Purpose:To study analgesia effect and adverse reaction of diclofenac sodium extended release capsule for cancer pain in senile patients. Methods:20 senile patients with light or moderate cancer pain were selected.The analgesia effect and adverse reaction were observed after diclofenac sodium extended release capsule 100 mg qn po.Results:The treatment of cancer pain with diclofenac sodium extended release capsule in senile patients had obvious analgesia effect without obvious adverse reaction. Conclusions:Diclofenac sodium extended release capsule 100 mg qn po is a safe,effective and simple way to relieve cancer pain in senile patients with light or moderate cancer pain.

Object To study the effective portion in Cornus officinalis Sieb. et Zucc. extract (COE) for the treatment of arrhythmia. Methods Effect of COE on chloroform induced ventricular fibrillation in mice and electrophysiology of isolated guinea pig papillary muscle were studied. Results Antiarrhythmic effect of COE may be related to its prolongation of action potential duration, increase of the absolute value of resting potential and a decrease of autonomy of sinus node. The effective portion in COE may be its total organic acid and a certain yet unknown trace substance, whereas its total glycosides were devoid of such activities. Conclusion Pharmacodynamic and myocardial electrophysiologic studies showed that the total organic acid and a certain unknown trace substance possessed the obvious antiarrhythmic activity.

OBJECTIVE: To develop an HPLC method for the determination of salvianolic acid B in Qianlie kangxin granules.METHODS: The sample was determined on DiamonsilTM C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) with the mobile phase consisted of methanol-acetonitrile-water-formic acid(25∶10∶64∶1) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 286 nm.RESULTS:The linear range of salvianolic acid B was 0.206～1.854 ?g(r=0.999 9).The average recovery rate for salvianolic acid B was 98.0%(RSD=1.5%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The established method is simple,reliable,stable in results and reproducible,and it is applicable for the quality control of Qianlie kangxin granules.

AIM To investigate antitumor effects of curcumin (Cur) combining with adriamycin (ADR) on human tumor cell lines in vitro and study the mechanisms. METHODS The antitumor effects of the drugs on tumor cell lines in vitro were determined with MTT method. The Jin's formula was used to analyze the effect of drug combination. Cellular ADR accumulation was measured by fluorescence spectraphotometry. RESULTS In simultaneous adiministration Cur 4 25～34 00 ?mol?L -1 combining with ADR produced a simple addition or potentiation effect. The cellular ADR accumulation was markedly increased in the presence of Cur in MDR cells, but decreased in sensitived cells. The experiment of membrane fluidity show that that Cur affects membrane fluidity neither on KB nor on KB v200 cell line. CONCLUSION Simultaneous adiministration of Cur combining with ADR produces synergistic effect. The mechanism is connected with increasing cellular ADR accumulationon on KB v200 cell line. While on KB cell line, it is related to synergistic pharmacological effect. But the action of Cur is not connected with the change of membrane fluidity on both cell lines.

Objective To investigate the anti carcinoma role of integrin targeted photodynamic therapy (PDT) on pancreatic carcinoma cells in vitro.Methods Pancreatic carcinoma cells SW1990 were divided into four groups:cells without quantum dots (QDs) and light-treated as blank control group,pure light-treated group,photosensitizer group and PDT group.The targeting of QDs-arginine,glycine,aspartic acid (RGD) and integrin probe was confirmed by laser confocal microscopy.And as a photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy,after treated for 48 hours the morphology changes of pancreatic carcinoma cells of each group were observed.After 48 hours,the cell proliferation,apoptosis and cell cycle changes were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay and flow cytometry (FCM).The expressions of myeloid cell leukemia-1 (Mcl-1),protein kinase B(Akt) and tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) were detected by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).The amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) of each group were evaluated by fluorescence probe.One-way ANOVA was performed for comparison between groups to analyze the treatment effects of PDT group.Results The QDs RGD probe could effectively targeting pancreatic carcinoma cells.The MTT results indicated that the relative inhibition rate of pancreatic carcinoma cells proliferation of PDT group was statistically higher than that of the other groups at 24,48,72 h (F=73.00,85.10,126.58; all P＜0.01).The FCM results revealed that the cell apoptosis rate of PDT group (17.860％ ±1.230％) was higher than that of the other groups (F=130.617,P＜0.01) and cell cycle G0/G1 phase (69.14％±2.63％) and S phase (24.41％ ± 2.67 ％) retardance was also significant (all P＜0.05).The expression of proliferation and apoptosis related gene Mcl-1 and Akt at mRNA level was lower than that of the other groups however the expression of apoptosis-inducing ligand TRAIL at mRNA level was higher than that of the other groups (F=567.456,446.817,145.238; all P＜0.05).The ROS level of PDT group was higher than that of the other groups (F=3262.559,P＜0.01).Conclusion PDT with a QDs-RGD probe could significantly inhibit pancreatic carcinoma cell proliferation and promote cell apoptosis.

Objective To evaluate the value of MR threedimensional arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) perfusion imaging and intravoxel incoherent motion(IVIM) DWI in differential diagnosis and quantitative analysis of musculoskeletal tumors.Methods Forty-four patients with musculoskeletal tumors were included.According to pathologic results,there were 12 cases of benign tumors,10cases of intermediate tumors and 22 cases of malignant tumors.3D-ASL and IVIM DWI were both performed on forty-four patients to gain tumor blood flow (TBF),standard ADC (ADCstandard),slow ADC (ADCslow)and fast ADC (ADCfast).Immunohistochemical staining of specimens was performed by using CD34 monoclonal antibody to calculate microvessel density (MVD) counts.MVD,TBF,ADCfast and ADCslow of different groups were compared by one-way ANOVA analysis.ADCstandard was compared by Kruskal-Wallis test.ROC curve was used to analyze ASL and IVIM DWI,in order to determine the threshold and diagnostic reliability.Results The MVD of benign tumors was 10±4,the MVD of intermediate tumors was 15±6,and malignant tumors was 33 ± 1 1.There was significant difference among three groups of MVD(F=28.33,P＜0.05).There was better intra-observer agreement for ADCstandard,ADCfast,ADCslow and TBF(ICC=0.970,0.885,0.778,0.891,respectively,P＜0.05).The TBF of benign tumors was(30±10)ml· min-1· 100 g-1,intermediate tumors was(30± 12) ml·min 1· 100 g-1,and malignant tumors was(84±29)ml·min 1· 100 g-1.There was significant difference among three groups of TBF(F=32.34,P＜0.05).According to the ROC analysis,when the cut-offvalue of TBF was 45.5 ml·min-1· 100 g-1,the area under ROC curve was 0.95 1,and the sensitivity and specificity of TBF in diagnosing malignant tumors were 90.9％ and 95.5％ respectively.There was no significant difference among three groups of ADCstandard,ADCfastand ADCslow of benign tumors were(9.9±5.1)× 10-3,(1.9±0.5) × 10-3mm2/s respectively.ADCfast and ADCalow of intermediate tumors were(8.2 ± 3.6) × 10-3,(1.5 ± 0.6) × 10-3mm2/s respectively.ADCfast and ADCalow of malignant tumors were (16.9 ± 5.8) × 10 3,(1.4 ± 0.6) × 10-3mm2/s respectively.There were significant difference of ADCfast and ADCslow among three groups (F=12.75,5.60,P＜ 0.05).According to the ROC analysis,when the cut-off value of ADCfast was 9.4× 10-3mm2/s,the area under ROC curve was 0.861,the sensitivity and specificity of them in diagnosing malignant tumors were 95.5％ and 68.2％ respectively.Conclusion 3D-ASL and IVIM DWI are valuable in the differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal tumors.
