1.Reseach of Mental Health State of 4th-year Medical Students

The mental health state of the 256 fourth-year medical students of Kunming Medical College was preliminarily analyzed by requiring. The students fill in the inquiry sheets (questionare) in a question-and-answer way. The ages of these 136 male and 120 female students ranged from 19 to 23 years old, and the self-desiged 109 items of the investigation were induced into 8 aspects related to the mental health such as the outlook on life etc. The result showed that these are differences between the mental health state of the senior medical students and the traditional ideas, morality, manners of education etc. Some initial points of view were put toward.
2.Glucosylceramide synthase in tumor multidrug- resistance

Glucosylceramide synthase(GCS) plays an important role in ceramide metabolism and can block apoptosis signal pathway which is mediated by ceramide. Recently, studies have demonstrated that overex-pression of GCS exists in various muhidrug resistant cancer cell lines and is related to drug resistant pheno-type. A possible connection between GCS and P-gp is also suggested. Moreover,the level of GCS can be down-regulated to increase tumor cells sensitivity by chemical inhibitor and RNA interference. Thus, inhibition of ac-tivity and expression of GCS is a new mechanism of reversing muhidrug resistance.
3.Protracted bacterial bronchitis of children

Protracted bacterial bronchitis (PBB) is a common cause of children chronic cough,especially in those aged 1 ~ 6 years.It is defined by the presence of persistent wet cough for longer than 4 weeks,but lacks of symptoms or signs of other alternative diagnosis of chronic cough.It shows a normal or near-normal chest radiograph,a intense neutrophilia in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),and a chronic purulent bronchitis under bronchochoscopy,and usually resolves after two-week course of appropriate oral antibiotic (usually amoxicillin-clavulanatc).So far,PBB hasn't been fully recognized by most pediatricians,and often been unrecognised or misdiagnosed as asthma.In this paper,pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment are reviewed.
4.Effect of Ligustrazine on Pulmonary Fibrosis Caused by Hyperoxia in Neonatal Rats

Objective To explore the protective effect of Ligustrazine on pulmonary fibrosis caused by hyperoxia in neonatal rats.Met-hods Eighty Sprague-Dawley(SD)clean neonatal rats,which were less than 12 hours old,were enrolled in this study.The neonatal rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:air-exposed control group(group A);air-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group B);hype-roxia-exposed control group(group C);hyperoxia-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group D).The neonatal rats of group B and group D were intraperitoneally injected with Ligustrazine[30 mg/(kg?d)] in solution of normal saline(NS),group A and group C were intraperitoneally given the same dose of NS.On 14th day,10 rats of each group were randomly chosen and then killed,the pulmonary pathological changes were observed by HE staining under light microscope.The area percentages of collagen fibers were measured by Masson staining and imaging analysis.The degree of pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated by the area percentages of collagen fibers and hydroxyproline content.The results were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software.Results On the 14th day of the exposure,the histopathologic examination demonstrated broadened lung interstitium and reduced alveolar quantity and lung fibrosis were developed in group C;Ligustrazine treatment obviously alle-viated the changes of lung histomorphology.The newborn rats in group C had lower body weight compared that of with group A,B(Pa0.05).Conclusion Early use of Ligustrazine can decrease the severity of the pulmonary fibrosis of neonatal rats exposed to hyperoxia.
5.Pharmacological effects of drugs mediated by calcitonin gene-related peptide:a review

Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), a predominant neurotransmitter in sensory nerves, is widely distributed in central and peripheral tissues. In the cardiovascular system, besides relaxing vascular smooth muscle, CGRP protects against ischemic myocardium while inhibiting cardiac remodeling. The pharmacological effects of nitroglycerin and rutaecarpine have proved to be associated with the increase in the synthesis and release of CGRP. In gastrointestinal tissues, CGRP participates in the regulation of gastrointestinal function and has protective effects on the gastric mucosa. Rutaecar?pine, capsaicin and its derivatives can reduce gastric mucosa damage induced by a variety of factors by increasing synthesis and release of CGRP.
6.The relationship between vaccination and febrile seizure、GEFS+ and Dravet syndrome

Vaccination in children suffering neurological diseases is a troublesome issue that people es-pecially pediatricians are reluctant to mention. Due to worrying about the emergence of adverse reactions and concerning on the heat induced seizure,doctors and parents tend to cancel or do not recommend these children to be vaccinated. Additionally,the heat sensitive seizures,such as febrile seizure( FS) ,generalized epilepsy with fe-brile seizure plus(GEFS+),Dravet syndrome account for the largest proportion of the seizure related disease and epilepsy syndrome. Their pathogenesis has been proved relating to the mutation of SCN gene of the sodium channel. For children with FS,GEFS+,and Dravet syndrome,vaccination may lead to fever,which even may bring about convulsions,but it will not result in worse prognosis.
7.Effect of Shenfu injection(参附注射液)on hemodynamics and oxygen delivery metabolism in dogs with cardiogenic shock

Objective To evaluate the effect of Shenfu injection(参附注射液) on hemodynamics and oxygen delivery(DO2) metabolism in dogs with cardiogenic shock.Methods A dog model of acute myocardial infarction was made by ligating the midpoint of left coronary artery.When the cardiogenic shock was found by the Swan-Gans vessel,18 dogs with cardiogenic shock were divided randomly into three groups: Shenfu,dopamine and control groups.The following drugs were intravenously administered: Shenfu injection 1 ml/kg to the Shenfu group,dopamine 10 ?g?kg-1?min-1 to the dopamine group and NaCl 5 ml/kg to the control group.Before the model was made and after the drugs were given for 30,60,90,120 and 180 minutes,the changes of the parameters of hemodynamics were monitored through the Swan-Gans vessel,inculding cardiac output(CO),pulmonary arterial wedge pressure(PAWP), pulmonary artery pressure(PAP),central venous pressure(CVP),heart rate(HR),blood pressure(BP) and angiosthenia(AP).Then the results of stroke volume(SV),stroke work(SW),mean arterial blood pressure(MAP),systemic vascular resistance(SVR) and pulmonary circulation resistance(PVR) were calculated by formulae.Arterial blood and mixed venous blood were used for blood gas analysis to measure and calculate the following hemodynamic parameters: DO2,oxygen consumption(VO2) and oxygen uptake rate(ERO2).The results were compared.Results ① In the control group,after NaCl was given,CO,SV,SW,HR and MAP were decreased gradually at the time points,while the PVR,PAWP and CVP were progressively increased at the same time(all P
8.Fuzzy Grouping Analysis on Herbs for Promoting Blood Circulation to Remove Blood Stasis

OBJECTIVE:To classify the herbs for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis.METHODS:Database of 33 commonly used herbs for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis was established by means of SPSS10.0 software package;and the nature,tastes,meridian attributions and actions of the herbs were collected as variables showing the characteristics of classification,and the names of the herbs served as variables for measurement to proceed Q Cluster in Hierarchical Cluster.RESULTS:When the herbs were classified into 4 groups,the first group included the herbs for promoting blood circulation to restore menstrual flow,the second the herbs for promoting blood circulation to arrest pain and dissipate tumor,the third the herbs of herbs for activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and kill pain,the fourth the herbs for severely activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis.When the herbs were classified into 5 groups,the fifth group included herbs for activating blood circulation to cure wound.When the herbs were classified into 6 groups,the third one included the herbs for activating blood circulation to exclude wind and the sixth the herbs for activating blood circulation to stanch blood.CONCLUSION:Fuzzy grouping analysis can be applied to classify herbs of different kinds yet with the same efficacy and to classify the same group of herbs according to their drug actions.
9.Exploration in the Teaching Reform of Medical Ethics in the Department of Health Supervision

In order to accelerate the comprehensive reform of clinical education,the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health decided to implement the program of excellent doctor education training plan in 2012.On the basis of the plan,taking a certain medical college as an example,on the problems such as lack of teachers,unreasonable age structure,the lack of advanced experimental technology and comprehensive talents and the lack of innovation and enterprising spirit and so on,the author puts forward some proposals from the development of experimental teaching,the teachers' personal and professional growth and the institutional and policy level,such as strengthening the foreign exchange,making learning training plan and personal development planning,establishing the evaluation system of the experiment teaching quality and opening up a variety of learning methods to improve the teachers' comprehensive ability.
