate of pesticides residues was also seen. Conclusion The detection rate of high toxic organaphosphorous pesticides in vegetables sampled in this study is higher,it indicates that the situation of pesticides abuse is serious in this area.

Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2009;17(3):205-209
Objective To observe differences between repeat and written response in speech recognition tests of short Mandarin monosyllable lists. Methods 12 normal-hearing subjects were tested by 6 short monosyllabic lists. The subjects should repeat and write down.the contents of the tests at the same time, the tester monitors au-rally and records the subjects' reactions. The speech recognition scoring error under different responses at different presentation levels could be obtained by comparing the records of the subjects with the tester. Results The speech recognition scoring of repeat and written response were highly correlated with each other (P<0.01). However, 19(26.4%) out of 72 pairs of test records were inconsistent. The error range of them was from -5% to 10%. When the presentation level was 5 dB HL, the difference among the speech recognition scoring was significant statistically, but not significant when the presentation level at 20, 15, 10 and 0 dB HL. Conclusion The test results of speech audiometry are impacted by different respond methods. In the open-set test, it's supposed that the subjects should make notes while repeating the contents of the tests, then compare with the aural monitoring records of the tester to keep the reliability of the test.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(11):42-45
ObjectiveTo evaluate clinical efficacy ofYupingfeng Granules combined with western medicine for children with recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRTI).Methods CNKI, VIP, WANFANG DATA, SinoMed, PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched for the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that investigated the clinical and immune effects ofYupingfeng Granules in children with RRTI from inception to October 2015. Two researchers independently screened studies according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted data and evaluated the methodological quality of included studies. Then Meta analysis was performed through the software RevMan 5.3.Results A total of 8 articles involving 550 patients were included. The results of Meta analysis showed effective rate ofYupingfeng Granules combined with western medicine for children with RRTI [OR=4.16, 95%CI (2.49, 6.95),P<0.000 01], IgA level [MD=0.52, 95%CI (0.26, 0.78),P<0.000 1], IgG level [MD=2.75, 95%CI (1.25, 4.25),P=0.000 3], CD4+ level [MD=6.15, 95%CI (4.76, 7.54),P<0.000 01], CD4+/CD8+ level [MD=0.36, 95%CI (0.25, 0.47),P<0.000 01]. All of the above were superior to single western medicine treatment. There was no statistical significance in levels of IgM and CD8+(P>0.05). ConclusionYupingfeng Granules combined with western medicine can improve effective rate, antibody level and T-cell level in the treatment of children with RRTI. The overall clinical efficacy is better than single western medicine treatment. However, RCTs with large samples, multiple centers and high quality are needed for further verification.
