6.Affection of high altitude aviation on the trachea cannula cuff
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2015;31(34):2583-2585
Objective To investigate the effect of high altitude aviation on the pressure and diameter of the trachea cannula cuff after injecting air or water. Methods In the circumstance 5 km height and 795 hPa cabin pressure, the air injected cuffs were divided into two groups, one was under the ground circumstance, the other was in the high altitude aviation environment. The volumes of injected air were 5 ml, 7 ml, 9 ml, 11 ml, 13 ml, 15 ml, 17 ml, and the cuff pressure and its diameter were measured. The water injected cuffs were also divided into two groups of ground and high altitude aviation environment. The volumes of injected water were 10 ml, 12 ml, 14 ml, 15 ml, 16 ml, and the cuff pressure and its diameter were measured. The results were compared between the ground circumstance and high altitude aviation environment. Results The diameter of injection air group versus under the ground circumstance group had the statistical significance (t=5.000-9.449, P<0.05), when the injection air was larger than 15 ml, the pressure effect had statistical significance (t=5.000, 8.000, P<0.05). Water injection group had not statistically significant. Different water volume injection had no effect on pressure and diameter (P>0.05), while different air volume injection had significant effect on pressure and diameter (F=5.132, 5.980, P<0.01). When the water volume was 10 ml, the cuff pressure was (24.00±4.62) cmH2O (1 cmH2O=0.098 kPa) , which was appropriate to the range of cuff pressure (20-30 cmH2O). Conclusions In high altitude aviation environment the trachea cannula cuff should adopt water injection, and the best water volume is about 10 ml.

Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):469-471
In vitro or in vivo results of investigations into the development of photosensitizer drug delivery systems have demonstrated that the use of vehicles not only enhance the stability of photosensitizer, but also promote the accumulation of photosensitizer in tumor tissue, enhance the targetability of photodynamic therapy, the working depth, the yield of singlet oxygen and overcome many untoward effects. So the research of new photosensitizer drug delivery system has important application value in photodynamic therapy of tumor.

Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) on Calbindin D28K(CB) expression and apoptosis in hippocampus in hyperlipemia rats with concomitant cerebral ischemia(CI).Methods Forty male SD rats were rando-mized into control, hyperlipemia+CI(model),acupuncture Ⅰ,and acupuncture Ⅱ groups, with 10 cases in each.Hyperlipemia model was established by feeding the animals with high fat forage for 6 weeks and CI model established by occlusion of the unila-teral middle cerebral artery. For rats of acupuncture Ⅰ group,EA(1-3 mA,15 Hz) was applied to bilateral "Sanyinjiao"(SP 6) and "Fenglong"(ST 40) for 20 min every time, once daily for 10 days before CI.For rats of both acupuncture Ⅰ and Ⅱ groups, after CI,EA was applied to SP 6,ST 40,"Baihui"(GV 20) and "Shuigou"(GV 26) were punctured with filiform needles and stimulated by twirled the needle with hand continuously for 1 min, once daily for 7 days. The apoptotic cells of hippocampal CA 3 area were displayed by TUNEL(terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase biotin-dUTP nick end labeling) method.CB antibody staining with immunohistochemistry was used to show CB-positive cells which were observed by optic microscope. Results In comparison with control group, the percentage of apoptotic cells of the hippocampal CA 3 area in model group increased considerably(P

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2014;49(9):1248-57
Quantitative NMR (qNMR) is a technology based on the principle of NMR. This technology does not need the references of the determined components, which supplies a solution for the problem of reference scarcity in the quantitative analysis of traditional Chinese medicines. Moreover, this technology has the advantages of easy operation, non-destructiveness for the determined sample, high accuracy and repeatability, in comparison with HPLC, LC-MS and GC-MS. NMR technology has achieved quantum leap in sensitivity and accuracy with the development of NMR hardware. In addition, the choice of appropriate experimental parameters of the pre-treatment and measurement procedure as well as the post-acquisition processing is also important for obtaining high-quality and reproducible NMR spectra. This review summarizes the principle of qHNMR, the various experimental parameters affecting the accuracy and the precision of qHNMR, such as signal to noise ratio, relaxation delay, pulse width, acquisition time, window function, phase correction and baseline correction, and their corresponding optimized methods. Moreover, the application of qHNMR in the fields of quantitation of single or multi-components of traditional Chinese medicines, the purity detection of references, and the quality analysis of foods has been discussed. In addition, the existing questions and the future application prospects of qNMR in natural product areas are also presented.

Objective To explore the relationship of molecular biology characteristic and the treatment outcome, and influence factors of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in inflammatory breast cancer (IBC).Methods The clinicopathological data of 103 IBC patients who were treated with NAC from January 2005 to June 2013 were analyzed retrospectively.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of estrogen receptor (ER),progesteron receptor (PR),human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) and E-cadherin.The treatment outcome were evaluated. Results In 103 IBC patients,ER negative was 48 patients,PR negative was 51 patients,HER-2 positive was 45 patients,E-cadherin positive was 66 patients. The effective rate of chemotherapy was 72.8% (75/103).The effective rate of chemotherapy in taxane-based group was significantly higher than that in anthracycline-based group [80.6% (50/62) vs.61.0%(25/41)],and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).The effective rate of chemotherapy in ER,PR,E-cadherin negative patients was significantly higher than that in ER,PR,E-cadherin positive patients [83.3% (40/48) vs.63.6% (35/55),82.4% (42/51) vs.63.5% (33/52),83.8% (31/37) vs.66.7% (44/66)],and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).The effective rate of chemotherapy in taxane-based group with E-cadherin positive patients was significantly higher than that in anthracycline-based group with E-cadherin positive patients [77.5% (31/40) vs.50.0% (13/26)] (P <0.05).No correlation existed between the expression of HER-2 and the treatment outcome of chemotherapy (P > 0.05).Conclusion ER,PR and E-cadherin negative patients with IBC is chemosensitive to NAC.The positive expression of E-cadherin may be an important factor of chemotherapy resistance. For the patients with E-cadherin positive,taxane-based chemotherapy regimen can achieve a better effective rate.
