Journal of Clinical Neurology 1988;0(02):-
Objective To observe the dynamic changes of CPP32 mRNA in hippocampus following temporary whole cerebral ischemia in rats and to explore the mechanism of neuron apoptosis induced by cerebral ischemia. Methods The model of temporary whole cerebral ischemia in rats were induced by carotid artery negative pressure shunt and the expression of CPP32 mRNA were detected with fluorescence quantify RT PCR.Results Compared with the naive group, the expression of CPP32 mRNA did not increase insignificantly in sham operation group. Compared with sham operation group, the expression of CPP32 mRNA in ischemia group trended to increase at 6 h after ischemia and increased by 53% at 12 h and 223% at 24 h after ischemia. It kept in high level and decreased at 72 h after ischemia. Conclusion The expression of CPP32 mRNA in hippocampus could be induced by temporary whole cerebral ischemia. It began to increase at 6 h, reached its fastigium at 24 h and tended to decrease at 72 h after ischemia. The enhanced gene transcription of CPP32 plays an important role in the neuron apoptosis induced by cerebral ischemia.

OBJECTIVETo dynamically assess drug targeting of Yougui Pill (YP) and Zuogui Pill (ZP) using infrared thermography.
METHODSIn this self-control experiment, five healthy volunteers were recruited. By using infrared thermography 10 to 11 thermal images of different body locations were taken from each participant after they took warm water, YP, ZP, and their dissembled prescriptions at 30, 70, 100, 130, and 160 min, respectively. The heat values in the lower quadrant abdomen, uterus, Du channel, and Shenque (CV8) were statistically analyzed after scanning for 125 times.
RESULTSAdministration of YP and its disassembled prescriptions enhanced the heat value of the locations of the Du channel and Shenque (CV8), but did no enhance the heat value of the lower quadrant abdomen at 30 min. Administration of ZP and its disassembled prescriptions reduced the heat value in the locations of the lower quadrant abdomen, uterus, Du channel, and Shenque (CV8) at each time point.
CONCLUSIONThe drug targeting of ZP and YP focused on the locations of the Du channel and Shenque (CV8), not on the locations of the lower quadrant abdomen or uterus.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;(8):637-640
Atherosclerosis is the most important cause of ischemic stroke. microRNAs can play an important role in the lipid metabolism, vascular inflammatory response, angiogenesis, as wel as smooth muscle cel proliferation and phenotypic conversion, etc. by regulating the functions of vascular endothelial cel s, vascular smooth muscle cel s, and mononuclear macrophages. It is closely associated with the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis. This article mainly reviews the regulatory effect of microRNAs on lipid metabolism and vascular inflammatory response in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.

The Journal of Practical Medicine 2017;33(14):2389-2392
Objective To investigate the application value of virtual touch tissue quantification (VTQ) technique in staging of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methods VTQ examination was performed on a random sample of 96 CKD patients at different clinical stages and 45 healthy volunteers (control group). Shear wave velocity (SWV) of renal parenchyma was measured and compared. Correlation between SWV and clinical stage and glomeru-lar filtration rate (GFR) of CKD patients was analyzed. Results The SWV value of renal parenchyma decreased gradually, along with the progression of CKD disease and impairment of renal function. There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the control group and the CKD1 group ( P=0.061), the CKD2 group and the CKD3 group (P = 0.238), and the CKD4 group and the CKD5 group (P = 0.624). The difference of SWV between the remaining groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05). SWV of renal parenchyma was negatively correlated with CKD stage (r =-0.65, P < 0.001), which means the higher the stage of CKD was associated with the lower the SWV. SWV was positively correlated with GFR (r = 0.73, P < 0.001), which means the lower the GFR was related to the lower the SWV. Conclusion VTQ technique can noninvasively reflect the changes of renal parenchyma elas-ticity and evaluate the impairment of renal function in CKD patients. It can provide a new quantitative evaluation index for the clinical staging of CKD.
