Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV),also known as human herpesvirus 8 (HHV-8),is discovered in 1994 from Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) lesion of an acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)patient.In addition to its association with KS,KSHV has also been implicated as the causative agent of two other AIDS-associated malignancies:primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) and multicentric Castleman's disease (MCD).KSHV is a complex DNA virus that not only has the ability to promote cellular growth and survival for tumor development,but also can provoke deregulated angiogenesis,inflammation,and modulate the patient's immune system in favor of tumor growth.As KSHV is a necessary but not sufficient etiological factor for KS,human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a very important cofactor.Here we review the basic information about the biology of KSHV,development of pathogenesis and interaction between KSHV and HIV.

Objective To investigate the clinical application and curative effect of Carbon Nano-particles in curative resection of mid-low rectal cancer .Methods 26 patients with mid-low rectal cancer were divided equally into carbon nano-particle group and routine group .The labeling group were injected with carbon nano-particles 20~24 hours before operation and treated with TME laparoscopic radical resection .The data of lymph nodes detected in the two groups were compared .Results (1)Total number of lymph nodes detected in the labeling group was higher than that of the routine group (287 vs .124 ,P<0 .05) .(2)The labeling group had higher average lymph nodes detected per patient (22 .12 ± 3 .50 vs .9 .56 ± 1 .50 ,P< 0 .05) ,as well as higher average lymph nodes smaller than 5mm per patient(9 .18 ± 1 .41 vs .3 .50 ± 0 .82 ,P<0 .05) .(3)The metastasis rate of lymph nodes detected in la-beling group lacked statistical significance as compared with that of the routine group (3 .10 ± 0 .37 vs .2 .62 ± 0 .25 ,P>0 .05) .Con-clusion Adoption of carbon nano-particle in curative resection of rectal cancer can increase the number of lymph nodes detected ,re-veal more accurately the metastasis situation of lymph nodes ,facilitate the resection of lymph nodes and rectal cancer during the op-eration ,and provide guidance for postoperative clinical staging and treatment .

Objective To study the clinicopathological characteristies,differential diagnosis,etiological factor and treatment of anorectal malignant melanoma(AMM). Methods Clinical pathological characteristics and immunohistochemical findings were observed in 13 cases of anorectal malignant melanoma,with review of related literature.Results Average age was 55.8 years. And often occurred in the middle and old. Under microscope, the tumor was complicated constructionally, and the tumor cells were variform. Usually in tightly packed nests, dispersed sheet and trabecular, melanin pigment could be observed in the majority of AMM, but sometimes ameLanotic pigment was present. Immunohistochemiscal the tumor cells were positive for HMB 45, S-100 and vimetin. Conclnsion AMM is a high malignant tumor with very poor prognosis. So,it should be diagnosed and treated early. HMB 45 and S-100 are sensitive tumor markers for AMM.

Objective To study the expression of P73 and its relationship with expression of Survivin in colon carcinoma. Methods The expression of P73 and Survivin was studied by immunohistochemical technique in 46 cases of colon carcinoma and 12 cases of normal colon mucosa. Results The P73 expression rate of colon carcinoma was significant higher than that of normal colon mucosa(χ2 = 13.42, P ＜0.01 ). Overexpression of P73 was related to the pathological grade and Dukes stage ( ( χ2 = 8.01, P ＜0.01 ), and it was closely related to lymphatic metastasis of colon carcinoma( P ＜0.01 ). There was a positive relation between P73 and Survivin( rs =0.487, P ＜0.01 ). Conclusions The expression of P73 was closely associated with Survivin in colon carcinoma. The results suggested that the overexpression of P73 and Survivin was involved in the tumorigenesis and development of colon carcinoma and P73 and Survivin might be used as a new tumor marker in metastasis and prognosis of colon carcinoma.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of smoking among grassroots healthcare workers in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, so as to provide insights into effective implementation of tobacco control measures in primary healthcare organizations. Methods: Grassroots healthcare workers of community health service centers (health institutes) were sampled from four streets (townships) in each of 6 counties (cities, districts) in Shaoxing City using a stratified cluster sampling method from May to June 2023. Participants' demographics, current smoking and quit smoking information were collected through questionnaire surveys, and factors affecting current smoking among grassroots healthcare workers were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 2 801 questionnaires were allocated, and 2 595 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.65%. Participants included 719 men (27.71%) and 1 876 women (72.29%), with a mean age of (39.39±10.11) years. There were 119 current smokers and the prevalence of current smoking was 4.59%. The median number of cigarettes smoked per day was 10.00 (interquartile range, 14.25) and the median duration of smoking was 20.00 (interquartile range, 15.00) years. There were 52 people with intention to quit smoking (43.70%), and 51 people with attempts to quit smoking (42.86%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis identified men (OR=22.998, 95%CI: 10.912-48.473), alcohol consumption (OR=3.907, 95%CI: 2.528-6.037) and length of service (15 years and more, OR=3.115, 95%CI: 1.305-7.434) as factors affecting current smoking among grassroots healthcare workers. Conclusions The prevalence of current smoking among grassroots healthcare workers in Shaoxing City is 4.59%, and there is low willingness to quit smoking. Current smoking status may be affected by gender, alcohol consumption and length of service.

[Objective]To introduce a new surgical method for treatment of Tossy typeⅢacromioclavicular joint dislocation.[Methods]To reconstruct coracoclaviacular ligament with double ENDOBUTTON technology.[Results]The six patients undergoing the operation were followed up for an average time of 0.5 year,the result was excellent and good(Great A).All patients recovered from abnormal function and no complication happened.[Conclusion]Double ENDOBUTTON technology is an effective method for treating typeⅢ acromioclavicular joint dislocation;function recovery of acromioclavicular joint is fast without complication.

Objective:To explore the problems and give reasonable advice by investigating the current situation and needs of rehabilitation professionals nationwide. Methods:This research investigated the rehabilitation institutions invested by Disabled Persons' Federation system, sanitary system, privately-run institutions and People's Insurance Company from March to July, 2015 to collect data of rehabilitation physicians and therapists, in which the questionnaire survey, expert consultation and on-spot investigation were used. Results:The survey issued 416 questionnaires, 329 questionnaires were recalled, and 261 out of them were eligible. The profession titles of rehabilitation professionals were generally low, 39.3% were below the primary profession title; rehabilitation professionals were lack of educational background, 34.2% were college degree or below; low salary lead to low competence to other industries, 66.4% employees were paid 2000 to 4000 Yuan (RMB) per month; rehabilitation institutions were most in need of rehabilitative physicians, speech therapists and psychotherapists; lack of professionals, lack of bonus and space limitation ranked the top three of the restrictive factors. Conclusion:At present, the contradiction that the quantity and quality of rehabilitation talents cannot meet the increasing demand of rehabilitation is becoming more and more prominent. To solve the root of the problem, we need to start with the cultivation of talents, and the government needs to give policy support, open green pass and give strong assistance in cultivation of talents, academic title evaluation, salary levels, and policy guarantee system of rehabilitation to promote the rapid, sustaining and healthy development of rehabilitation industry.

Objective To compare the effect on preserving rat amputated extremities during the cold preservation between the UW solution and HTK solution.Methods Thirty healthy adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (10 rats in each group) for producing the models of amputated limbs of rats.The three groups were separately irrigated the amputated limbs with UW solution,HTK solution and saline from femoral artery.After irrigation,the extremities were preserved in the refrigerator at 4 ℃.Samples of skeleton muscle tissue were taken for pathological and biochemical examination every 6 hours since the amputation.Results After perfusion,HE:changes of organizational structures of skeletal muscle were lighter in experimental groups than in control group (saline-perfusion group) at the same time.While samples in UW solution-perfusion group has lighter changes of organizational structure than those in HTK solution-perfusion group.TEM:at 12 h,all the three groups have shown the mitochondria edema.At 24 h,the myofibril in saline-perfusion group become fragments.Biochemical examination:at 24 h,indexes in salineperfusion group,HTK solution group and UW solution group were:ALP (U/L) 3.62 ± 1.32,3.37 ± 0.84 and 2.68 ± 1.59,respectively;ALT(U/L) 542.25 ± 129.36,521.82 ± 97.32 and 462.53 ± 74.18,respectively;AST (U/L) 2200.12 ± 687.61,2002.20 ± 632.27 and 1742.87 ± 396.09,respectively;CK(U/L) 313190.83 ± 42041.32,283173.50 ± 31488.87 and 271319.67 ± 41147.52,respectively;LDH (U/L) 32409.50 ± 4253.20,30382.50 ± 2337.18 and 30047.83 ± 4628.78,respectively;GLU(mmol/L) 0.242 ± 0.041、0.240 ± 0.044 and 0.252 ± 0.049,respectively;LAC (mmol/L) 1.790 ± 0.160,1.792 ± 0.196 and 1.993 ± 0.366,respectively;SOD(U/mL) 80.82 ± 9.46,91.62 ± 14.97 and 73.71 ± 10.60,respcctively.There were statistical difference among the UW solution-perfusion group and centrol group in ALP and GLU (P ＜ 0.05).UW solution-perfusion group has better results than HTK solution-perfusion group in SOD (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Amputated limbs irrigated with organ preservation solution as a way to protect skeletal muscle had great effects on lightening tissue damage and keeping tissue active.Between the two usual organ preservation solution,UW solution had a stronger protective effects on the amputated limbs than HTK solution.
