3.ADR Reports of Our Hospital in 2008: Analysis of 113 Cases
China Pharmacy 2001;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the characteristics and general pattern of the adverse drug reactions (ADR) occurred in our hospital. METHODS: A total of 113 ADR cases reported by our hospital in 2008 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients’age and sex, route of administration, dosage form, category of drug, organs and systems involved in ADR and clinical manifestations, etc. RESULTS: The ADR were mainly induced by venous administration (59.29%). Anti-infective drugs dominated the first place on the list of ADR incidence rate (46.90%) followed by TCM preparations (23.01%). The most common manifestation of the ADR was lesion of skin and its appendants(37.17%). CONCLUSION: Great importance should be attached to ADR monitoring to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR.
4.Flavonoids and spiro-lactones from Hypericum hookerianum
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Objective To study the chemical constituents in plants of Hypericum hookerianum and their activities by pharmacological experiment. Methods Cytotoxicity screening of the extracts from H. hookerianum were carried to isolate and purify the chemical constituents. The chemical structures were (identified) by physicochemical properties and spectral data analysis. Results Seven compounds were isola-(ted) and (established) as quercetin (Ⅰ), luteolin (Ⅱ), apigenin (Ⅲ), hyperin (Ⅳ), astragalin (Ⅴ), hyper-(olactone) A (Ⅵ), and hyperolactone C (Ⅶ). Conclusion All the compounds are isolated from H. hookerianum for the first time. Compounds Ⅲ and Ⅴ are isolated from the plants of Hypericum Linn. for the first time. In addition, the fractions by chlorform and ethylacete extracting, quercetin, and luteolin possess the cytotoxicity.
5.DNA sequence homology analysis of Trichophyton rubrum isolates from multiple body sites of patients with onychomycosis
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2010;43(8):542-545
Objective To profile genotypes of Trichophyton rubrum isolates from different body sites in patients with onychomycosis. Methods DNA was extracted from 30 T. nibium isolates from 10 patients with onychomycosis, and subjected to PCR with tandemly repetitive subelement 1 (TRS1 )-specific primer to analyze the number of repetitive elements in the non-transcribed spacer (NTS) region of ribosomal DNA gene, and to random primer amplification with the random primer OPAA11. The genotype variety was evaluated for T. rubrum isolates from different body sites of patients with onychomycosis. Results All the strains were classified into 5 genotypes based on the copy number of TRS1, and into 11 genotypes by RAPD analysis. The genotypes of T. rubrum seemed unrelated to sites of infection. Genotype diversity was observed among T. rubrum strains from different body sites of the same host in 7 out of the 10 cases as shown by amplification of TRS1 region, in 8 out of the 10 cases as demonstrated by RAPD analysis. Conclusion A single host with onychomycosis could harbor multiple genotypes of T. rubrum at different body sites, suggesting external sources of infection rather than infection from a different site in the same individual.
6.The effect of exception / miracle questions in nursing on affects, confidence and actual solving problems
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(1):66-69
Objective To investigate the effect of exception questions/miracle questions in SolutionFocused Approach in nursing on affects, confidence to solve problem, the perception of problem's difficulty, and actual solving problems,to provide practical basis for practitioners of Solution-Focused Approach. Methods A total of 102 nurses were randomly divided into exception questions in Solution-Focused Approach group (exception group),miracle questions in Solution-Focused Approach group (miracle group)and cause questions in the traditional psychotherapy pattern group(cause group). The difference among three groups on the aspect of the change of affects, confidence to solve problem and the perception of problem's difficulty, and the help form the questions immediately and after 1 week (immediate help and 1 week after help) were studied. Results Eventually subjects effectively,34 nurses in exception group,31 nurses in miracle group,31 nurses in cause group. The difference among three groups in aspect of the change of affects, the change of confidence to solve problem, immediate help and 1 week after help were statistically significant (Z=9.68-18.58,P< 0.05).Furthermore,change in problem solving confidence on exception group was higher than cause group(51.9 vs.35.6,P < 0.05),change in affects on exception group and miracle group were higher than cause group (53.8,55.1 vs.36.0,P < 0.05),the immediate help on exception group and cause group were higher than miracle group (59.8,52.5 vs.32.0,P < 0.05),and 1 week after help on exception group was higher than miracle group and cause group(64.5 vs.42.3,37.0,P < 0.05).Conclusions Exception/miracle questions can both improve the emotional state, and exception questions can enhance the confidence to solve problems and provide more help for nurses.

9.Patterns of change in triglyceride during the clinical course of acute pancreatitis
Chinese Journal of Pancreatology 2016;16(2):98-102
Objective To investigate the patterns of change in serum triglyceride (TG) during the clinical course of acute pancreatitis (AP) and its clinical relevance. Methods Eighty one consecutive cases of AP were retrospectively reviewed.Based on their TG levels on admission, the patients were divided into high TG group (TG ≥ 11.3 mmol/L),median TG group (5.65 ≤ TG < 11.3 mmol/L) and low TG group (TG < 5.65 mmoL/L).They were additionally categorized into different treatment groups depending upon whether they received hemopurification, lipid lowering drugs or fat emulsions parenteral nutrition, and no special treatment group. The clinical characteristics and the patterns of change in TG were analyzed. Results The mean age of high, median, low TG group was (40 ± 10),(40 ±8),(51 ± 13) years old,and the difference among the high, median TG group and low TG group was statistically significant (P < 0.01),but there was no significant difference between high and median TG group. In terms of sex, history of diabetes, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia, acute pancreatitis, smoking and drinking, predisposing factors, disease onset season, severity of AP and hospitalization length, there was no significant difference among the 3 groups.Within the first 48h of admission, the TG levels of high and median TG group decreased significantly, and the percent of decline was (33.77 ± 26.57) %,(43.46 ± 17.76) % in the first day,and it was (66.33 ± 17.20) %,(57.50 ± 2.70) % in the second day, then it gradually decreased, but maintained a slightly higher level than normal. In contrast,no trend of decrease in TG during hospitalization was observed in low TG group. The patterns of change in TG in patients receiving hemopurification or lipid-lowering drugs were similar to those without special treatment.Fat emulsions parenteral nutrition exerted no significant influence on TG level in patients of low TG in no special treatment group.Of the patients without special treatment, the TG and total serum cholesterol level was positively correlated, while there was no correlation with other parameters. Conclusions The patterns of change in TG during the clinical course of AP vary with the patients' TG level on admission. If the decrease of TG does not reach 1/3 with routine treatment within the first 48 h,hemopurification therapy may be considered;for patients with TG < 5.65 mmol/L,fat emulsions parenteral nutrition treatment can be accepted.
