1.A case report of Von-hippel-Lidau disease
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2001;263(9):108-111
The authors report a case of Von hippel Lindau disease in a 20 years old patients with presenting signs: diminution of visual acuity, intracramial hypertension with a left cerebollar syndrome and existence of an retinal angioma on the right side and papilla oedema on the left side. A scanning examination revealed a cystic tumor with a solid little mass. Angiography showed a capillary nodus coressponding to the mass lesion, with feeding arteries coming from the anterio superior cerebellar artery. Removal of the cyst and the tumor was successful. Pathological examination: Hemangi oblastoma. Negative ultrasound examination of the kidney, pancreas.

5.Treatment status of parenteral nutrition-associated cholestasis in preterm infants
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2014;21(5):313-316
Parenteral nutrition (PN) is one of the important measures to cure premature babies and critically ill infants. In recent years, with the improvement of rescue techniques in the perinatal period,a growing number of preterm infants alive, very low birth weight and low birth weight infants gradually become an important part of the neonatal disease. The gastrointestinal development of these premature babies are not mature or combined with other diseases,in a long period of time after birth need partial or complete PN support.Due to the use of PN,provides the children with survival and greatly reduce the case fatality rate, but the cause of parenteral nutrition associated cholestasis would become one of the main complications of premature infants, seriously affect the patient's quality of life.In this paper, the treatment of premature parenteral nutrition associated cholestasis status is summarized.
6.A comparison of two methods for anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody of double-antigen sandwich assay
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(2):185-187
Objective To investigate the sensitivities and specificities of enzyme-linked inununosorbent assay(ELISA)and immunogold labeling technique in the detection of anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody.Methods(1)Sensitivity test:15 sera from patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)diagnosed by western blotting were diluted proportionately,we detected the anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody in all diluted sera using ELISA and immunogold labeling technique, and recorded the maximum dilutions of the two methods that the anti-human immunodeficiency virus antibody was positive.(2)Specificity test:200 sera from patients with nonAIDS were detected by ELISA and immunogold labeling technique, and we recorded the negative rates of the two methods.Results(1)Sensitivity test:The maximum dilution of ELISA was significantly higher than that of immunogold labeling technique(P < 0.05).(2)Specificity test:The negative rates of the two methods were 100%,and there was no significant difference between the two methods. Conclusion The sensitivity of ELISA in the detection of antihuman immunodeficiency virus antibody is better than that of immunogold labeling technique, but the sensitivities and specificities of the two methods are consistent when the serum is detected,so the immunogold labeling technique is able to replace ELISA as a screening test for AIDS.
7.Comparison of clinical effectiveness of peripherally inserted central catheters and peripheral intravenous catheters in tumour chemotherapy
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2011;27(1):54-55
Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of peripherally inserted central catheters(PICC) and peripheral intravenous catheters(PIV) in tumor chemotherapy. Methods A total of 180 patients with intravenous chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups. 108 patients in the PICC group, 72 patients in the PIV group. The holding time and complications were observed and compared. Results The rate of complication in the PICC group were much lower than the PIV group, however was much longer than the PIV group in holding time. But there was no statistical difference in the positive culture rate of bacteria of two groups. Conclusions It is very safe to use PICC which can reduce the rate of complication of catheters and venipuncture times and is worthy of spreading in practice.
8.Role of ocular melanin in ocular drug delivery
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2014;32(6):572-576
Ocular melanin is mainly distributed in the uveal tract (including iris, ciliary body and choroid) and the retina pigmented epithelial (RPE) layer. Many drugs from different therapeutic classes can bind to melanin.Examples include antibiotics,anesthetics,β-blockers,corticosteroids,antimalarial drugs and so on.The critical factors are the acid/base status and the lipophilicity of the molecule.Lots of literatures, which refer to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics of drugs from different administration routes, have demonstrated that the binding of drugs to melanin plays an important role in the drug delivery. Not only it may increase initial concentration of drug in the tissues, but also the reversible binding of most drugs to melanin result in a slow release of drugs from melanin, thus it would prolong the action time to potentially beneficial or adverse effects. In addition, the melanin content differs by species and races, even by regions of an eye, which results in different binding capacity of a drug in each individual.Nonetheless, further understanding the melanin-drug binding can provide scientific insight and guideline for transscleral ocular drug delivery.
9.Progress of PedsQLTM in cerebral palsy children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(5):527-530
More recently, the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory Measurement Model (PedsQLTM)is wildly applicated in the research of pediatric quality of life as a pediatric population health measure. Considerable emphasis has been placed on the measurement of the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy, and many scholars carried on the investigations using the PedsQLTM abroad, while there was no related literature reported presently in China. This paper summarizes the basic structure and scoring method of PedsQLTM, and synthetically sums up the determinations of reliability, validity, and sensitivity of PedsQLTM in cerebral palsy children, and gives an overview of the effects on assessment of clinical efficacy and making a medical decision. The PedsQLTM has some superiority in measuring the quality of life in cerebral palsy children.
10.Progress of msenchymal stem cells in lung injury
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(4):375-377
Lung injury is a group of lung inflammation and fibrosis diseases which is caused by a variety of reasons. There is no specific and effective treatment for it.Late irreversible damage is an important factor that cause respiratory dysfunction even the death of patients. Therefore, finding a breakthrough in the treatment of lung injury is one of the research focuses.Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)can migrate to lung and participate in reconstruction of injured lung.MSCs can be obtained and cultivated easily, and has characteristics of strong plasticity and immune tolerance.
