OBJECTIVE To survey the knowledge about the prevention by hepatitis B vaccination among vaccine recipients and inquiry persons, and formulate the measure of health education on prevention of HBV. METHODS 349 cases of hepatitis vaccines and inquiry persons in infirmary from Oct 2006 to Feb 2008 were selected, and making questionaire investigation for the understanding of HBV infection. RESULTS The initiative consciousness of prevention to HBV was manily focused on young people. The 20 to 40 years old people were 81%,3% below 20 years and 16% over 40 years among the investegatees. The correct rate of cognition was 36.4%. CONCLUSIONS To propagandize the knowledge about HBV and make the people to understanding the HVB,and increase the consciousness for prevention. To reduce the mistake cognition for HBV infection and encourage the high-risk people to receive the hepatitis vaccination.

ObjectiveTo investigate correlative factors of non-operative treatment in the senile cataract, and provide gist for the health education measures.Methods1513 retiring old people had a whole medical examination, and the data was analyzed.ResultsThe proportion of binoculus cataract was 45.9%. Predilection age was 70~79 years old. Cognition information and iatrogenic effects were major risk factors in the non-operative therapeutic agents. Cataract was the third in the elder chronic disease.ConclusionMany senile patients with cataract have not enough knowledge about cataract operation although having better medical treatment and economy conditions. So the closed attention to the health education must be paid in the future.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the knowledge of Helicobacter pylori infection among outpatients, analyzing the data and providing useful information and measures for H.pylori infected and uninfected patients. METHODS Questionnaires about the knowledge of H.pylori were operated on 286 patients randomly selected from patients taking gastrointestinal endoscopy in October,2005. RESULTS Among 286 patients investigated,177 cases(61.9%) took the examination for diagnosis, while 157 cases(54.9%) had upper abdominal symptom more than 12 months. There were 60% patients investigated who knew only 2 items from total(7 items) about H.pylori in the questionnaires, while 46.7% patients wanted to obtain the knowledge of the disease and instructions on health care from medical professionals. In addition,it showed that there was no close relation between education level and knowledge of the disease. CONCLUSIONS Investigating the knowledge of special disease, which mastered by the patients, will help to identify patients blind to the disease they have, and patients who are in need of health-care instructions.

To obtain higher potency and specificity, a series of 7-alkoxy analogues of illudalic acid was synthesized on the base of structure-activity relationship (SAR). All of these compounds exhibited submicromolar inhibition of the enzyme when tested against human leukocyte common antigen-related phosphatase (LAR) (for example, for 15e, IC50 = 180 nmol x L(-1)). They represent the most potent small-molecule inhibitors of LAR so far. These analogues also display excellent selectivity for LAR over other protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) except for the highly homologous PTPsigma. The compound 15f is of 120-fold selectivity for LAR versus PTP-1B inhibition. The development of potent enzyme-specific inhibitors is so important that they may serve both as tools to study the role of LAR and as therapeutic agents for treatment of type II diabetes.
