The application of precision medicine in cancer treatment is becoming increasingly common as a result of the continuous advancement in basic research and physical techniques. The revolution of radiotherapy techniques, development of multimodal imaging technology, application of biological target dose carving and adaptive radiotherapy, availability of big data-based radiotherapy planning systems, and selection of chemotherapy regimen have all made the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma increasingly precise. The growing interaction between laboratory research and clinical practice not only underscores the importance of translational medicine, but also prompts the development of biological immunotherapy and screening of prognostic factors. As a result, these changes mark the beginning of a new era for the diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This review provides a summary from 61 articles on the current progress in translational study and clinical application of precision medicine in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of injecting insulin in family diabetes mellitus in Xiaofeng town community in Huzhou area and the problems of injection technique. Methods From February 2015 to December 2016, 94 patients with diabetes were injected with insulin in Xiaofeng town community in Huzhou area. From February 2015 to 3016, the fasting blood glucose(FPG), 2 h postprandial blood glucose 2hPG) and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), and to investigate the problems in the process of injecting insulin by questionnaire. Results After 3 months of injection, FPG, 2hPG and HbA1c were decreased in all patients(P<0.05).71 cases(75.53) were regularly rotated in the injection of insulin and 82 cases were alcoholic(81.9%), the use of 5 mm needle 86 cases(91.49%)[our hospital only 5 mm and 8 mm Needle, jurisdiction of the surrounding hospital needle is 6 mm.(76.20%), 12 cases(12.77%) of insulin needle, and 2 to 3 days of insulin needle(72.60%) were injected in the subcutaneous 10s(71.28%) after injection, 16 cases(17.2%) were replaced, 10 cases(48.94%) were replaced on the 10th day, and 11 cases(11.70%) were replaced when the insulin was replaced.9 cases(9.57%) were replaced after the pain. Conclusion Diabetic patients have definite therapeutic effect on insulin injection in family, but there are some defects in injection technique and injection hygiene. Therefore, health care workers need to strengthen their knowledge of injection of insulin injections in families.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and its effectiveness of vulvar intraepithelial neoplasm Ⅲ(VIN Ⅲ).Methods Clinical data, including age of the patients, mode of surgical operation, pathological features, results of post-operation follow-up, of 12 cases of VIN Ⅲ admitted to the Peking Union Medical College Hospital(PUMCH)during January 1984 to December2006 were retrospectively analyzed. Results Mean age of the 12 cases was 40.3(ranging from 23 to 56)years.All the patients had symptoms of vulvar itching, three with VUlVar ulcer and one with vulvar pain. There was single neoplasm focus in two cases and multiple focuses in 10 cases, five cases with neoplasm in other sites and five with human papilloma virus(HPV)infection. All the 12 patients received surgical operation, three with simple vulvectomy(one with some residue at perianal incisal edge)and other nine with lumpectomy(four with some residue at incisal edge).Eight cases were followed-up for 9.0 months in average(ranging 1~22 months)after surgical operation, including three with some residue at incisal edge.Relapse was found in two cases three and 11 months after operation, respectively, who received re-operation, including one with residue at incisal edge and one without residue. Conclusions It is necessary to attach more importance to biopsy for the cases of suspected VIN Ⅲ, as well as colposcopic diagnosis for those with vaginal or vulvar neoplasm and testing for HPV infection.Surgical operation, including simple vulvectomy and lumpectomy with or without adjunctive measures, are main treatment for patients of VIN Ⅲ and follow-up is also important for all those with VIN Ⅲ.

Objective To investigate the current status of moral distress in clinical nurses, and analyze its influential factors. Methods A total of 240 clinical nurses were recruited by stratified sampling method. They were investigated with general situation questionnaire and moral distress scale. Results The average score of moral distress was (2.66±0.41).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that department of work and qualification were influencing factors on moral distress of clinical nurses. Conclusions This study found that nurses' moral distress was above the middle level. Some targeted measures should be taken by nursing managers,in order to help decrease nurses' moral distress.

Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effect of adenovirus-mediated VEGF-siRNA on transplanted osteo- sarcoma in nude mice. Methods: VEGF-siRNA gene was cloned into the genome of replication-deficient adenovirus to construct Ad-VEGF-siRNA;the latter was then used to infect osteosarcoma MG63 cell line in vitro;and the expression of VEGF gene was detected by RT-PCR.Osteosarcoma transplantation model was established in nude mice;VEGF expression in tumor tissue was analyzed and the inhibitory effect on tumor growth and lung metastasis were also observed. Results: The recombinant adenovirus vector Ad-VEGF-siRNA was successfully constructed. In vivo and in vitro experiment both showed that Ad-VEGF-siRNA significantly downregulated VEGF expression in MG63 cells and transplanted tumor tissue. It was found that Ad-VEGF-siRNA significantly inhibited transplanted osteosarcoma growth(P
