OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the rational use of TCM injections. METHODS:The related data of using TCM injections was drawn from May 2009 to May 2014. And the data of 5 TCM injections,including Shengmai and Shenmai in-jection,were statistically analyzed,the indications of 8 TCM injections,including Shengmai and Shenmai injection,were also sta-tistically analyzed. RESULTS:In solvents evaluation,the 5 TCM injections were used 501 times,in which 391 times(78.04%)of the solvents used were rational,381 times(76.05%)of the solvent doses used were rational;in clinical indications evaluation,the 8 TCM injections were used for 2 579 patients,in which 1 120 cases were in accordance with the instructions while the other 1 459 cases were not,the qualification ratio was 43.43%. CONCLUSIONS:There were still some problems in using TCM injection in our hospital in the aspects of solvent as well as indications.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of paeoniflorin,baicalin and imperatorin in Urticaria pill. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Alltima C18 with mobile phase of methanol-water-Phosphoric ac-id(55∶45∶0.2,V/V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 230 nm for paeoniflorin,280 nm for baicalin and 300 nm for imperatorin,column temperature was 30 ℃,and the volume injection was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 5.40-54.0 μg/ml for paeoniflorin(r=0.999 8),11.29-112.9 μg/ml for baicalin(r=0.999 7)and 24.95-249.5 μg/ml for imperatorin (r=0.999 9),respectively;the linit of quantitation were 5.4、11.2、30.0 ng,the lirnit of detection were 1.8、2.8、7.5 ng;RSDs of pre-cision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;recoveries were 95.88%-98.33%(RSD=0.95%,n=6), 96.86%-99.96%(RSD=1.20%,n=6)and 98.07%-100.55%(RSD=0.92%,n=6),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple and accurate with strong specificity and good reproducibility,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of paeoni-florin,baicalin and imperatorin in Urticaria pill.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of the SF-36 health survey questionnaire used to investigate the quality of life (QOL) of the patients undergoing tibial bone transport.Methods Reliability analysis,correlation analysis and validity analysis were performed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the SF-36 scale.According to treatment time,94 patients who underwent tibial bone transport were divided into 3 groups:group A were 30 patients who had just started bone transport,group B 43 patients who had completed bone transport and removal of external fixation within 2 years,and group C 21 patients who had completed bone transport and removal of external fixation beyond 2 years.A mean comparison of items in the SF-36 scale was further carried out.Results The questionnaires were completed well.The Chonbach α indexes of all the items were more than 0.8,showing good reliability of the scale.Most of the correlation coefficients were almost or more than 0.5,indicating acceptable content validity of the scale.The QOL of the patients undergoing tibial bone transport was differentiated from that of normal people,proving good discriminant validity of the scale.Groups B and C obtained significantly better scores in all items of the scale than group A (P ＜ O.05).Group C scored significantly higher in physical functioning (PF) and role-emotional (RE) than group B (P ＜ 0.05),but there were no significant differences between the 2 groups regarding other items of the scale (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions With good reliability and validity,the SF-36 health survey questionnaire can be used to assess the QOL of the patients undergoing tibial bone transport.The treatment of bone transport in the tibia can significantly and durably help improve the QOL of the patients.

Objective To compile an applicable inventory of academic diligence for middle school students. Method By means of literature analysis and in-deep interview with teachers, an academic diligence inventory was constructed and used for 393 high school students. Such methods as correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were analyzed by SPSS11. 0 for windows XP. Results ① Five principal components of academic diligence were selected, which could be called target monitoring, time investment, task commitment, persistence and concentration. ②Internal consistency reliability and split-half reliability of total scale are 0. 9126 and 0. 9003. Reliability of each subscale are above 0. 7615. Correlation coefficient between subscales and total scale ranged from 0. 672 to 0. 820. That of among subscales ranged from 0. 248 to 0. 521. Conclusion Reliability and validity of the inventory of academic diligence for middle school students are both satisfactory enough to meet psychometric indexes.

Objective To discuss the technique, therapeutic effect and complications of CT-guided interstitial implantation of ~(125)I seeds for the treatment of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Methods With the help of treatment planning system, CT-guided interstitial implantation of ~(125)I seeds was performed in 21 patients with pathologically-proved NSCLC. Multi-plane implanting technique was adopted and ~(125)I seeds of (0.5 -0.8) mCi were placed at intervals of (1.0-1.5) cm. Checkup CT scan was carried out immediately after the procedure to make sure that the seeds were satisfactorily distributed. Follow-up CT scanning was made (2-6) months after the treatment to survey the distribution of the seeds within the tumor. The curative effect and complications were also evaluated and observed. The patients were followed for 12 months. Results Of 21 cases, complete remission was seen in 7, obvious remission in 12 and partial remission in 2. The one year survival rate was 90.5% (19/21). Complications included pneumothorax (n = 6) and hemoptysis (n = 2). No serious complications or treatment-related radiation injuries occurred. Conclusion CT-guided interstitial implantation of ~(125)I seeds is a safe and effective treatment for NSCLC with reliable short-term therapeutic effect.

BACKGROUND: One major reason for transplanted kidney failure is BK virus (BKV) associated nephropathy, which leads to renal inadequacy and ureteral obstruction. OBJECTIVE: To identify the incidence of BKV viremia in kidney transplant recipients, as well as to analyze the risk factors of BKV infection. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A retrospective case analysis was performed at the Department of Urology, Affiliated Beijing Friendship Hospital of Capital Medical University from September 2001 to December 2007. PARTICIPANTS: One hundred and twenty-one renal transplant patients, and 20 renal failure patients, who underwent hemodialysis were served as control group. METHODS: The viral load in plasma was quantified with a real-time PCR method. The recipients were divided into the PV+ group (BKV DNA positive blood samples) and PV- group (BKV DNA negative in blood samples) according to the detection outcomes. The gender, age, cold ischemia time, immunosuppressive agent, donor type and other clinical parameters were compared between 2 groups. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Logistic regression was performed to determine risk factors for BKV infection. RESULTS: The incidence rate of BKV viremia accounted for 24.7% (30/121) of kidney recipients, which was higher than the control group (1/20), the difference between them was significant (P = 0.03). Logistic regression found that cold ischemia time (RR 3.34, 95% CI 2.76-5.60) and cadaver donation (RR 2.19, 95% CI 1.32-3.97) were significantly related to BKV viremia. However, ages of recipients, time of collecting samples, and intravenous glucocorticoid therapy was independence to BKV viremia. CONCLUSION: Kidney recipients are the high risk population who are susceptive to BKV infection. Cold ischemia time and cadaver donation may be the risk factors of BKV viremia.

Objective The study was designed to investigate the effect of atomization inhalation of Qingjin-Huatandecoction on prevention of elderly patients’ postoperative pulmonary complications after thoracotomy.MethodsA total of 60 elderly patients with thoracotomy were randomized into 2 groups. Both groups of patients were treated with oxygen uptake, anti-infection, antispasmodic, analgesic, and nutritional support. Based on the conventional treatment, the control group was added with atomization inhalation of mucosolvan and dexamethasone, while the treatment group with atomization inhalation ofQingjin-Huatan decoction. The volume of phlegm, serum CRP, TNF-α level and absolute neutrophil count (ANC), arterial blood gasanalysis, and records of the pulmonary complications were meausred.Results The pH value at Day 3 (7.39 ± 0.06vs. 7.36 ± 0.05,t=2.120), the PaO2at Day 3 (86.51 ± 3.96 mmHgvs. 84.07 ± 3.51 mmHg,t=2.520) and Day 5 (92.27 ± 2.94 mmHgvs. 90.40 ± 3.08 mmHg,t=2.400) of treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group; the PaCO2at Day 3 (44.57 ± 2.53 mmHgvs. 46.39 ± 3.35 mmHg,t=2.390) and  Day 5 (40.77 ± 2.48 mmHgvs. 42.42 ± 3.33 mmHg,t=2.130) of treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The serum CRP at Day 3(8.26 ± 2.38 mg/Lvs. 9.76 ± 2.37 mg/L,t=2.440) and Day 5 (6.94 ± 1.76 mg/Lvs. 8.15 ± 2.38 mg/L,t=2.250), the ANC at Day 3 (8.54 ± 1.85)×109/Lvs. (9.58 ± 1.94)×109/L, t=2.140) and Day 5 (6.54 ± 1.85)×109/Lvs. (7.58 ± 1.95)×109/L,t=2.160), the serum TNF-a at Day 5 (7.54 ± 1.38 mg/Lvs. 8.43 ± 1.36 mg/L,t=2.540) of treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The sputum volume at Day 3 (50.74 ± 18.46 ml/dvs. 59.92 ± 15.25 ml/d,t=2.099) and Day 5 (39.64 ± 18.21 ml/dvs. 48.99 ± 13.55 ml/d,t=2.256) of treatment group was lower than that of the control group. At Day 5, the pneumonia (3.33%vs. 20.00%,t=4.043) and the atelectasis (6.67%vs. 26.77%,t=4.320) of treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionAtomization inhalation ofQingjin-Huatandecoction can improve pulmonary function of postoperative pulmonary complications of elderly patients after thoracotomy, take control of inflammation and the occurrence of postoperative pulmonary complications.

Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a type of malignant tumor originating from the lymphoid hematopoietic tissues.Its typical pathological feature is the existence of R-S cells in the background of the different types of inflammatory cells.HL represents about 10 ％ of the total lymphoma and has good treatment outcome with 80 ％-90 ％ cure rate.However,there are still about 10 ％ of patients with refractory or relapsed lymphoma,which has become research focus of HL.In recent years,along with the application of molecular biology techniques,radiotherapy,chemotherapy and targeted therapy in treating HL,significant progress has been made in pathogenesis,prognosis and treatment of HL.

The limited-Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) treatment most preferred combined modality treatment,there are some scholars believe that nonbulky stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ of good prognosis HL patients,ABVD chemotherapy alone is acceptable,radiation therapy alone for stage Ⅰ or limited stage Ⅱ nodular lymphocytepredominant HL patients.Individual treatment by easing speed adjustment treatment in the future may make patients more benefit.

[Objective]To investigate the expression of protein destrin in cytoskeleton protein in traumatic arterial aneurysm(TAA) vessel wall tissue and its relationship with clinical representations and pathological characteristics.[Method]Western-blot analysis and RT-PCR were used to detect the quantitative expression of destrin protein in 13 patients with TAA and in the femoral arterial tissues of 8 normal subjects.The difference of protein expression was compared,and the results with clinical data were analyzed statistically.The correlation of unbalanced expression of destrin protein with the clinical presentations was studied.[Result] The expression of destrin in TAA tissue was lower than that in the femoral artery of normal subjects(P
