1.Analysis of Serum TSH and TH Level Changes in the First Trimester of Pregnancy

Objective To provide the theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of the related diseases by the com-parative analysis of serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)and thyroid hormone (TH)[three iodine thyroid glycine (T3),thyroxine (T4),three free iodine thyroid former glycine (FT3)and free thyroxine (FT4)]levels between early preg-nant women and non-pregnant healthy women of childbearing age.Method Examined in the outpatient department of Yan’ an University Affiliated Hospital during 2013 November~2014 March,171 healthy women in 4~13 weeks of pregnancy were regarded as the observation group.In addition,149 non pregnant healthy women of childbearing age were regarded as the control group,who got physical examination in the hospital.The inclusion criteria were:no thyroid diseases history;no living history in local thyroid tumorarea;excluding the abnormal functionof thyroid diseases after history investigation and relevant examination.The detection method of serum TSH,T3,T4,FT3 and FT4 was the direct chemiluminescence assay. With reference of serum TSH and TH levels of the non-pregnant healthy women of childbearing age,the change of serum TSH and TH levels of early pregnant women was observed.Results Comparing the two groups,the pregnant women’s TSH level [1.97(1.17~2.65)mU/L],the non-pregnant women’s TSH level [2.42(1.73~3.58)mU/L],the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).The pregnant women’s serum T3 level [1.94(1.58~2.37)nmol/L]and T4 level [131.00 (111.60~147.80)nmol/L],the non-pregnant women’s T3 level [1.55 (1.37~1.86)nmol/L]and T4 level [109.30(94.95~122.90)nmol/L],the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).The pregnant women’s serum FT3 level [4.73(4.44~4.94)pmol/L]and FT4 level [14.88(13.83~16.33)pmol/L],the non-pregnant women’s FT3 lev-el [4.70(4.37~5.01)pmol/L]and FT4 level [15.06(13.54~17.35)pmol/L],they have no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Serum TSH and TH levels of women in the first trimester of pregnancy have different degrees of chan-ges.Therefore,thyroid function testing is necessary for pregnant women during childbirth examination.It can avoid the women and offspring from negative influence of pregnancy women with abnormal thyroid function and achieve the goal of eu-genics.
2.Application and prospect of fast-track surgery in gastric cancer

Fast-track surgery is the basis for the use of new medical evidence to optimize the management of perioperative patients.The surgeon forms a set of perioperative treatments by integrating and applying these new evidences to reduce the physical and psychological stress response of patients,and to speed up the rehabilitation of patients.Fast-track Surgery has been used in the treatment of a variety of diseases,including cardiac surgery,total knee replacement,and colorectal surgery.Gastric cancer was the fourth in the most common cancer sorts and the second in death rate in the world.Surgery is a milestone in the treatment of gastric cancer,and is the only effective means to cure.Fast-track surgeryy in the treatment of gastric cancer is still constantly improving.This article reviews the application of fast-track surgery in gastric cancer surgery.
3.Therapeutic effect of rosuvastatin on patients with hyperlipidemia complicated hyperuricemia

Objective:To evaluate therapeutic effect and safety of rosuvastatin on patients with hyperlipidemia com‐plicated hyperuricemia .Methods :A total of 88 patients with hyperlipidemia complicated hyperuricemia ,who were hospitalized in our hospital ,were selected ,randomly and equally divided into rosuvastatin group (10 mg/d) and atorvastatin group (20 mg/d) ,both groups were treated for eight weeks .Changes of levels of blood lipids and serum uric acid (SUA) were observed and compared between two groups before and after treatment .Results:Compared with before treatment ,after eight -week treatment ,there were significant reductions in levels of blood lipids (ex‐cept high density lipoprotein cholesterol ) and SUA in both groups , P<0.01 all;compared with atorvastatin group after treatment ,there were significant reductions in levels of total cholesterol [ (4.87 ± 0.47) mmol/L vs .(4.48 ± 0.53) mmol/L] in rosuvastatin group (P=0.04) ,and there was no significant difference in SUA level between two groups , P>0.05. There were all no more serious side effects in both groups .Conclusion:While reducing blood lipid levels ,rosuvastatin can also reduce serum uric acid level in patients with hyperlipidemia ,and it possesses good safety and tolerance .
4.Fingerprint of Zedoary turmeric oil by GC

AIM: To establish the method of fingerprinting analysis onZedoary turmeric oil by GC. Zedoary turmeric oil for the quality control of reference. METHODS: GC method was used to determine the fingerprint and its similarity of Zedoary turmeric oil calculated on Excel and cluster analysis. RESULTS: Seventeen samples of Zedoary turmeric oil indicated that there was a little similarity among them. Based on the cluster analysis, all the Zedoary turmeric oils could be divided into two categories, self-made and market purchasing oil, the latter oils purchased from Liaoning province and Jiangsu province varied considerably. Every category had a common fingerprint mode with clear resemblance. CONCLUSION: When finding the difference between the self-made and the marketpurchasing Zedoary turmeric oil, quality control requires serious consideration.

6.Clinical Study of Fructose Sodium Diphosphate in the Treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects and safety of fructose sodium diphosphate on cardiac function,myocardial injury markers,ischemia modified albumin (IMA) and copeptin in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).METHODS:In retrospective study,102 AMI patients were collected from Nanyang Second People's Hospital during Feb.2014-Apr.2015,and then divided into observation group and control group according to therapy plan,with 51 cases in each group.Both groups received routine therapy and symptomatic therapy as intravenous dripping of urokinase+ intravenous pump of heparin+oral admin istration of aspirin.Observation group was additionally given fructose sodium diphosphate 10 g intravenously,bid.Treatment courses of 2 groups lasted for 7-10 d.The changes of cardiac function indexes (LVDd,LVSd,LVEF),myocardial injury mark ers (cTn Ⅰ,CK-MB),IMA and copeptin were recorded in 2 groups before and after treatment.The cardiac function grading,the occurrence of ADR and adverse events were also recorded in 2 groups.RESULTS:Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in above indexes between 2 groups (P>0.05).12,24 h after treatment,LVDd and LVSd of 2 groups were shortened significantly,while LVEF and IMA levels were increased significantly,and CK-MB and copeptin levels were decreased significantly,compared to before treatment;the improvement of observation group was significantly better than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).cTn Ⅰ levels of 2 groups were increased gradually compared to before treatment [there was no statistical significance in observation group between 12 h after treatment and before treatment (P>0.05)];the increase of obser vation group was significantly smaller than that of control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).24 h after treatment,the proportion of cardiac function Killip grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ was 96.1% in observation group,which significantly higher than 78.4% in control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).No severe ADR was found in 2 groups,and there was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR (P>0.05).In respect of adverse events,the number of adverse events as severe arrhythmia,re current myocardial infarction,postinfarction angina pectoris and total incidence of ADE in observation group was significantly less or under than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05),besides there was no statistical significance in mortality between 2 groups (P>0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Routine symptomatic treatment combined with sodium fructose diphosphate in the treatment of AMI can effectively increase myocardial injury markers,copeptin and IMA levels,improve cardiac function and reduce the risk of adverse events so as to improve the quality of prognosis.
7.Simultaneous Contents Determination of Three Active Ingredients in Penyanjing Capsules by HPLC

Objective To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous contents determination of paeoniflorin, protocatechuic acid and chlorogenic acid in Penyanjing Capsule. Methods The chromatographic separation was performed on a SHIMADZU VP-ODS-C18 column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm); the column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃; A gradient elution of acetonitrile-0.15% phosphoric acid aqueous solution was adopted at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min; The UV detection wavelengths were at 231, 255, and 326 nm; The injection volume was 20 μL. Results Paeoniflorin, protocatechuic acid and chlorogenic acid could be separated efficiently with this condition. The regression equation was Y=1546.4128X+127.0756 (r=0.9999), Y=2925.8468X+2204.1076 (r=0.9998), Y=893.9045X-261.7315 (r=0.9994), respectively. Paeoniflorin, protocatechuic acid and chlorogenic acid were linear in the range of 150.054–1254.50 ng, 162.33–1352.75 ng, 11.43–95.25 ng, and the average recoveries were 97.60%, 102.09% and 98.52%. Conclusion The method is simple, convenient and accurate, which can be used to the quality control of Penyanjing Capsule.
8.Efficient transient expression to analyze miRNA targets in rice protoplasts.

Compared with the transgenic approach, transient assays provide a convenient alternative to analyze gene expression. To analyze the relationship between miRNAs and their target genes, a rice protoplast system to detect target gene activity was established. The MIRNA and GFP-fused target sequence (or GFP-fused mutated sequence as a non-target control) were constructed into the same plasmid, and then delivered into rice protoplasts. The GFP expression level decreased significantly when the protoplasts were transfected with the plasmid containing GFP-fused target compared to that of the plasmid with non-target sequence either by fluorescence microscopy or qRT-PCR method. Two microRNA genes, osaMIR156 and osaMIR397, and their target sequences were used to prove the feasibility of the rice protoplast transient assay system. This method will facilitate large-scale screening of rice miRNA target in vivo, and may be suitable for functional analysis of miRNAs of other monocot plants that might share the evolutionarily conserved small RNA processing system with rice.

9.The effect of glucagon-like peptide-1 in a dose related manner on glucose metabolism after hepatectomy in rats

Objective To investigate the effect of glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) in a dose related manner on glucose metabolism after 65% hepatectomy in rats.Methods We determined the serum glucose levels of hepatomized rats at 0,5,10,20,and 30 minutes after an intravenous glucose load(IVGTT,0.5 g/kg glucose) on the first postoperative day,and the changes of blood glucose,serum insulin and glucagon concentrations of hepatomized rats that received the volum load with normal saline or 0.3 nmol/kg GLP-1,0.45 nmol/kg GLP-1 respectively.Blood was drawn for determination of glucose(glucose oxidase),insulin,glucagon,and GLP-1(radioimmunoassay).Results The peak glucose and 30-minute glucose levels and the area under the curve(AUC 0-30) were significantly higher in the hepatomized rats compared to the control rats,which had not undergone any operation and received a same intravenous glucose load(0.5 g/kg glucose with normal saline)(P0.05).Nevertheless the peak glucose and 30-minute glucose levels and AUC 0-30 of the hepatomized rats that received with 0.45 nmol/kg GLP-1 were significantly lower compared to the rats that received the same volum load with normal saline or 0.3 nmol/kg GLP-1 respectively after liver resection.There was an increasing postoperative serum concentration of glucose,insulin,glucagon on the first day,then,the serum glucose concentration was significantly lowered after infusion of GLP-1 in rats undergoing hepatectomy(P

OBJECTIVE:To explore and extend a reasonable scheduling mode suitable for outpatient pharmacy.METHODS:The traditional scheduling mode was studied,and the fluctuation of the job intensity of dispensing personnel was revealed by drawing charts.In view of the disadvantage of the traditional scheduling mode,a new scheduling mode using mathematical conversion was adopted.RESULTS:Due to the new scheduling mode,the fluctuation of job intensity and the total man-hours were significantly decreased.CONCLUSIONS:Computing work intensity can help reasonably distribute and utilize the present human resources.
