3.Optimization of the Preparation Technology of Baicalein Sustained Release Microspheres by Central Composite Design
China Pharmacy 2007;0(30):-
OBJECTIVE:To optimize the preparation technology of Baicalein sustained release microspheres.METHODS:The microspheres containing baicalein were prepared using solvent evaporation technique.Multiple linear regression equation and quadratic polynomial equation were fitted respectively with the mass ratio of the matrix materials, sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)concentration in water phase and drug content as independent variables, and with the accumulative drug release percentage at 2,12 and 24 h(Y1,Y2,Y3)as dependent variables.RESULTS:The baicalein sustained release microspheres prepared in accordance with the above technology were spherical and even. The optimized technical conditions were as follows:the drug content was 25%;the ratio of the matrix materials was 3.5;SDS concentration was 0.08%;Y1,Y2 and Y3 were 21.05%,55.70% and 87.75%,respectively.All the three equations fitted using quadratic polynomial equations achieved good fitting results.CONCLUSION:Central composite design is convenient to use and it has satisfactory predictability thus deserving popularization.
4.The Effects of Diazepam on Vestibular Compensation Following Unilateral Labyrinth injury
Chinese Journal of Trauma 1990;0(03):-
This report presents two cases of unilateral acute labyrinth loss resulted from injury, each showing delay in compensation possibly due to long-term administration of diazepam. The recent literature of the effects of the drugs onyestibular compensation is reviewed. The vestibular"suppressants"property of diazepam delays compensation when used on a long-term basis. However,it might be useful in controlling vege- tative symptoms and thereby possibly facilitate compensation when used on a short- tern basis.
5.Studies on the anti-idiotypic antibodies against anti-HBs
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(01):-
Hightiter anti-idiotypic antibodies(Ab_2)sera and two monoclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies (McAb_2)were repared by immunizating syngeneic BALB/c mice wth a complex of 7A_4 monoclonalantibody(McAb_1)against the a eterminant of the Hepatitis B Surface antiger(HBsAg)。Both Ab_2sera and McAb_2 recognize the idiotype of aratope n 7A_4McAb_1.Ab_2 sera contain the antibodiesbinding specially to anti-HBs from other species(guinea pig、onkey、rabbit and goat)and the twoMcAb_2 can not bind to these anti-HBs.Therefore it is thought that the two McAb_ re noninternalimage(Ab_2?)anti-idiotypic antibodies, this study proves that the McAb_1 against he eterminantof the HBsAg are different in their paratope,The McAb_2 can be used to stinguish the parotope onthe McAb_1 as a biological probe.
6.Comparison of Corneal Injury between Phaco-emulsification and Extracapsular Lens Removal in Rabbits
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
40 rabbits are used to study the effects of phaco-emulsification and extracap-sular lens removal or; corneal endothelial cells and corneal thickness. With the specular microscope, the preoperative cell morphology, cell density and thickness of cornea are revealed. The endothelial cell counts decrease 16% (at central) and 14% (at the periphery) after the surgery with phaco-emulsification and 25% (central) and 22% (periphery) with extracapsular lens removal. Corneal thickness increases in both groups. Scanning electron microscopy shows some alterations in morphology of endothelial cell injury significantly different in the 2 groups. According to these results the causes of corneal thickness increasing and mechanism of endothelial cell injury are approached and a new procedure preventing the cell injury and decreasing cornea edema in both groups is designed.

9.Investigation in psychological state and it's correlation factors of family members of dderly cancerpatients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(24):63-64
Objective To investigate the psychological state and its correlation factors of family members of elderly cancer patients. Methods A total of 76 family members of elderly cancer patients were investigated with questionnaires with Zung's self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS). Their psychological state and its correlation factors were analyzed. Results Incidence rate of anxiety of elderly cancer patients' family members was 52.63%, and incidence rate of depression was 46.05%. The mean standard score of SAS and SDS of elderly cancer patients' family members were both significantly higher than domestic norm. Difference of family member's gender, ways to pay health care fee, pain degree and disease condition led to different SAS and SDS score. Conclusions Family members of elderly cancer patients possessed different degree of psychological obstacle which related with multiple factors. Medical staff should not only think highly of patients' psychological state, but also their family members'. And meanwhile they should take corresponding strategy to reduce the incidence rate of anxiety and depression state in those family members.
