1.New perspectives of glycogen storage disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(1):62-65
Glycogen storage diseases (GSD) are a group of inherited disorders characterized by enzyme defects that affect the glycogen metabolism. Hypoglycemia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and growth retardation are the main clinical manifestations. The enzymes affecting glycogen synthesis and degradation are varied.Consequently, the clinical manifestations are different because of different enzyme defection. Most patients treated regularly can obtain the normal growth and grow to adults, but still can be accompanied long-term complications by adulthood. Now some scientists find new modified cornstarch is superior to standard therapy in maintaining blood glucose levels. Gene therapy is still in the experimental animals.
2.Research advancement on triple negative breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(5):371-375
Triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) is defined by the lack of estrogen receptor (ER) , progesterone receptor (PR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 ( Her-2) expression. It is a subtype of tumor with distinct clinical and pathologic features and lacks effective targeted therapies. It is non - sensitive to endocrine therapy and targeted therapy drug herceptin, leaving chemotherapy as the mainstay of treatment The feature and the treatment of TNBC is the hotspot of resent research.
4.Investigation of Probationer Nurses' Knowledge About Nosocomial Infection in Clean Operating-room
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(13):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate probationer nurses' knowledge about nosocomial infection (NI) and clean operating-room. METHODS Survey among probationer nurses was performed by self-designed questionnaires. RESULTS 47% probationer nurses thought it very necessary to strength knowledge about NI before probation. The scores of clean operating-room knowledge was lower than that nosocomial infection (NI); The cognition rate among high educated probationer nurses were higher than low educated,P
5.Effect of Overtraining on Skeletal Muscle Glycogen,AMPK Activity and Sarcolemma GLUT4 Protein Content in Rats
Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 2003;0(06):-
Objective The purpose of the present study was to observe the muscle glucose metabolism by determining the changes in sarcolemma GLUT4 protein content and muscle AMPK activity in overtraining rats. Methods Twenty-seven SD rats were randomly divided into group A(sedentary),group B(underwent endurance exercise 60 minutes/day)and group C(underwent endurance exercise 120 minutes/day).Both exercise groups trained 6 days/wk for 9 weeks.Muscle glycogen, sarcolemma GLUT4 contents and muscle AMPK activity were determined after the 9-week training. Results Sarcolemma GLUT4 content and muscle AMPK activity increased, muscle glycogen contents tended to rise in group B as compared with that in group A.Sarcolemma GLUT4 content and muscle AMPK activity decreased, but muscle glycogen contents were equivalent in group C as compared with that in group B.Conclusion Muscle AMPK activity deceased, and the translocation of GLUT4 protein was inhibited in the overtraining rats. The results could not support a glycogen depletion hypothesis.
6.Isolation, culture, induction, differentiation and application of hepatic stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(12):-
Present basic researches on hepatic stem cells have obtained great progress. It is believed that hepatic stem cells can differentiate into hepatic cells and biliary duct cells. Hepatic stem cells are isolated and cultured by two-step collagenase digestion method, density gradient centrifugation, centrifugal elutriation, fluorescent activation screening method and immunomagnetic beads screening method. Directional differentiation of hepatic stem cells is a complicated process, which is affected by exterior and interior cell factors under liver microenvironment where are beneficial to growth, differentiation and function of stem cells. Hepatocyte growth factor can promote the proliferation of hepatic stem cells, and accelerate the differentiation into mature hepatic cells. Transcription factor of hepatic cells play a crucial effect in regulating the differentiation of hepatic stem cells. Incomplete or abnormal differentiation of hepatic stem cells can be responsible for liver cancer. Hepatic stem cells are the potential carrier cells as a target gene for liver cancer.
7.Participation of Clinical Pharmacists in the Treatment of One Case of Adverse Reaction Induced by Trastu-zumab
China Pharmacist 2015;18(12):2112-2113,2116
Objective:To explore the participation of clinical pharmacists in drug treatment. Methods:Clinical pharmacists car-ried out pharmaceutical ward round, and understood the medication history of one breast cancer patient with postoperative pneumonia. They thought the induction possibility of trastuzumab likely to be non infectious pulmonary infiltration. Combined with the drug instruc-tions, relevant literatures and case report, they put forward suggestions for the medication, and participated in the formulation of drug therapy. Results:The suggestions of clinical pharmacists were adopted, and on the second day of methylprednisolone sodium succinate treatment, the symptoms of the patient were improved, and the results of the imaging examination also tended to be improved without recurrence. Conclusion:The participation of clinical pharmacists in the formulation of clinical medication has important significance for improving the level of clinical treatment.

9.Comparison of full field digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis in predicting size of ductal carcinoma in situ
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2017;33(9):1349-1352
Objective To compare the accuracy of full field digital mammography (FFDM) and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) in predicting size of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).Methods Totally 30 women pateints with DCIS confirmed by histology were analyzed retrospectively. Two radiologists measured the size of the lesions on FFDM,DBT images respectively, and compared with pathological results. Two kinds of inspection methods correlation with pathology were compared with Pearson correlation analysis. Results Size of DCIS measured by doctor 1 and doctor 2 between FFDM and histology had correlation (r=0.857,0.818,both P<0.01),and those between DBT and histology also had correlation (r=0.924,0.885,both P<0.01).Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) of two doctors was 0.947 on FFDM,and 0.908 on DBT.Conclusion DBT provides a better estimation of the size of DCIS.Two physicians had high consistency for lesion size evaluation. For DCIS with microcalcifications, both FFDM and DBT provide smaller estimations compared with pathology, thus a bigger surgical resection of lesion is needed.
10.Connotation exploration of vessel and meridian: from concretization to abstraction.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(5):497-500
According to the records in Neijing (Internal Classic), this article discusses the relationship during the connotative evolution of mai (vessel) and jing (meridian) in the three aspects, named mai (vessels), the evolution from mai (vessel) to jing (meridian), and the connotation replacement of jing (meridian) with mai (vessel). The study results show that the connotation of Jingmai is originated from mai (vessel), but more enriched, which cannot be confused with each other. The recognition on the connotation of jingmai from mai (vessel) to jing (meridian) is the process of TCM understanding from concretization to abstraction, and from the entity to the concept. Jing (meridian) represents the law on the longitudinal and invariable running course of meridian, differenti from the perspective in western medicine in human body. This law results from the naive observation and is based on the rational summary and thinking, and it stands up the approval from practice. The description of jing (meridian) as mai (vessel) is just the superficial description of this term. In fact, its concept infers to the connotation of meridian.
