AIM: To observe the curative effect of Sanguis Draconis combined with salicylazosulfapyridine(SASP) in the treatment of non-specific ulcerative colitis(UC). METHODS : 40 cases with UC were divided into the treatment group(20 cases) and the control group(20 cases). Both groups were given SASP per-orally and retention-enema to treat the disease. In addition,the treatment group was also given Sanguis Draxconis per-orally and retention-enema. RESULTS : The short-term curative rate,the total effective rate and the recurrence rate were 60%,95% and 15.8% respectively in the treatment group,and 20%,65% and 61.5% respectively in the control group;there was a great difference between the two groups( P

OBJECTIVE To study the expression of the level of tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-?) and total IgE in Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP) infection and bronchial asthma,and to analyze its relation with disease severity.METHODS The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was adopted to measure the level TNF-? and radioimmunoassay(RIA) to measure IgE in 42 children patients with asthma and MP infection as a test group,and 36 healthy children as a control group.RESULTS Among patients with asthma and MP infection TNF-? Objective To observe the effect of active components(glycyrrhizic acid monoaminate,total ginsenoside and to-tal ophiopogonoside)of Zhi Gancao Decoction(ZGD)and their combination on the triggered activity and myocardial dam-age in the isolated ischemia -reperfusion rat heart.Methods Isolated rat heart was treated with L angendroff perfusion and monophase action potential technology was applied.Results &Conclusion Total extract of ZGD,single active c omponents and their combination can markedly l ower the incidence of cardiac triggered activity,prevent the myocardiu m from injury and decrease the incidence of arrhythmia induced by ischemia -reperfusion in rats and the effects of their com bination are positively related to the doses.
