1.Clinical Observation of Oseltamivir Combined with Chinese Medicine for Treatment of Influenza
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(5):716-719
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Oseltamivir combined with Chinese medicine for the treatment of influenza. Methods One hundred and ninety-seven cases confirmed as influenza were randomly divided into treatment group ( N=101) and control group ( N=96) . Both groups were given conventional symptomatic and supportive treatment. Additionally, the treatment group received Oseltamivir and Chinese medicine based on syndrome differentiation, and the control group was given Oseltamivir orally. The treatment lasted 5 days. The clinical outcomes included incidence of flu symptoms, time for body temperature decreasing to the normal and time for the relief of all symptoms in both groups. Results ( 1) The total effective rate of the treatment group was 98.0%, superior to 91.7%of the control group (P<0.05) . (2) The treatment group had an effect on sub-siding fever and relieving symptoms more quickly than the control group, the differences being significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01) . ( 3) The treatment group could relieve flu symp toms of sore throat, muscular soreness, cough, nasal obstruction and discharging more effectively, and the differences were significant compared with the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion The overall effect of Oseltamivir combined with Chinese medicine is better than Oseltamivir alone, showing the advantages of subsiding fever in a relatively short period of time and relieving flu symptoms more effectively.
2.Expression of paxillin and vascular endothelial growth factor in lung carcinoma and its clinical implications.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the expressions of paxillin and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in lung carcinoma.Method SP immunohistological staining was used to detect the expression of paxillin and VEGF in 79 patients with lung carcinoma.Result 1.The expression rate of PAX and VEGF was 34.1% and 64.6%respectively.2.Significant positive correlation was found between the expression of PAX and lymphoid metastasis (P
3.Application of risk management in quality control of medical apparatus and instruments of operating room
China Medical Equipment 2017;14(9):40-42
Objective:To explore the application effect of risk management in quality control of medical apparatus and instruments of operation room. Methods: 172 pieces of medical apparatus and instruments were divided into risk management group (n=86) andcommon management group (n=86). A series of indicators, such as effective acceptance rate, qualified cleaning rate, completed supporting facility, specific aim rate, deficiency rate of quantity, error rate of preparation, wet pack rate of sterilization, lost rate of post surgery and the satisfaction degree of physician, were applied to complete statistic analysis. Results: The effective acceptance rate, qualified cleaning rate, completed supporting facility rate and specific aim rate of risk management group were significantly higher than that of common management group (x2=5.02,x2=7.38,x2=9.35,x2=11.14,P<0.05). The deficiency rate of quantity, error rate of preparation, wet pack rate of sterilization, lost rate post surgery of risk management group were significantly lower than that of common management group (x2=6.63,x2=9.21,x2=11.34,x2=13.28,P<0.05). And the satisfaction degree of physician of risk management group (97.7%, 84/86) was significantly higher than that of common group (73.3%, 63/86) (x2=12.83, P<0.05).Conclusion: The application effect of risk management is better than that of common management in the quality control of medical apparatus and instruments in operation room.

5.The choice of therapy for primary liver cancer
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(09):-
A literature review was written to introduce the choice of therapy for primary liver cancer (PLC).It was concluded that hepatic resection, liver transplantation, cryotherapy, microwave coagulation treatment, radiofrequency ablation, transarterial embolization or transarterious chemoembolization, percutaneous ethanol injection, radiotherapy and biotherapy could increase the survival rate, and surgical resection combined with other therapeutic methods is the main treatment for primary liver cancer.
8.Analysis of Plant TATA and TATA-less Promoters by Using Sequence and Structure Features
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(07):-
Analysis of regular elements in promoter region is the base for elucidating the mechanism of gene transcription initiation. The TATA and the TATA-less promoters of plant RNA polymerase Ⅱ gene are chosen from the PlanPromDB.The GC bias, position structure conservation, nucleotide content and conservative motifs of sequences, position distribution of TATA box and conservation of correlation position are analyzed. Many specific regulars for the two types of promoters are found. These features can offer some help for revealing the transcription regulation of plant gene.A new prediction algorithm based on position-correlation weight matrix(PCWM) is proposed. The better discrimination results for two sort plant promoters are obtained by using score function. It is confirmed that the performance of position-correlation weight matrix(PCWM) is superior to single-base position weight matrix(PWM).
