Methods:
Case data of malaria in Lishui City from 2012 to 2023 were collected from the Parasitic Disease Control Information Management System of the National Information System for Disease Control and Prevention in China. The parasite species, source of infection, temporal distribution, population distribution, geographical distribution, and clinical diagnosis and treatment of the cases were descriptively analyzed.
Results:
A total of 169 malaria cases were reported in Lishui City from 2012 to 2023, and P. falciparum malaria was the main type, accounting for 79.88% (135 cases). The positive rate of Plasmodium detection was 3.30‰(169/51 212), the highest was 5.41‰ (18/3 327) in 2017, and the lowest was 0.38‰ (1/2 632) in 2021. Malaria cases were reported in every month from 2012 to 2023, with 91 cases (53.85%) reported from May to October. There were 168 imported cases, of which 163 (96.45%) originated from Africa. There were 127 male cases (75.15%), and the majority of cases were aged 20 to 49 years, with 138 cases accounting for 81.65%. The majority of the occupation was overseas labor export workers, with 164 cases accounting for 97.04%. A total of 161 cases (95.27%) were registered residents of Lishui City, and cases were reported from all nine counties (cities, districts), with Qingtian County and Liandu District having the higher numbers of 98 and 41 cases, respectively. The median interval from onset to hospital visit for malaria cases was 2.00 (interquartile range, 4.00) days, and the median interval from hospital visit to diagnosis was 0 (interquartile range, 1.00) day. The diagnostic rate of first-diagnosed malaria cases in municipal and county medical institutions was 95.90% (117/122) and 91.49% (43/47), respectively, with no statistical significance (P>0.05).
Conclusions
The P. falciparum malaria was the predominant type in Lishui City from 2012 to 2023, with the majority of cases being imported. Male overseas labor export personnel aged 20 to <50 were the key demographic.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects of the superficial venous trunk (SVT) and its nourishing vessels on early revascularization of the reverse-flow random flap in order to provide theoretical evidences for clinical applications.
METHODSThe morphologic changes of micrangium of the reverse-flow random flap with SVT and without SVT were observed at different phases and compared by optical microscopy and stereological methods.
RESULTSThe micrangium density of the flaps with SVT and without SVT showed a tendency of increasing at 3 days after the operation. At 5 to 10 days, the micrangium density of the flap with SVT was much higher than the flap without SVT. There was significant difference between the two groups, which was proved by the optical microscopy observation.
CONCLUSIONSThis study suggests that SVT and its nourishing vessels could promote early revascularization of the flap after transplantation. The SVT can be of benefit to the survival of the reverse-flow random flap.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the loss of heterozygosity (LOH) of chromosome 20 in patients with sporadic colorectal cancer to identify additional loci involved in colorectal tumorigenesis.
METHODSPolymorphic microsatellite markers were analyzed in 83 colorectal cancer patients' tumor and normal DNA by PCR. PCR products were electrophoresed on an 377 DNA sequencer. Genescan 2.1 and Genotype 2.1 software were used in the LOH scanning and analysis. Comparisons between LOH frequency and clinicopathological data were performed by chi(2) test. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
RESULTSThe average LOH frequency in the long arm, short arm and whole chromosome 20 was 21.1%, 26.7% and 22.8%, respectively. Chromosome 20 exhibited relatively high LOH frequency, particularly in the regions of 20p and 20q11.1-q13.1.
CONCLUSIONThere is notable genetic instability on chromosome 20 in sporadic colorectal carcinoma patients; that is, mutation on chromosome 20 is closely associated with sporadic colorectal carcinogenesis. Also, there may be tumor suppressor genes related to sporadic colorectal carcinoma near the region 20q11.1-q13.1.

ObjectiveTo analyze the changing trend of cerebrovascular disease burden in Minhang District of Shanghai from 1996 to 2021, and to provide scientific evidence for government to formulate targeted cerebrovascular disease prevention and control strategies. MethodsMortality, years of life lost(YLL), years of lived with disability(YLD) and disability⁃adjusted life years(DALY) were used to evaluate the burden of cerebrovascular diseases in Minhang District. Joinpoint linear regression was used to analyze the trend of disease burden. ResultsFrom 1996 to 2021, the YLL rate of cerebrovascular diseases in Minhang District showed a downward trend (whole population: APC=-1.69%, t=-6.9, P<0.05), The YLD rate of cerebrovascular diseases showed a slow upward trend (whole population: APC=1.17%, t=3.5, P<0.05), The DALY rate of cerebrovascular diseases showed a downward trend, and fluctuated since 2003 (whole population: APC= -1.43%, t=-5.6, P<0.05). The YLL rate of cerebrovascular diseases in men was higher than that in women, and the YLD rate of cerebrovascular diseases in women was higher than that in men. After 2014, the DALY of cerebrovascular diseases in men was higher than that in women. With the increase of age, the burden of cerebrovascular diseases increased, and the burden of disease increased significantly in the age group above 70. ConclusionThe burden of cerebrovascular diseases in Minhang District is at a high level, and there are differences in age, gender and other aspects. Measures such as screening, intervention and rehabilitation need to be improved to reduce disability and premature death caused by cerebrovascular diseases and to reduce the burden of cerebrovascular diseases on individuals, families and society.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference f or the qualit y sta ndard establishment of Amaranthus retroflexus. METHODS : Taking 7 batches of A. retroflexus medicinal materials as the research object ,the appearance properties of the medicinal materials were investigated ,and the microscopic characteristics of the medicinal powders were observed. TLC method was adopted to qualitatively identify rutin ,valine and leucine in A. retroflexus medicinal materials. According to the relevant methods of the 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (part Ⅳ),water content ,total ash content ,acid-insoluble ash content and water-soluble extract content were determined. HPLC method was used to determine the content of rutin in the medicinal material of A. retroflexus . The determination was performed on Agilent 5 TC-C18(2)column with mobile phase consisted of methanol- 0.3% phosphoric acid solution(40∶60,V/V),at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 358 nm,and the column temperature was 30 ℃. The sample size was 10 μL. RESULTS:The appearance and microstructure characteristics of the medicinal materials were consistent with the existing description. The identification results of TLC meth od showed that 7 batches of medicinal materials and each reference substance (rutin, valine, leucine)showed spots of the same color at the same position. The moisture content of 7 batches of A. retroflexus medicinal materials was 7.43%-8.72%,the total ash content was 11.82%-13.78%,the acid-insoluble ash content was 0.15%-0.55%,and the water-soluble extract content was 17.27%-24.74%. The linear range of rutin was 10-200 μg/mL(R 2=1.000 0). RSDs of precision test ,stability test (24 h)and repeatability test were all less than 2.0% (n=6). The average recovery rates of rutin were 99.14%,97.98% and 98.80% in low ,medium and high concentration of samples, and RSDs were 0.97%,0.95%,0.96%(n=3). The contents of rutin in 7 batches of A. retrophylla were 0.314-1.102 mg/g. CONCLUSIONS:In this study ,character observation ,microscopic identification ,moisture content ,total ash content ,acid- insoluble ash content and water-soluble extract content of A. retroflexus are investigated ;TLC method was established for qualitative identification of leucine ,valine and rutin in A. retroflexus ,and the HPLC method was established for content determination of rutin. It provides reference for the quality standard establishment of A. retroflexus .
