To study the expression of Dickkopf-1 (DKK-1) in endometrium of pregnant mice during the peri-implantation period and the role of DKK-1 during the embryo implantation in mice. Immunohistochemical technique was employed to determine the location of DKK-1 protein in endometrium, and semiquantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was utilized to determine the levels of DKK-1 mRNA. Our results showed that the expressions of DKK1 mRNA and protein were higher in experimental groups than in control group (P<0.01) and it increased significantly on day 3 and reached its peak on day 4, and then decreased gradually on day 5-7. The levels of DKK-1 mRNA and protein on day 4 was significantly higher than those of other groups (P<0.01). It is concluded that DKK-1 probably plays an important role in signal transudation of embryo implantation and its high expression indicates the opening of implantation window.

3.Endovascular treatment of nose and mouth bleeding caused by traumatic skull base fractures
Chinese Journal of Trauma 2010;26(8):719-721
Objective To explore the treatment strategy for mouth and nose bleeding caused by skull base fractures. Methods A retrospective analysis was done on 14 patients with severe skull base fracture combined with nose and mouth bleeding admitted to hospital. Tracheotomy or tracheal intubation was performed to ensure airway patency. When anti-shock was performed, the patients were sent for carotid artery angiography to identify the blood vessel. Then, hemostasis was done by means of direct intravascular interventional embolization. Results Timely and successful hemostasis was achieved in all 14 patients after embolization, with no complications occurred. Of all patients, there were 10 patients with good recovery, three with disability and one death. Severe disability and death were related to brain injury. Conclusions After maintenance of airway patency and effective blood pressure, emergency endovascular embolization can effectively improve the rate of successful treatment of nose and mouth bleeding caused by traumatic skull base fractures, especially for patients combined with traumatic brain injury.
5.Preliminary Study of Immunodiagnosis of Trichinosis by ELISA Using Urea Soluble Antigen of Trichinella spiralis
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
Urea soluble antigens of Trichinella spiralis infective larva were prepared and the efficiency of the antigens in diagnosis of trichinosis by ELISA are studied. Specific IgG antibodies are detected by ELISA using urea soluble antigens in 91.67%(22/24) of 24 sera and 91.67% (ll/12)of 12 blood spots of filter paper of patients of trichinosis. Specific IgM antibodies are seen in 95.24% (20/21) of 21 sera of patients using the antigens. Sera of patients infected with Schistosoma japonicum have some cross reactions on the antigens. Sera from mice infected with - Schistosoma japonicum, Ancyclostoma caninum larva, and Plasmodium yoelii are negative. The urea soluble antigen has a relatively high sensitivity, specificity and good reproducibility in diagnosis of trichinoisis by ELISA, and has a practical and economic value.
6.Effect of mifepristone on early ectopic pregnancy and its effect on fertility
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(9):341-343
Objective To investigate the efficacy of mifepristone in the treatment of early ectopic pregnancy and its effect on the fertility of patients. Methods 90 patients with early ectopic pregnancy admitted in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2012 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with methotrexate. The combination group was treated with mifepristone. Patient treatment effectiveness and fertility. Results There were no significant differences in β-HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) and mass in the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the patients were significantly improved, the study group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). The rate of intrauterine pregnancy was significantly higher in the study group than that in the control group (P<0.05). The rate of ectopic pregnancy and secondary infertility were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05 ). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The efficacy of mifepristone in the treatment of early ectopic pregnancy is ideal for the retention of patient fertility and should be promoted.

Objective To analyze the HLA-A, B local haplotype frequencies of Han population in Northwest China. Methods The results of HLA-A, B local polymorphism were obtained by using the PCR-sequence specific oligonucleotide probes (SSOP) reverse dot blot. Haplotype was inferred by the heredity law of HLA. Results The high haplotype frequencies were A02-B46, A30-B13, A02-B40. Linkage disequilibrium parameters of 11 haplotypes had significant differences. Conclusion The HLA-A, B local haplotype frequencies of Han population in Northwest China differ from those of Han population in other areas. The haplotypes A30-B13, A01-B37 and A32-B44 present significant linkage disequilibrium.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of MRI in treatment choice of anterior disc displacement with reduction. Methods 1.5 T superconducting MR was used to scan bilateral temporomandibular joints in 72 consecutive patients who were diagnosed by MRI as unilateral(66 patients)/bilateral(6 patients) anterior disc displacement with reduction at closed and open mouth. MRI sequences included oblique sagittal T2 weighted image and proton density weighted image, and 78 joints' images were acquired. According to the severity of clinical symptoms, all joints were divided into severe symptom group (45 joints) and mild symptom group (33 joints). Treatment was performed in severe symptom group , while follow up was conducted in mild symptom group. Disk position(angle between posterior margin of the disc and the condyle vertical line), disk morphology(biconcave, biplanar, biconvex, rounded, folded, thick posterior band), and joint effusion (none effusion, mild effusion, moderate effusion, marked effusion) were evaluated by two radiologists. The observer agreement for image evaluation was calculated using Kappa statistics. Group difference in disk position was compared using t-test and Chi-square test was used to compare group difference in disk morphology and joint effusion. Results The Kappa value between two radiologists were 0.816 and 0.832 (P<0.01) on evaluation of disk morphology and joint effusion. Statistical results indicated that the angles between posterior margin of the disc and the condyle vertical line in severe symptom group (54.2 ± 10.9)° were larger than those in mild symptom group (46.4 ± 9.0)° (t=3.37, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in disc deformation incidence between the two groups (χ2=1.18,P=0.277). The common deformation in sever symptom group was thick posterior band (χ2=5.65, P<0.05), and in mild symptom group was biplanar (χ2=5.67, P<0.05). No statistical difference in joint effusion incidence was observed(χ2=1.02,P=0.312). Moderate and marked effusion were more common in sever symptom group than that in mild symptom group (χ2=6.55,P<0.05). Conclusions MRI is a useful tool for making treatment choice in anterior disc displacement with reduction. Treatment should be given when the following occurred on MRI:moderate anterior disc displacement, disc deformation (excepting for biplanar), moderate or marked joint effusion.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2003;0(08):-
Objective To study the operation design and surgical methods for terminal surgical reconstruction of severe post-midfacial fracture deformities. Methods From July 1997 to December 2002,11 cases of severe and complex post-midfacial deformities were reconstructed. There were four cases with Le Fort Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ fractures, five with Le Fort Ⅰ and Ⅲ fractures and two with Le Fort Ⅰ and Ⅱ fractures combined with right orbital-zygomatic fractures. Typical bicoronal and subcilliary incisions and intra-oral approach were employed to expose all the fractured sites. The displaced orbito-zygomatic bone fragments were repositioned firstly in order to reconstruct the outer midfacial framework. Then, the malunited maxilla was reduced to its proper position after osteotomy of Le Fort Ⅰ fractures under the guidance of mandible through inter-maxilla fixation. The depressed naso-orbital region were reconstructed using autogeneous outer cranial table. Meanwhile, nasal framework reconstruction, medial canthal tendon reapproximation and plasty, and fractured orbital walls repairing were performed to correct the enophathalmos. Results All the cases recovered well and the post-operative facial appearance and occlusal function were improved obviously. Conclusions Complex midfacial fractures, usually involving orbital-zygomatic bone, naso-orbit and maxillary bone, can be well improved through osteotomy and reduction, internal rigid fixation with mini-plates and screws, autogenenous bone grafting and framework reconstruction.
