As a newly identified T helper cell subset, Th9 plays an important role in anti-tumor immunity. Th9 can be differentiated from CD4+T cells that have been induced by TGF-beta and IL-4. In addition, other CD4+T helper cell subsets can be developed to Th9 cell in particular situations, thereby showing its plasticity. Results of animal experiments have indicated that Th9 inhibits tumor growth and plays a significant role in anti-tumor immunity by secreting related cytokines such as IL-9. A few cytokines and molecules can regu-late the differentiation and development of Th9 cells in different signaling pathways. This review will focus on the production, anti-tu-mor immunity, related mechanism, and signaling pathways of Th9 cells, thereby providing a new field of vision and idea for anti-tumor therapy in the future.

Objective To improve the understanding of severe anaphylactic reactions to infliximab retreatment. Methods Delayed hypersensitivity to infliximab in two patients with ankylosing spondylitis who had previously received infliximab and resumed after discontinuation over 4 years were reported and the related literatures were reviewed. Results Two patients ( 1 male, 1 female ) who were diagnosised with ankylosing spondylitis for more than 10 years, both individuals had received infliximab treatment during a clinical trial approximately 4-5 years prior to further therapy. On day 6 after subsequent infusion, one patient had pruritic skin rash covering her whole body, followed by flustered, dyspnea, hypotension and anaphylactic shock, she was successfully treated with epinephrine and glucocorticoid. Another patient experienced a skin rash and itching 9 days after reinfusion, he was successfully treated with antihistaminics.Conclusion A distant infliximab retreatment is associated with high rates of reinfusion reactions, including fever, urticaria, myalgia, arthralgia,even hypotension, dyspnea, laryngeal edema and anaphylactic shock.We recommend careful monitoring of those patients who receive infliximab retreatment, particularly after a lengthy interval.

Objective To understand the features of immunoglobulin G4-related diseases and to improve its diagnosis and treatment.Methods The clinical data of 20 cases discharged from our hospital were analyzed retrospectively.Results Twenty cases with IgG4 related diseases were reviewed retrospectively.IgG4-related diseasesis more prevalent in male than in female (14∶6),and the mean age was 58 years.Pancreas and bile ducts were the most commonly affected organs,2 and more than 2 organs were involved in 17 patients.All patients had significantly elevated serum immunoglobulin G4.Histopathological findings included diffuse tissue fibrosis with extensive lymphoplasmacytes infiltration.On immunohistochemical staining,the ratio of IgG4-positive plasma cells to IgG-positive plasma cells was higher than 40％.One patient deceased and one patient was left untreated,other patients responded well to the treatment.Conclusion There is no characteristic clinical symptoms for IgG4-related diseases,and serum immunoglobulin G4 is the essential diagnostic method in suspected cases.IgG4-related diseases can be well controlled with prompt use of glucocorticosteroid.

Objective To observe the effects of Qizhi Zhoufei Granules on IL-8, TNF-αand ET-1 in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) model rats, and to study its mechanism of preventing and treating COPD. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank group, model group, positive control group, Qizhi low-dose group, Qizhi medium-dose group and Qizhi high-dose group. The COPD model was established by smoking and infusing lipopolysaccharide (LPS). After 15 days, the rats were given the drugs by orally taking once a day. On the 43rd day, the change of IL-8, TNF-α and ET-1 content in serum and BALF were measured by radio-immunity assay. Results Compared with the blank group, the level of IL-8, TNF-α and ET-1 in serum and BALF were considerably raised in model group (P<0.05). Whereas compared with the model group, the level of TNF-αin serum of Qizhi high-dose group was remarkably lowered (P<0.05), the level of IL-8 in serum of Qizhi low-dose group and Qizhi high-dose group was remarkably lowered (P<0.05), the level of TNF-αin BALF of Qizhi medium-dose group was remarkably lowered (P<0.05), the level of IL-8 in BALF of Qizhi low-, medium- and high-dose group was remarkably lowered (P<0.05), and the level of ET-1 in BALF of Qizhi high-dose group and Qizhi medium-dose group was remarkably lowered (P<0.05). Conclusion Qizhi Zhoufei Granules have protective effect on lung tissue of COPD rats, and can adjust the content of IL-8, TNF-α and ET-1, which may be one of its mechanisms of intervening occurrence and development of COPD.

Objective To investigate the reliability and validity of Hospice care quality assessment scale. Methods Eight experts in the field of hospice revised the Scale after Chinese localization. The scale data were analyzed after collation of 181 families fulfill the scale. Results The total scale Cronbach′s a coefficient was 0.851. The first dimension′s coefficient was 0.796. The second dimension′s coefficient was 0.622 and the third dimension′s coefficient was 0.827. In factor analysis of the scale, after varimax rotation, the number of characteristic roots>1 was 10 and made up of 70.88%of the total variance. Conclusions The hospice care quality assessment scale after Chinese localization has good reliability and validity and could be a tool to evaluate the clinical quality of care for dying patients.

Objective To evaluate the effect of red yeast rice on chemokines of collagen-induced arthritis in rats. Methods Rat arthritis was induced by injecting bovine type Ⅱ collagen(BⅡC)to Wistar rats.The rats were randomly divided into six groups including the normal control group,the CIA control group which were treated with normal saline,ibuprofen group,large dose red yeast rice group,moderate dose of red yeast rice group and small dose of red yeast rice group.Mice were sacrificed after 48 days of immune injection and their venous blood were collected. The effect of cytokines and chemokinos on CIA was measured by ELISA.Results Red yeast rice significantly degraded the expression of TNF-α,IL-6 compared with the model groups,the difference was significantly different(P＜0.05).The degree of IL-8 decrease was more evident in the high dose of Red yeast rice group and moderate dose of Red yeast rice group than that of the model group(P＜0.05).Red yeast rice could significantly degrad the expression of MCP-1,R.ANTES and IP10 in serum of CIA rats(P＜0.05).Conclusion The mechanism of anti-inflammatory action of red yeast rice is related to the inhibition of inflammatory factors.

Objective To analyze the expression and predictive value of serum tumor markers spectrum and chemokine protein in lung cancer and predictive value.Methods One hundred and fifty patients with lung cancer were selected as the observation group and contemporaneous 150 individuals undergoing physical examination served the control group.The levels of ProGRP,CEA,SCC and Cyfra21-1 were measured by chemiluminescence microparticle immunoassay.The chemokine protein was determined by multiple immunofluorescent assay.Results The levels of CCL28,LIF,LIGHT and GRO in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05).The levels of CCL28,LIF,LIGHT and GRO in the observation group were higher than those in the control group.The levels of CCL28,NAP-2 and MDC in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion The regular detection of serum tumor markers spectrum and chemokine protein can predict the treatment prognosis and evaluate the clinical curative effect.

Base on the clinical characteristics of septic arthritis in a group of systemic lupus erythematosus patients,this study has found out that high systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index,leucopenia,high cumulative dose of glucocorticoid,methylprednisolone intravenous pulse therapy and joint cavity puncture were closely correlated with septic arthritis.Once septic arthritis is suspected,culture specimens should be collected and appropriate antibiotics are suggested immediately.Also,surgical drainage is a very useful approach.

Cervical stump cancer is rare in clinic, which leads to insufficient understanding of it by clinicians. Radiotherapy alone is often used in the early stage, but the treatment mode has gradually changed recently. However, there is still no uniform treatment standard for residual cancer, and the prognostic differences of residual cancer patients under the new treatment mode have not been reported in real time. In order to improve the management of cervical stump, this article reviewed its clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis.

Objective To investigate the recent effect of full arthroscopic dual-beam reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament(PCL)using tibial Inlay technique.Methods From March 2007 to September 2009,17 PCL injured patients underwent full arthroscopic dual-beam PCL reconstruction using Inlay technique,including 16 males and 1 female,with an average age of 25 years(range,19-54).Of all cases,Lysholm score was(53.4±2.1)points,International Knee Documentation Committee(IKDC)rated C in 7,D in 10,and posterior drawer test(+)in 17.We used self-designed tibia tunnel drill system to produce the deep-limited bone tunnel.Follow-up began at 12 months after operation.Evaluate Lysholm knee score,IKDC rating,and posterior drawer test to compare the knee stability with that of preoperative.Observe the location of the bone block and healing by checking knee X-ray and spiral CT scan.Results Seventeen patients were followed up between 12 to 28 months,with an average of 17.8 months.In the last follow-up study,Lysholm score(93.5±1.7)points compared with that of preoperative was statistically significant different(P=0.016).IKDC rating of A grade in 15 cases,B in 2,compared with that of preoperative was statistically significant different(P=0.021).Posterior drawer test were negative in 15 cases,slight positive in 2.The X-ray and spiral CT scan showed the location of the bone block were perfect and healed well.Conclusion We can accurately produce the deep-limited bone tunnel by the tibia tunnel drill system with minor trauma,and the recent clinical effects of PCL reconstruction were pretty good.
