1.Establishment of clinical EBM information service model in medical library
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2017;26(1):63-67
The visual angle of active participation reference model was not scientific and its contents were not sys-tematic in the past EBM information service. A new EBM information service model was thus established by compa-ring the finding process of evidence and the transforming process ofinformation-knowledge-intelligence with the need of evidence-based decision making in clinicians as a logic starting point in order to provide the theory of what to do andhow to scientifically do for clinical librarians and clinicians, to effectively direct clinical librarians to perform EBM information service, and to help clinicians to scientifically make their decision.
2.Intervention of CT Localization plus TCM Therapy on Prolapse of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(4):53-55
Purpose To observe the curative effect of interventional therapy by CT localization combined traditional Chinese medicine on prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc. Method The inpatients of lumbar intervertebral disc prolapse were randomly divided into treatmentgroup and control group. Interventional therapy by CT localization combined TCM was used in the treatment group while in the control group TCM therapy was taken only. The treatment lasted for 10 days in both groups. Results The curative effect was 94.3% in the treatment group while 76.8% in the control one (P < 0.05), which had statistical meaning. Conclusion Interventional therapy by CT localization combined TCM on prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc had better effect and shorter treatment course.

0.05). The correlation coefficients between receiving, giving intergeneration social support and SWB were 0.25 and 0.131 respectively. Both receiving economic support and receiving emotional support from adult-children were significant positive predictors of the elderly's SWB (R2=8.3%). Conclusion: The receiving economic support and receiving emotional support from adult-children significantly affected the elderly's SWB.

Objective To study the effect of ephedrine on middle latency auditory-evoked potentials (MLAEP) during light general anesthesia , and evaluate the influence of ephedrine on anesthesia level. Methods 10 patients (ASAⅠ-Ⅱ) undergoing elective upper abdominal operations were concerned. Anesthesia: epidural anesthesia in combination with light general anesthesia with N 2O-O 2 . After success of epidural anesthesia and tracheal intubation , when anesthesia was smooth , before operation 0.1% ephedrine(0.15 mg/kg) was injected intravenously. These data HR, SBP, DBP, MBP were measured continuously before injection, 3 min after injection, 10 min after injection; the latentcies Nb and P1 of MLAEP were measured and rescorded. Results HR?SBP?DBP?MBP increased significantly 3 min after injection, 10 min after injection compared with these data before injection (P
8. Effect of platelet-rich plasma on blood coagulation indexes after hip preserving surgery for osteonecrosis of the femoral head
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2020;24(15):2393-2398
BACKGROUND: It was found that platelet-rich plasma injection can change the coagulation function of patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of platelet-rich plasma injection on coagulation parameters in patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head after hip preserving surgery, and to evaluate the risk factors of vascular embolism after surgery. METHODS: Totally 75 cases of osteonecrosis of the femoral head treated by drilling and decompression of the femoral head, removing the dead bone in the femoral head and supporting with fibula allograft were selected in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine from December 2016 to September 2018. According to whether platelet-rich plasma injection was used during the operation, the patients were divided into two groups. The platelet-rich plasma group contained 42 cases (42 hips). The control group (33 cases, 35 hips) did not use platelet-rich plasma. The other treatments in the two groups were the same. The changes of blood coagulation indexes before and after operation were continuously observed in the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Patients in both groups were followed up for 3 months. (2) Levels of fibrinogen and D-dimer were significantly increased in both groups. However, levels of fibrinogen and D-dimer in one week after operation in the platelet-rich plasma group were 52.5% and 47.0% higher than those in the control group, indicating platelet-rich plasma led to hypercoagulability and a possible high risk of vascular embolism. (3) There were significant differences in prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time and international standardized ratio, but there was no significant clinical significance in both groups. (4) The use of platelet-rich plasma had no effect on platelet level or C-reactive protein.

OBJECTIVE To compare the results of plasma scalpel assisted uvulopalatopharyngoplasty(UP PP) under local anesthesia(PS)with radiofrequency volumetric tissue reduction(RF)in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). METHODS Sixty-nine and 79 patients were treated with PS and RF respectively. They were followed-up for 6 and 12 months after operation and the outcomes of the 2 surgical methods were compared. RESULTS The improvement rates at 6 months after PS and RF were 85.5 % and 83.5 % respectively. There was no significant difference between the 2 methods. The improvement rates at 12 months after PS and RF were 78.3 % and 49.3 % respectively. The difference was significant. No major complication was found. CONCLUSION The long-term outcome of PS is better than that of RF. PS surgery may be comparable with surgery under general anesthesia in some special cases.

Objective To investigate the influences of imatinib on Survivin gene expression in bcr-abl-transformed leukemia cells. Methods Firstly,PCR and Western blot were carried out to detected Survivin expression with imatinib treatment in 32Dcl3 and 32D-bcr-abl cell lines. Then the luciferase reporter plasmids containing human Survivin promoter as well as its deletion and site-directed mutation were constructed to identify the essential responsive elements for suppressing Survivin promoter activity by imatinib.Chromatin immunoprecipitation was performed to confirm the binding of c-myc to Survivin promoter.10058-F4,a small molecule c-myc inhibitor, was used to disrupt c-myc activity and evaluate its anti-leukemic effect combined with imatinib. Results Both of mRNA and protein level of Survivin in bcr-abl-transformed cells were downregulated upon imatinib treatment. The decrease of Survivin expression was controlled at the transcriptional level through a mechanism in which imatinib repressed survivin promoter activity by disturbing the interaction between c-myc and E-box elements.Interruption of c-myc activity by 10058-F4 exerted an anti-leukemia effect with enhancing the sensibility of K562/G01 cells to imatinib. Conclusion Imatinib down-regulates Survivin expression through c-myc-mediated transcription and interference with c-myc might be a potential utility for treatment of imatinib resistant leukemia.
