Objective To observe the clinical effects of Naloxone and Methylprednisolone(MPS) on therapy of severe bronchiolitis. Methods 98 cases of severe bronchihtis were randomly divided into 2 groups, the Naloxone/MPS treating group and the control group, the later only give regular treatment. Results The Naloxone/MPS treating group scored significantly lower at the time of 48 hours and 5 days(P<0.001),according to cough, dyspnia and other respiratory symptoms, and the efficacy of Naloxone/MPS treatment is appreciately higher than control(P<0.01). Conclusion Naloxone and MPS therapy shows remarkable clinical beneficial effects on severe bronchiolitis.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2012;10(4):375-9
From the point of view of systems science, human body can be considered as a complex system, and the human health system is a subsystem of it. Systems science conducts investigation in a holistic manner. As a theoretical method, it deals with the operation and evolution of systems from the macroscopic perspective, so this theory is similar to phenomenological theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in methodology. Naturally, numerous theories of systems science can be used in research of the human health systems of TCM. In this paper, the authors introduced synergetics, a theory of modern systems science, and its slaving principle, and in particular, analyzed the concept of order parameters related to the slaving principle and the relationship between body constitutions of TCM and order parameters. The body constitution of TCM can be treated as a slow variable in the human health systems. By using synergetics, the authors established a model of the human health system based on body constitutions of TCM. As an application of the model, the authors illustrated the argumentations in the theory of constitution being separable, the theory of a relationship between constitution and disease, and the theory of a recuperable constitution. To some extent, this work has made links between the TCM theory of body constitution and modern systems science, and it will offer a new thought for modeling the human health system.

Objective To optimize the extracting condition of total isoflavones from Fructus Sophorae by subcritical water extraction. Methods Taking isoflavones yield as index and genistin as control, the technology parameter of subcritical water extraction of Fructus Sophorae isoflavones was optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiment. Results The yield of Fructus Sophorae total isoflavones in the extracts was 23.3% at 130 ℃ for 45 min with the liquid-solid ratio of 12.5 mL/g.Conclusion Compared with traditional extracting methods, subcritical water extraction is a new developing technology in recent years. Its advantage is fast,good-selective.

Objective To explore the factors affecting the quality of life in patients with Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods The quality of life, severity of disease, activities of daily living, motor responses, mental state and the complications of treatment in 71 patients with PD were evaluated by the PD Quality of Life Questionnaire(PDQL),Unified PD Rating Scale(UPDRS),the Hoehn-Yahr scale, the Schwab and England disability scale, the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression(HRSD),and meanwhile factors such as age, gender, age of onset, the beginning symptom, the location of onset, smoking, doses of L-dopa and fluctuations etc were evaluated by some methods. Results Bivariate analysis showed that the longer course of disease and treatment, the more doses of L-dopa,the higher scores of UPDRS and the Hoehn-Yahr scale, and depression fluctuations with patients, the worse quality of life they had(P

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of choledochoscopy and duodenoscopy in the treatment of residual calculus of the intrahepatic bile duct. Methods Clinical data of 573 cases of choledochoscopy and 36 cases of duodenoscopy from February 1985 to June 2004 were analyzed. Results Stones were completely removed under choledochoscope by way of T-tube sinus tract in 96.02% of patients (507/528) and by way of subcutaneous blind loop in 84.62% of patients (22/26). Percutaneous transhepatic choledochoscope placement was successfully conducted in 84.21% of patients (16/19) and stones were completely removed in 78.95% of the patients (15/19). The success rate of duodenoscopic cholangiography was 91.67% (33/36) and stones were completely removed under duodenoscope in 80.56% of patients (29/36). Conclusions Treatment of residual and recurrent calculus of the intrahepatic bile duct by choledochoscopy and duodenoscopy is effective and convenient.

Objective To investigate the influence of aging on motor function, binding activity and protein expression level of striatum dopamine transporter(DAT)of rats. Methods Rolling-bar test was performed to assess motor function.Western blot and 131I-FP-β-CIT up-take ratio were used to evaluate DAT protein 1evel and striatum DAT binding activity respectively. Results There were an age-related decline of rolling-bar latency and striatum 131I-FP-β-CIT up-take ratio in rats older than6 months. There was a significant difference between 6-month-old rats and older rats(12-month-old rats,16-month-old rats,20-month-old rats),and rolling-bar latency was correlated with striatum 131I-FP-β-CIT up-take ratio(r=0.656,P<0.01).There was no change in DAT protein 1evel during aging process. Conclusions The age-related decline of motor function of rats was correlated with the decreasing of striatum DAT binding activity. The synaptic membrane expression of striatum DAT may decrease in aged rats.

Objective To explore the expressions of interleukin (IL)-17A and its receptor IL-17RA in different degrees of malignant gliomas. Methods Fifty patients with glioma were collected in this study. Accordance to the World Health Organization Classification System, patients were classified by malignancy grade, including gradeⅠ(n=12), gradeⅡ(n=18), gradeⅢ(n=13) and gradeⅣ(n=7). The glioma tissue and peripheral blood samples of patients were obtained for detecting the expression levels of IL-17A and IL-17RA mRNA by using immunohistochemistry, quantitative real-time PCR. Western blot assay was used to detect expressions of IL- 17A and IL- 17RA in both the macroscopic (immunohistochemistry) and molecular levels (mRNA and protein). Results Immunohistochemical staining showed that the expression levels of IL-17A and its receptor IL-17RA increased with the increase of the malignant degree of gliomas. The mRNA levels of IL-17A and IL-17RA receptors in peripheral blood were up-regulated with the increasing malignancy grade of glioma (F=8.96, P<0.05;F=10.34, P<0.05). The mRNA levels of IL-17A and IL-17RA in glioma tissues were up-regulated with the increasing malignancy grade of glioma (F=11.21, P<0.05;F=14.11, P<0.05). The protein levels of IL-17A and IL-17RA in peripheral blood and glioma tissues were also up-regulated with the increasing malignancy grade of glioma (in peripheral blood:F=9.90, P<0.05;F=11.80, P<0.05;and in gliomas tissues:F=8.15, P<0.05;F=14.46, P<0.05). Conclusion The expressions of IL-17A and IL-17RA receptor are positively correlated with malignancy grade of glioma. These results provide some reference for clinical diagnosis of malignant gliomas.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(8):974-977
Structural heart disease includes congenital cardiovascular structural abnormalities, valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathy, which shows the common features of cardiac anatomical structure and hemodynamic abnormalities, especially anatomical abnormalities. Echocardiography, especially three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound, is good at displaying anatomical structure and blood flow abnormalities. As a non-invasive method of examination, it has advantage in the evaluation of such heart diseases. In recent years, the gradual rise of 3D printing technology can make physical printing, and the printed heart model can stereoscopically display abnormal state of heart diseases. Ultrasound combined with 3D printing technology may provide more intuitive and accurate information for the assessment of structural heart disease.
