1.Diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT colonoscopy in colorectal neoplasms
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(19):-
Objective To study the value of multi-slice spiral CT virtual colonoscopy(CTVC) in diagnosing colorectal neoplasms. Methods Forty-one patients with colorectal neoplasms proven by colonoscopy were further scanned successively by a 16-slice spiral CT with thin-section after intra-anal air insufflation. Then the data were 3D reconstructed simulating in virtual endoscopy and the results were compared with what seen with the conventional colonoscopy and the clinic pathological findings. Results A total of 21 polyps in 12 patients were discovered by colonoscopy, while 15 polyps in 10 patients by CTVC.In addition,29 cases of colorectal cancer were diagnosed by colonoscopy, and 27 cases of colorectal cancer were discovered by CTVC.Besides, two cases of liver metastasis and one case of lymph node metastasis in posterior peritoneal cavity were demonstrated in colonic cancer by CTVC.Conclusion CTVC is a non-invasive and valid technique for colonic occupying lesion, which can demonstrate not only the location and the size of colorectal neoplasms, but also the invasive depth and extracolonic metastasis.CTVC has an important value in clinical stage and choice of surgery for colorectal cancer.
2.Three-dimensional finite element stress analysis of the mandible first molar under pressure loading
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2015;(3):393-396
Objective:To establish three-dimensional(3D)finite element model of the mandible first molar, and to study the stress distribution.Methods:3D finite element model of the mandible first molar was constructed by CT image reconstruction technique. Then MIMICS software was used to separate the areas and finish 3D calculation.GEOMAGIC software was applied to modify and generate a NURBS surface in each patch. All components of the model were assembled under the ANSYS preprocessor.Specific material parame-ters were selected to simulate the various restoration and dentin status. The 3D finite element model was applied to analyze the stress distribution of the molar under 1 4 different pressure loading conditions. Results:The 3D finite element model of the mandible first molar was established, which was consistent to the situation observed in the clinical environment. The pressure loading n2,n8,n9,n1 0,n1 1 , n1 2,n1 3,n1 4 can be used to represent the bite pressure. Conclusion:It is a practical and accurate way to establish 3D finite element model by CT image reconstruction technique and reverse engineering software MIMICS and GEOMAGIC.
3.Prevention and treatment of in the elderly
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(11):1035-1038
Dyslipidemia is one of the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease in elderly, but clinical practices in the management of elderly dyslipidemia are still not satisfactory. The cornerstone of treatment for elderly dyslipidemia consists of therapeutic lifestyle change and statins.Recent guidelines emphasize aggressive low density lipoprotein-cholesterol control with statins. However, intensive statin therapy may increase the risk of myopathy and diabetes. Therefore,it is important to consider risk benefit ratio in individual patients. The additional benefit of statins in combination with other hypolipidemic drugs on cardiovascular risk still needs verifying by further investigation.
4.Influence of LTC_4 on the microcirculation of the gastric mucosa and its effect on acute gastric mucosal injury
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
The author explored the influence of exogenous LTC_4 (0.1 ng. 100g~(-1),iv) on the microcirculation of gastric mucosa and its effect on acute gestric mucosal injury. Male Wistar rats underwent a fast of 24 hours before the experiment and could drink water freely during this period. The results showed: 1. The caliber of the gastric mucosal superficial capillaries thinned and part of the capillaries disappeared. The caliber of collecting venule thinned also. After 10 minutes there were remarkable venous stasis and heamorrhage. 2. It was confirmed by the method of hydrogen clearence that the gastric mucosal flow reduced significantly. After 15 minutes of the injection, it decreased from original 1.230?0.093 to 0.521?0.079 ((?)+SE) ml, min~(-1). 100g~(-1) (P
5.Impact of obesity on hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy combined with esophagogastric devascularization
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2016;22(12):822-826
Objective To study the impact of obesity on the perioperative outcomes of hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy combined with esophagogastric devascularization (LSED).Methods The clinical data of patients who underwent hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy combined with esophagogastric devascularization between Jan.2013 and Nov.2015 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were classified as obese group A (BMI≥28 kg/m2) or non-obese group B (BMI < 28 kg/m2).Group A was further divided into two subgroups:group A1 massive splenomegaly (diameter > 20 cm) and A2 splenomegaly (diameter ≤20 cm).The conversion rates, operative complications, mortality, length of stay, operative time, and blood loss were analyzed and compared. Results One hundred and sixty patients who underwent hand-assisted LSED were included into this study.54 patients were in group A and 106 in group B.A significantly longer operative time was found in group A (291 min vs.261 min,P < 0.05).The conversion rates, blood loss, length of hospital stay, overall morbidity rates, and mortality rates were similar in the two groups (P >0.05).The mean operative time was significantly longer in group A1 (336 min vs.270 min;P <0.01)although blood loss, conversion rates, and overall morbidity rates were higher in group A1.However,there were no significant differences (P > 0.05).Conclusions Hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy combined with esophagogastric devascularization for obese patients was safe and feasible. However, for patients with massive splenomegaly,LSED should be performed with caution.
6.Mechanisms of FOXM1 in carcinogenesis and the progression of the anti-FOXM1 target drugs
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(4):274-277
Forkhead box M1 (FOXM1),one member of the Forkhead family, plays an important role in tumor development, invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis by regulating the expression of tumor related genes. Moreover,The specific mechanism of FOXM1 is not fully understood in the development of tumors.Currently, the study of anticancer drugs targeting FOXM1 is in the initial stage.Exploring the mechanism of FOXM1 in carcinogenesis and the development of drugs targeting FOXM1 and its downstream signaling pathways have broad clinical application prospects.

9. Arranging transient process used in iterative learning control system
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2009;21(1):42-45
Considering the same initial state error in each repetitive operation in the iterative learning system, a method of arranging the transient process is given. During the current iteration, the system will track the transient function firstly, and then the expected trajectory. After several iterations, the learning system output will trend to the arranged curve, which has avoided the effect of the initial error on the controller. Also the transient time can be changed as you need, which makes the designing simple and the operation easy. Then the detailed designing steps are given via the robot system. At last the simulation of the robot system is given, shows the validity of the method.
