Objective:To explore the clinical feature and prevention of delayed vitamin K deficiency in infants. Methods:The clinical data of 36 infants with delayed vitamin K deficiency who had been admitted to paediatric ward in our hospital during the last 4 years were analyzed retrospectively.Results:28 cases were cured with a cure rate of 77.78%;5 cases died with a mortality rate of13.89%;3 cases gave up treatment which accounts for 8.33%.Conclusion:The incidence rate of delayed vitamin K deficiency is high in infants on pure breastfeeding, and it could be prevented by periodical administration of supplementary vitamin K_1 in small doses to all infants from birth to 3 months. The early diagnosis and proper treatment of delayed vitamin K deficiency are of much clinical significance in increasing cure rate and reducing mortality rate.
2.IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL STUDY OF EXPRESSION OF TYPE Ⅰ AND TYPE Ⅳ COLLAGEN IN THE CORNEAL DEVELOPMENT OF BUFO RADDEI LARVAE DURING METAMORPHOSIS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the spatiotemporal patterns and age-related changes of expression of type Ⅰ and type Ⅳ collagen in the corneal development of Bufo raddei larvae during metamorphosis. Methods Using immunohistochemical method, type Ⅰ and Ⅳ collagen distributions were investigated in the cornea of Bufo raddei at hind-limb bud stage,hind-limb developing stage, forelimb bud stage, complete metamorphosis stage,one-year-old adult and three-year-old adult, respectively. Results The inner and outer cornea fused together into mature cornea during metamorphosis.Type Ⅰ collagen was expressed widely during the period,it existed in Bowman's membrane,Descemet's membrane, corneal stroma and endothelium, especially showing a progressive change in corneal stroma. The expression of type Ⅳ collagen was only observed in Bowman's membrane and Descemet's membrane at first, since the forelimb bud stage,it also expressed in corneal stroma and endothelium, but it didn't express the same as Type Ⅰ.Conclusion Type Ⅰ collagen has the role in the construction of the corneal stroma and its fuction in the corneal development of Bufo raddei larvae during metamorphosis.Type Ⅳ and type Ⅰ collagen expressed differently in corneal stroma showing that the construction of the corneal stroma may depend partly on the right expression proportion of different collagen type.

Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To construct recombinant bacille calmette-guerin (BCG) carrying murine interleukin-12 (mIL-12) genes, and to identify the ability of recombinant BCG for submitting plasmids to eukaryotic cells. Methods:Co-expression shuttle plasmid of pBM12, including mIL-12 gene and mycobacterial replicon of Orim, was built using molecular biological approach. The pBM12 was transfected to BCG competence by electroporation to construct recombinant BCG. The plasmid of recombinant BCG was extracted for PCR identification. The ability of submitting plasmids to eukaryotic cells was determined by RT-PCR. Results:The plasmid pBM12 may be transduced into BCG with electroporation. The specific bands for mIL-12 of the recombinant BCG were detected by PCR. The specific bands for 1632 bp mIL-12 were amplified from transfected macrophages after 96 hours byRT-PCR. Conclusion:The recombinant BCG carrying pBM12 was constructed successfully. The recombinant BCG can submit the carried genes to mice macrophages.
5.Comparison of allergic rhinitis animal models in guinea pigs and new zealand rabbits
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To compare the characteristics of allergic rhinitis animal models in two different animals(Guinea pigs and New Zealand rabbits) induced with various doses of toluene-2,4-Diisocyanate(TDI).Methods:Low dose and high dose of TDI olive oil solution was used as sensitizer to establish models of Guinea pigs and New Zealand rabbits. The typical symptoms and sings of Guinea pigs and New Zealand rabbits were respectively scored during modeling. After the last challenge, nasal mucosa of Guinea pigs and New Zealand rabbits were histopathologically examined and the level of histamine in nasal mucosa was measured by spectrofluorometer. The mortality rates and model success rates were record.Respiratory tracts of dead animals were dissected and histopathologically examined to find out the causes of their death. Results:Compared with control groups, all the Guinea pigs and New Zealand rabbits in model groups got typical symptoms and sings of allergic rhinitis.Histopathology examination of nasal mucosa showed eosinophile cells infiltrating obviously. The levels of histamine in nasal mucosa were highly increased(P

10.The robe of transcription factors in genetics mechanism of congenital atrioventricular septal defect
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):555-557
Atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD)is a frequently diagnosed congenital heart malformation affecting the atrioventricular valves and septa. Heart transcription factors play fundamental roles in atrioventricular valves development and atrioventricular septa formation. Now cardiac transcription factors ( GATA4, NKX2. 5,TBX5 ,ZIC3)have been identified to involve in the pathogenesis of AVSD in humans. Their abnormal expression or function change may cause atrioventricular valve and septa developmental anomalies. Here we review advances in the understanding of the relationship between these transcription factors and AVSD.
