2.Treatment of spinal giant cell tumor of bone
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(07):-
Spinal giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB) is a kind of primary benign bone tumors in the spine. It is rich in blood supply, aggressive, and easily recurring and lung metastasizing. So the benign GCTBs of the spine remains a challenge to treat. This article reviews the therapeutic methods in spinal GCTBs,including surgery, radiation therapy, arterial embolization. The treatment for the tumor with lung metastasis is also covered in this review. It is established that En bloc resection with wide margins is the most effective method to spinal GCTBs. To eliminate the residual tumor cells, adjuvant radiation should be done when complete resection is not available. Arterial embolization can be used to treat the huge sacral GCTBs.For those with lung metatasis, they can be controlled by lobectomy and /or chemotherapy.
3.A evaluation research for the optimization and utilization of medical equipment in pediatric hospital
China Medical Equipment 2017;14(2):110-111,112
Objective:To provide more details and guide the management and usage as well as purchasing for medical equipment, so as to realize the optimization and utilization of the medical resources and impel Precision Medicine Initiative. Methods:The cost-effective analysis and the rate of return analysis of two large-scale precision equipments (MRI and Fundus camera usage) during January 2015 and June 2016 were performed. Besides, the equipment cost was divides into several more detailed projects in the research. Results: The rate of return of MRI in the first half year of 2016 was 8.5%, which was obviously higher than the one of 2015 which was 4.1%; the rate of return of Fundus camera usage in the first half year of 2016 was 25.9%, which was also obviously higher than the one of 2015 that was 15.0%. In the analysis, the depreciation of equipment was the main cost. Conclusion: It was critical and necessary to strengthen the standardized operation and routine maintenance in operation, in order to improve their safety usage rate.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(1):59-66
The present study was aimed at the optimal solution of the main muscular force distribution in the lower extremity during standing balance of human. The movement musculoskeletal system of lower extremity was simplified to a physical model with 3 joints and 9 muscles. Then on the basis of this model, an optimum mathematical model was built up to solve the problem of redundant muscle forces. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to calculate the single objective and multi-objective problem respectively. The numerical results indicated that the multi-objective optimization could be more reasonable to obtain the distribution and variation of the 9 muscular forces. Finally, the coordination of each muscle group during maintaining standing balance under the passive movement was qualitatively analyzed using the simulation results obtained.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(24):-
Objective To investigate the protective effect of pentoxifylline (PTX) on bile duct in grafts against ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury and its potential mechanisms in the animal model of OLTx in miniature swines. Methods After PTX was added to the preservation solution and administrated through hepatic artery, changes of blood flow, activity of ATPase, apoptosis of epithelial cells, and pathomorphology of the bile duct were investigated in the animal model of OLTx in miniature swines. The animals were divided into IR, IR+NS, and IR + PTX groups. Results The results showed that the incidence of biliary necrosis was significantly lower in IR+PTX group than that in IR and IR +NS groups. When compared with those in IR and IR +NS groups, GGT and ALP levels, numbers of apoptosis cells, and scores of pathomorphology were significantly decreased in IR+PTX group, while blood flow, activity of Na +-K +ATPase, Ca 2+ -ATPase of bile duct in grafts were significantly elevated. Conclusion These results suggest that PTX has multiple antagonistic effects against IR injuries of the bile duct. The effects of PTX on bile duct of grafts against IR injuries are possibly correlated with the improvement of the microcirculation, preservation of the ATPase activity of the bile duct, and suppression of the apoptosis of the bile duct cells.
10.A new sight into mechanism of hypertriglyceridemia induced by hypothyroidism

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(10):856-858
Hypertriglyceridemia is one of the clinical manifestations of hypothyroidism.Besides regulating thyroid hormone axis, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) also has the effect on up-regulated expression of inflammatory cytokines.Synthesis of inflammatory factors can promote the expression of apolipoprotein B48 (ApoB48) in intestinal mucosal epithelial cells, suggesting that TSH may up-regulate the expression of ApoB48 by inducing inflammation; while theoratically,low-level of thyroid hormones can inhibit the synthesis of ApoB48.At the same time, since ApoB48 is the important cause of hypertriglyceridemia, there is a contradiction that it is difficult to explain the clinical phenomenon of hypertriglyceridemia induced by hypothyroidism. Therefore, hypothyroidism may affect the expression of ApoB48 by high level of TSH and low level of thyroid hormones, leading to hypertriglyceridemia.
