Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(12):-
Objective: To observe the effect of Angong Niuhuang Bolus on prognosis of diffuse axonal injury (DAI), and to explore awaking and body-temperature-reducing actions of Angong Niuhuang Bolus in the patient of DAI. Methods: 30 cases of DAI were treated by routine western medicine therapy plus Angong Niuhuang Bolus as treatment group, and other 30 of DAI were treated by only routine western medicine therapy as control group. Their prognosis was estimated and analyzed by Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)and Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS)and mortality. Results:The total effective rate of 80% in the treatment group was significantly better than 56. 7% in the control group(P

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of rude Rhubarb combined with Danshen root treating Cholestatic hepatitis E. Methods 60 cases of cholestatic hepatitis E were randomly recurited into a treatment group and a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was administrated with liver protection therapy, symptomatic treatment and supportive care. Based on therapies of the control group, the treatment group was taken with Rhubarb 3 g orally, twice daily, and intravenously dropped with Danshen root injection 20ml, once daily. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 93.3% and 66.7% respectively, showing significant differance(P<0.01 ). The value of TBil and DBil in the treatment group was statistically improved compared with the control group (P<0.01) . besides the hospitalized time of the treatment group was 46±9 days and hospitalization expense was 6630±1032 RMB, demonstrating a significant difference compared with the control group. Conclusion Rude Rhubarb combined with Danshen root can treat Cholestatic hepatitis E by improving the symptoms and reducing serum bilirubin level. Besides this method also shortens therapeutic time and reduces hospitalization costs.

Objectives To evaluate the mechanism of mitral regurgitation after mitral valve surgery by quantitative assessment of mitral valve three-dimensional parameters using real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE). Me-thods According to the improved degree of mitral regurgitation (MR), 30 children were divided into two groups after mitral valve repair:MR improved (I) group and residual MR (II) group. And the pre-operative 3-DE parameters were compared with post-operative parameters in two groups respectively. Results In group I, three dimensional parameters, including mitral valve annular area in end-systole and end-dilate (AA1, AA2), PM papillary muscle annular distance (AL-A), AL papillary muscle annular distance (PM-A), inter-papillary distance (PM-AL), the anterior leaflet and posterior leaflet tethering angles (a1, a2, argAL-C-PM), left ventricular volume end-systole and end-dilate (LVEDV, LVESV) were significantly improved after surgery (P<0.05) while the parameters PM-A, PM-AL, argAL-C-PM, LVEDV, LVESV and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were not significantly changed after surgery in group II, except for the parameters AA1, AA2 and a2 (P>0.05). Conclusions Most of the mitral valve parameters were much better in group I after surgery. However, the malformation of papillary appa-ratus, leaflet tethering strength and left ventricular function were unchanged in group II, which may be the key mechanism of mitral regurgitation after surgery.

AIM: To observe the curative effect of Angong Niuhuang Bolus on diffuse axonal injury(DAI) prognosis. METHODS: 30 cases of DAI treated with Angong Niuhuang Bolus in addition to conventional modern therapy as treatment group, another 30 cases with modern therapy only as control group, the curative effect of Angong Niuhuang Bolus on DAI was observed and analyzed through the comparisons of GCS,clinical effectiveness and death rate. RESULTS: GCS of treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P

Objective To study the value of c-reactive protein (CRP) level in the diagnosis and efficacy evaluation of clinical complications in patients after bone marrow transplantation. Methods Sixty-six patients with different complications after bone marrow transplantation were included and CRP levels were tested. The relationship between CRP levels and corresponding clinical complications were analyzed. Results The levels of CRP were significantly different in different complications after the bone marrow transplantation.CRP may marketly increase in the patients with bacterial infection,bacteria-associated mixed infection,ultra-acute GVHD,and ATG reaction;CRP may mildly increase in patients with bacterial infection, fungal infection,bacteria-associated mixed infection,acute/chronic GVHD;CRP did not increase in the patients with viral infection.CRP level reached the highest value in patients with most obvious clinical symptoms of bacterial infection, gradually decreased in patients after effective treatment, those restored to normal but then increased CRP always indicated new clinical complications. Conclusion CRP is a valuable mark for the early differential diagnosis and efficacy of therapy for complications in patients after bone marrow transplantation.

20.0?109/L was day 13(11~21).All the patients got engraftment successfully and attained CR.Acute Ⅰ~Ⅱ GVHD occurred in 5 patients,no acute Ⅲ~Ⅳ GVHD occurred and extensive chronic GVHD did in 2 patients. All the patients were alive and only one patient relapsed after 3~53 months follow-up.Conclusion TBI-based conditioning regimen appears to be safe and effective for non-T-depleted HLA mismatched hemotopoietic stem cell transplants, especially for high-risk and second transplant patients.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of oral ganciclovir on cytomegalovirus viremia in patients receiving allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Methods Thirty patients who were treated with oral ganciclovir from Feb,2006 to May,2006 were studied.Intravenous ganciclovir was used 10 mg/(kg?d)for eight days before HSCT as prophylaxis of CMV infection.Cytomegalovirus was detected after HSCT once a week using polymerase chain reaction(PCR)method. If CMV was positive and CMV-DNA load was higher than 6.0?102 copies/mL and lower than 105 copies/mL,oral ganciclovir was used for the treatment(1 g,three times a day). Results CMV viremia was positive at a median time of 42 days after HSCT;median CMV-DNA load was 4.626?103 copies/mL.Good response on CMV DNA load(reduction below 6.0?102 copies/mL)was observed in 90% of oral ganciclovir and the response rate was 70.0% within 14 days.Median duration of therapy for good response was 10 days(range 2~30 days).Severe adverse effects were not observed and CMV-related disease did not occur. Conclusion Oral ganciclovir is an attractive and safe alternative for pre-emptive CMV viremia treatment in allo-HSCT recipients.

Objective: To investigate the levels of resisitin and C reactive protein, and their relationship with diabetic in patients. Methods: The levels of resistin and C reactive protein were determined in 62 diabetic patients and 42 control subjects. Results: The levels of C reactive protein and resistin were (5.62?0.80))mg/L,(37.43?11.52)?g/L,respectively, compared with control subjects(C reactive protein: (3.62?1.1) mg/L, Resisitin: (18.24?5.84) ng/ml),P

Objective Through summaring all the randomized controlled trials published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion during the last 30 years,to investigate clinical researching situation of acupuncture in home and to provide objective and reliable data for other researchers. Methods All clinical research papers published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion from 1981-2010 was categorized and scored accordingto the size of sample, methods of grouping, and having or not having international or national diagnostic criteria, and then made a comprehensive analysis and comparison. Results ① RCT articles published in Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion has increased annually.②The methods of grouping has become more and more normative, which indicates that the level of RCT has been elevated.Of them, randmon digital table has been put into use the most frequently. Conclusion The quality of acupuncture clinical research papers are improving continuously, but the descriptions of the process need to be standardized.
