Since l982, Hebei Provincial People,s Hospital developed a 4-week Program for AcuteMyocardial Infarction (AMI)rehabilitation at first in China. A3-week program and a 2-week programwere developed, respectively in 1984 and 1988. Free walking exercise was main activity in the 3-weekand 4-week programs. The average days of hospital stay for 4-week program was 49 and for the 3- week program was 39 days. The cardiac capacity was over 5 METs while discharging from hospital.Theeffeet was 95.6%, one case was no effect, with complication of heart failure. Another 79-year-oldwoman got heart attack during hospitalization. Through follow-up the rate of returning to the condi-tion of the post was 71-74%。 The programs were easy to carryout. The 4-week program was suitablefor the elderly and that with cardiac complication. The 2-week program was suitable for young pa-tients.

PDCA cycle was applied in special rectification activities for medical instrument clinical trial, with quality criteria of implementation made. Completed medical instrument clinical trial from January 2011 to December 2012 was believed as control group, from January 2013 to December 2014 as PDCA group, the scores of clinical trial and the score rate of items were compared and analyzed. Results show quality scores of clinical trial in PDCA group are higher than that in control group (51 vs. 81, P < 0.001), score rate of items increased except adverse events (P < 0.001). The special rectification activities with PDCA applied in our department are feasible and effective. It significantly improves implement quality of medical instrument clinical trial.

Clinical data and radiological findings of 78 patients with distal radial fractures,who underwent plain X-ray film and muhislice CT (MSCT) examinations,were retrospectively analyzed.Twenty nine associated carpal bone factures were detected on X-ray film in 21 cases;while 47 associated carpal bone fractures were detected on MSCT in 29 cases (P ＜ 0.05).The missed diagnosis rate of X-ray was 38％.Results indicate that MSCT can significantly improve the detect rate,which should be recommended for diagnosis of associated carpal bone fractures in distal radial fractures.

Objective To study the effects of mifepristone on the expression of estrogen receptor(ER)? and progesterone receptor(PR) in the endometrium of patients with adenomyosis in different menstrual cycles. Methods Forty-seven patients with adenomyosis and 15 normal subjects were divided into 3 groups: mifepristone group(n=24),non-drug group(n=23) and control group(n=15).The expression of ER? and PR in eutopic,ectopic and normal endometrium in proliferative phase and secretory phase were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results In non-drug group,the expression of ER? and PR in ectopic endometrial glandular and stromal cells was significantly lower than that in eutopic and normal endometrium(P0.05).The expression of ER? and PR in both ectopic and eutopic endometrial glandular and stromal cells in mifepristone group was lower than that in the non-drug group(P

Objective: To investigate the preventive and theraputic effects of Astragalus and Angelica mixture(A&A)on renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis after unilateral ureteral obstruction(UUO)in rats and their mechanisms. Methods: UUO rats were randomly divided into Sham, UUO, A&A or ACEI groups. A&A, ACEI or the same amount of water was administered by gavage beginning 24 hours before UUO preparation and continued through ten days after UUO. Sera and the kidney tissues were collected from each group on the tenth day. Scr and BUN were measured. Trichrome staining, measurement of tubulo interstitial damage index and immunohistochemical studies localizing ? smooth muscle actin(? SMA), TGF ? 1, fibronectin(FN), laminin(LN)were carried out. Results: In UUO rats, the tubular interstitial damage index, the expressions of ? SMA, TGF ? 1, FN and LN were all increased compared with those of Sham group. The tubulo interstitial damage index had positive correlation with expressions of ? SMA, TGF ? 1, FN and LN. A&A significantly ameliorated deterioration of renal function, tubulo interstitial damage index and inhibited the over expressions of ? SMA, TGF ? 1, FN and LN in UUO rats. These anti fibrotic effects were similar to those affected by ACEI. Conclusion: In renal interstitial fibrosis induced UUO rats, A&A retard the progression of renal fibrosis and renal function deterioration by inhibiting myofibroblasts and suppressing TGF ? 1 expression, which may consequently result in a decreased production of extracellular matrix.

Objective To detect the MRI manifestations and discrimination of tuberculous spondylitis and pyogenic spondylitis with atypical features in early stage. Methods Six patients with pathologically proved tuberculous spondylitis and 7 patients of pyogenic spondylitis with atypical clinical features and were included. MRI features of the vertebral bodies, intervertebral discs, paraspinal soft tissues and their enhancement patterns were analyzed. Chi-Square test was used to compare the MRI features of two diseases. Results Patients with pyogenic spondylitis had a significantly higher incidence of disk space narrowing (8 intervertebral bodies), abnormal signal in superior/inferior of vertebral body (12 intervertebral bodies) and endplate with high signal (13 intervertebral bodies), which were not seen in the patients with tuberculosis spondylitis (P<0.05).Patients with tuberculous spondylitis had a significantly higher incidence of local abnormal signal in anterior of vertebral body (4 intervertebral bodies) and paraspinal abscess spanning vertebral body (5 intervertebral bodies), while none of them was found in patients with pyogenic spondylitis (P<0.05). Conclusion MRI is accurate for the differentiation of tuberculous spondylitis and pyogenic spondylitis with atypical feature in early stage.
