Most main oilfields in China have already entered a "double high" development stage (high water cut, high recovery degree). To further enhance oil recovery in reservoirs after polymer flooding (RAPFs), an efficient activator formulation for promoting metabolism of endogenous microorganism was studied by aerogenic experiments, physical simulation experiments, electron microscopy scanning and pyrophosphate sequencing. Results show that the activator could activate the endogenous microorganisms in the injected water and make the pressurized gas reach 2 MPa after 60 d static culture of the activator in a high pressure vessel. The oil recovery efficiency of natural core physical simulation flooding can be improved by more than 3.0% (OOIP) in RAPFs when injected 0.35 PV activator with 1.8% mass concentration, and a lot of growth and reproduction of activated endogenous microorganism in the core was observed by electron microscopy scanning. Field trial with 1 injector and 4 producers was carried out in the east of south II block of Sa Nan in December 2011. By monitoring four effective production wells, changes of carbon isotope δ13C (PDB) content of methane and carbon dioxide were -45 per thousand to -54 per thousand and 7 per thousand to 12 per thousand. Compared with east II of Sa Nan block, the oil amount increased by 35.9%, water cut stabled at 94%. The incremental oil was 5 957 t during the three and a half years, which provides an alternative approach for further improving oil recovery in similar reservoirs.

Objective To evaluate the implementation of the national essential medicine system in Shaanxi Province.Methods Using a standardized methodology (2008 Edition) developed by the World Health Organization(WHO) and Health Action International(HAD,data on the prices and availability of 38 essential medicines were collected from 120 primary,secondary and tertiary public hospitals in ten cities of Shaanxi Province from March to May 2012.Results The availability of essential medicines is generally low at public hospitals in Shaanxi province,as the average availability of originator brands is but 5.9％,and that of generics of the lowest prices is but 23.9％,while this availability at tertiary hospitals is higher than hospitals of lower levels.The procurement prices of originator drugs within essential medicines are distinctly higher than the international reference prices for the originator brands,and slightly higher for the lowest priced generics.The procurement prices at primary care hospitals are slightly lower than that of other hospitals.Retail prices of essential medicine are not significantly different among regions of different income levels.Affordability of originator brands is poor,while that of their generic equivalents is good.Conclusion The government is recommended to adjust the national essential medicine list,expand the variety of essential medicine moderately,improve the medicine pricing mechanism,and deepen public hospitals reform.

Objective To explore the clinical features,diagnosi s and prognosis of incontinentia pigmenti.Methods Analyzing and summarizing the clinical characteristic, diagnosis and prognosis of neonatal incontinentia pigmenti in 6 neonatal infants that were hospita- lized in our department during the period from January 1 998 to December 2003 were studied,and some relevant literature were reviewed. Results 1.Three of 6 infants were male which was unusual;2.Four infants had typical skin lesions at birth and 1 case at 6 days old.Four cases had typical 3 stages o f skin lesions including the erythematous and vesicular inflammatory stage,verr ucous lesions and hyperkeratosis stage,macular hyperpigmentation stage,but the re was overlap;3.Four infants were complicated by central nervous system involv ement (two cases presented mental retardation,2 infants were temporary damage). Two cases were complicated by ocular manifestations ( one case had optical nerve atrophy and blind in left eye,the other had severe bilateral retinal lesions); 4.On specific examination 5 infants were diagnosed by skin biopsy.Gene analysis was made in 1 case,but we didn′t find the mutations of NEMO. Conclusions Incontinentia pigmenti is a rare X-linked dominant multisystem disease.It may be misdiagnosed in the initial stages.Except typical clinical features,skin biops y and gene analysis are main evidence for diagnosis.Early detection and interven tion are important for prognosis. Objective To improve the recognition of intramedullary spinal abscess by a case of congenital dermal sinus with intramedullary spinal abscess and reduco the incidence of congenital dermal sinus with intramedullary spinal abscess.Methods Clinical,laboratory data and image of a confirmed case about one infant of congenital dermal sinus with multiple intramedullary spinal abscess were investigated,the related literature was reviewed.Results In this case,when the infant with congential dermal sinus had infection,he failed to gain antibiotic therapy, timely surgical treatment,his infection had diffused, and multiple intramedullary spinal abscess flared up.Conclusions Intramedullary spinal abscess is a rare disease.If treatment is delayed, the prognosis is poor and the mortality rate is high.MRI is the ideal investigation for diagnosis.Intramedullary spinal abscess can happen subsequent to congenital dermal sinus with infection, and cause neurological sequela. So an infant with congenital dermal sinus should be offered to avoid complication caused by infection.

AIM: To investigate the influence and mechanism of blue light on the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells.METHODS: Cells were divided into two groups,including blue light group and control group.The 35W white light lamp with blue filter was used to establish damaged RPE cell model in vitro.Blue ray wavelength ranged between 470nm and 520nm.And the light intensity was about 2000Lx.After exposure to blue light,we tested the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells by CCK-8 kit.And then expression of miR-103 was measured by the real-time PCR.RESULTS: Exposure to blue light inhibited the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells and increased the expression of miR-103.Moreover,up-regulation of miR-103 inhibited the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells,and down-regulates miR-103 promoted the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells.CONCLUSION: Blue light inhibits the proliferation of human retinal pigment epithelial cells by the up-regulation of miR-103.

Objective To study the interaction of BDNF gene C270T polymorphism and estrogen receptor alpha (ERα)gene Xba Ⅰ loci and Pvu Ⅱ loci polymorphism in late-onset Alzheimer's disease(LOAD)pathogenesis in southern Chinese Han population.Methods BNDF gene C270T locus,ERα gene Xba Ⅰ site and Pvu Ⅱ site polymorphisms were examined in 203 LOAD patients and normal controls using PCR-RFLP technique.Results There was an interaction be-tween BDNF gene and ERα gene,and BDNF gene C270T locus CC genotype and the ERa gene Xba Ⅰ locus xx genotype increased the LOAD incidance risk(OR=2.38,95%CI:1.02～5.53).Conclusions BDNF gene and ERα gene are in-teracted each other in the pathogenesis of LOAD.Patients carrying both BDNF gene C270T locus CC genotype and the ERα gene Xba Ⅰ locus xx genotypes might have an increased risk for LOAD.

PCR/ASO probes were applied to analyse the T-786C polymorphisms in 5′-flanking region of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)gene in type 2 diabetic patients with or without nephropatby and healthy individuals.The results showed that the T-786C polymorphisms of eNOS gene seemed to be related to diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes.
