1.Role of chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2010;09(6):405-407
Colorectal cancer is a common malignancy with an annual death of 0.5 millions of people worldwide. Currently the most accepted method of treating colorectal cancer is operation. With the popularization of the concept of multidisciplinary treatment, the research of chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer is furthered. More and more studies show that chinese medicine can prevent or reduce adverse effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and can also reduce postoperative tumor recurrence and metastasis, so as to prolong the life span and improve life quality. Although much has been achieved, many questions have yet to be solved. Clinical research with chinese medicine only is less, which cannot reflect the principle of treatment based on syndrome differentiation; the credibility and generalizability of chinese medicine were restricted because of the absent of standard effectiveness evaluation system; high quality, large sample, multi-center, randomized double-blind clinical researches need to be carried out.

ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to investigate the professional cognitive level and its influencing factors of fresh nursing students in Yunnan,in order to provide a basis for nursing education workers, improve the situation and put forward a series of interventions.MethodsA questionnaire survey was done among 623 fresh nursing students in 5 universities of Yunnan province, and the data were collected and analyzed using the descriptive analysis and chi-square test of software SPSS22.0.Results There were 313 peoples choose nursing for easy future employment in qualified 599 questionnaires. The professional cognitive level in Yunnan was not comprehensive compared with other provinces, and the ratio of the nursing mission and etc were lower than other provinces with statistical significance(P < 0.05). However, there were 50 people(40.98%)would like to choose other major of 122 people who come from other provinces, which was higher than that of Yunnan (34.98%). There were 324 students(63.11%)were proud of nursing,327 students(63.70%)think nursing have a good development prospect who received the freshmen entrance education, which were higher than 35.62% and 42.47% of who could not receive the freshmen entrance education, with a statistical significance(P < 0.05). ConclusionSchool should reinforce the new students entrance education and professional publicity to cultivate the professional emotion of nursing freshmen.

Objective To study the genotypes of human papillomavirus (HPV)infection in female anus and anal canal condylo-ma acuminata(CA)tissues and their clinical significance. Methods 23 kinds of HPV-DNA were extracted from the paraffin-embed-ded anus and anal canal tissue samples in 140 cases of female CA and detected by using PCR combined with the gene-chips tech-nique.Furthermore the related clinical pathological data of the patients were analyzed. Results Among 140 female anus and anal ca-nal CA tissue samples,103 cases were HPV positive and the total HPV infection rate was 73.57%(103/140).Among them,68 ca-ses were single type HPV infection, the positive detection rate was 48.57%(68/140)and 35 cases were multiple types HPV infec-tion,the positive detection rate was 25.00% (35/140).In single type HPV infection,34 cases were HPV11 and the positive detec-tion rate was 24.29% (34/140),HPV11 was the main infection type, followed by HPV 6 in 27 cases, its positive detection rate was 19.29%(27/140).In the multiple types HPV infection,13 cases were HPV 6 + 11,accounting for 37.14% (13/35 )of multiple types infection, followed by HPV11 +18 in 3 cases and HPV 6+11+16 in 3 cases, each accounting for 8.57%(3/35)of the multi-ple types infection. Conclusion HPV 6,11 ,6+11,11 +18 and 6+11+16 are the main infection genotypes in female anus and anal canal CA.PCR combined with the gene-chips technique is a diagnostic method more suitable for clinical development of HPV geno-typing detection, which has high sensitivity and good specificity and is especially suitable for the molecular epidemiology study of HPV infection.

Objective To study the human papilloma virus(HPV) infection in lesion tissues of patients with common anus and rectal disease .Methods Gene amplification combined with gene chip technology were employed to conduct genotyping test in lesion tissue of 566 patients with common anus and rectal disease .Results In lesion tissues of 566 patients with common anus and rectal disease ,the overall HPV infection rate was 32 .86% (186/566) .In male patients ,the overall HPV infection rate ,monopole infection rate and multiple infection rate were 32 .14% (117/364) ,23 .35% (85/364) and 8 .79% (32/364) ,respectively ,which showed no sta-tistically significant difference with female [34 .16% (69/202) ,24 .75% (50/202) and 9 .41% (19/202) ,respectively ] (P>0 .05) . HPV 18 ,16 ,33 ,31 types were the main types of common anus and rectal disease .Conclusion HPV genotyping test of anus and rectum tissues is important for molecular epidemiological studies of HPV infection in anus and rectum .

OBJECTIVETo explore the feasibility of three-cavity clearance (TCC) in the treatment of perianal abscess.
METHODSA retrospective study of patients with perianal abscess in our center from July 2013 to March 2015 were carried out. Clinical data of 25 patients undergoing TCC (TCC group) were analyzed. At the same time, based on matched gender, age and location of abscess, 25 patients undergoing incision and drainage (incision group) and 25 undergoing cutting seton (seton group) were enrolled. Postoperative pain visual analogue scale (VAS) score (the first defecation,1 week later), rate of fistula formation, fecal incontinence(Wexner score) and wound healing were compared among groups.
RESULTSOne week after operation, VAS score in seton group was 6.5±1.3, which was significantly higher than 1.3±0.5 in TCC group and 1.2±0.4 in incision group(P<0.01), while there were no significant differences of VAS among groups at the first defecation(P>0.05). Time of wound healing was (45.8±19.9), (49.2±23.1) and (53.5±24.1) days in TCC, incision and seton group respectively, without significant difference(P>0.05). Rate of fistula formation was 48.0% (12/25) in incision group, which was significantly higher than 12.0% (3/25) in TCC group and 12.0%(3/25) in seton group (all P<0.01). There was no patient with faecal incontinence in TCC group and incision group, while 2 patients with fecal incontinence were found in seton group.
CONCLUSIONThree-cavity clearance is feasible in treatment of perianal abscess, and can decrease the rate of fistula formation, ameliorate postoperative pain and protect anal function.
