The Journal of Practical Medicine 2014;(7):1056-1059
Objective To determine the role of valproate in the expression of SCN3A and provide new evidence for the clinical treatment of epilepsy. Methods We treated the N1E-115 cells with sodium valproate and examine the expression of SCN3A mRNA. We also constructed the expression vector of the SCN3A gene promoter then transfected the vector into N1E-115 cells ,respectively detected the level of SCN3A mRNA and the expression level of firefly luciferase of N1E-115 cells with valproate treated and untreated. Results Valproate inhibited the expression of SCN3A significantly including the level of SCN3A mRNA and luciferase protein. Conclusion Valproate inhibits the seizures by reducing the expression of the SCN3A, which provides a new understanding of the treatment of epilepsy.
2.Evaluation of pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy in pancreaticoduodenectomy
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2013;(2):105-108
Pancreatic fistula is a common complication after pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD),and other complications occurred secondary to it such as hemorrhage and severe abdominal infection are also the main cause of death after PD.Proper selection of anastomotic methods is essential to the success of PD.The most common anastomotic methods can be divided into pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy, but the effects of these methods have always been controversial consistently. In this paper, the effects of pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreatogastrostomy in the prevention of postoperative pancreatic fistula were synthetically analyzed based on recent research results.
3.Association between polymorphism of X-ray repair cross-complementing group 1 gene and radiation induced injury
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(2):105-108
X-ray repair cross-complementing group 1 gene ( XRCC1 ) serves as one key DNA repair gene. The polymorphism of XRCC1, resulting in the changes of corresponding amino acid and the effect of DNA repair, may contribute to the radiation injury of malignant tumor patients. Current studies have revealed that single nucleotide polymorphisms of XRCC1 may be involved in the radiation injury for patients with tumor. Nevertheless this correlation remains to be further investigated.

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(6):596-598
Objective To investigate the risk factors, clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of aortic dissection. Methods Forty-four patients with aortic dissection were analyzed from 2005 to 2008 in our hospital retrospectively. Results Hypertension was a common cause of aortic dissection. Aortic dissection showed diverse clinical manifestations. Chest pain was a common initial symptom, whereas some patients' initial symptoms were atypical(e. g. complications). CT and MRI examination could diagnose aortic dissection at a high accurate rate compared with echocardiography. However, ultrasound examination was cheap and convenient, thus could be used as routine examination when someone has suspected diagnosis. As to the treatment of aortic dissection, there were medical conservative, surgical and endovascular stent treatment Conclusions Hypertension is a major risk factor of aorticdissection. Aortic dissection showed diverse clinical manifestations, thus misdiagnosis may occur frequently. Medical treatment should combine a variety of antihypertensive drugs. Surgery or interventional therapy according to the clinical type and condition can reduce the fatality and improve the prognosis of patients.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(8):550-553
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the protective effect of celastrol on allergic rhinitis rats and its possible mechanism.
METHOD:
Allergic rhinitis (AR) model of rats was established by OVA. The behavioural characteris tics were observed at the 1st, 4th and 7th dayafter stimulation treatment. The levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) in the nasal mucosa breathing zone were measured. The expression of the nuclear factor erythroid 2 related factor 2 (NRF2) nuclear protein and the catalytic submit of glutamylcysteine ligase (GCLC) cytoplasmic protein in the nasal mucosa breath ing zone were determined.
RESULT:
We observed obvious behaviour changes related with allergic rhinitis in AR rats, together with decrease of SOD, GSH and GSH-PX and increase of MDA in the nasal mucosa breathing zone. Moreover, NRF2 nuclear protein expression and GCLC cytoplasmic expression were suppressed in the nasal mucosa. The changes above were alleviated in celastrol pretreatment group. The potential mechanism may be related to the upregulation of NRF2 nuclear protein expression and GCLC cytoplasmic expression after celastrol pretreatment.
CONCLUSION
Celastrol can significantly relieve the allergic symptoms in AR rats. The mechanism of this protective effects may relate to the upregulation of NRF2 nuclear protein expression and GCLC cytoplasmic expression in the nasal mucosa breathing zone.

China Medical Equipment 2017;14(4):106-109
Objective: To compare postoperative recovery situation between laparoscopic radical resection and conventional open surgery for patients with colorectal cancer and determine the optimal surgery scheme. Methods: 96 patients with colorectal cancer were divided into observation group (48 cases)and control group (48 cases) according to the random number table method. The patients of observation group were treated by using laparoscopic radical resection while the patients of control group were treated by conventional open surgery. A series of clinical manifestation, such as perioperative situation, abdominal pain, recovery situation, complication, pre-and post operative nutrition and quality of life, of these patients were compared between the two groups. Results: The operation time, average bleeding volume, postoperative exhaust time and hospitalization time of the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group (t=5.583, t=48.934, t=7.347, t=4.862; P<0.05). The incidence of abdominal complication of observation group (8.3%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (27.1%) (x2=5.79, P<0.05). The incidence of delayed healing of incision was 6.3% in observation group, which was significantly lower than that (20.8%) of control group (x2=4.36, P<0.05). For observation group or control group, the serum ALB, PA and LC of post-operation, respectively, was higher than those of pre-operation in 1 week after operation. And serum ALB, PA and LC of observation group, respectively, was significantly higher than that of control group (t=4.628, t=3.642, t=3.412; P<0.05). Compared with before operation, physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function and social functionthe quality of life of the two group were obviously improved, on the other hand, all of these aspects of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (t=-12.845, t=-7.634, t=0.5001, t=-4.096, t=-2.647, P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with the traditional open surgery for patients with colorectal cancer, the postoperative recovery of laparoscopic radical resection is better, more obvious and more effective for them.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 1999;0(01):-
Objective To investigate hepatitis B virus mutation rate after the universal immunization in China. Methods DNA sequence analysis of the “a” determinant was performed on sera from 72 viral carrier children after immunoprophylaxis selected through a sampling survery. Results Four mutants were detected, the mutation rate was 5.56%. One strain showed Gly-to-Arg mutation at the 145 codon of surface antigen. Animo acid substitutions at the amino acid 126 and 140 were noted in the other three children. The epidemiological HBV serotype shifted from previous adw infection to more recent adr was also observed. Conclusions These observations indicate that vaccination is probably the cause of mutation, whereas the mutation is low and it will certainly not be a reason for doubting that the vaccination is the method of main choice for preventing hepatitis B infection that still devastates the developing countries.
