7.Effects of Shenqi Bufeitang on Expessions of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in Airway Remodeling of COPD Rat Model with Lung-Qi Deficiency Syndrome

Objective To observe the effects of Shenqi Bufeitang on expessions of metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) in the airway remodeling of COPD rat model with lung-Qi deficiency syndrome. Methods Quantitative stimulation with tobacco,SO2 and papin was made to establish COPD rat model with lung-Qi deficiency syndrome. Sixty male rats were randomly divided into normal group (N),model group (M),low dose treatment group (LT),medium dose treatment group (MT),high dose treatment group (HT) and glucocorticoid treatment group (GCT). The thicknesses of the airway wall and smooth muscle layer of the small airway were measured by means of image analyzer. The protein expressions of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were examined by immunohistochemical analysis. Results The protein expressions of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in brouch us and lung and the thinknesses of the airway wall and smooth muscle layer in M group were significanthly higher than those in N group (P
8.Effect of thin foam dressings combined with ice compress on postoperative facial swelling

Objective To investigate the preventive effect of thin foam dressings(Allevyn Thin)combined with ice compress on facial plastic postoperative swelling and to summarize the nursing key points.Methods Sixty patients after facial plastic surgeries in our department were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 cases in each group.In the control group,ice packs wrapped with sterile gauze were placed on the patients’ wound dressings postoperatively and fixed properly for 30 to 40 minutes with an interval of 30 minutes,6 to 10 times a day for 72 hours postoperatively.In the observation group,thin foam dressing was stick to the wounds,followed by ice compress as in the control group.The facial swelling degrees of both groups were compared on day 3 and day 7 postoperatively.Result The swelling degree in the observation group was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Thin foam dressings combined with ice compress can effectively improve the postoperative early swelling of patients receiving facial plastic surgery and therefore it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
9.Influences of Yueanxin injection (悦安欣注射液) on blood rheology in patients with acute cerebral infarction

Objective:To observe the curative effects and the influences of Yueanxin injection (YAXI, 悦安欣注射液) on acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and on blood rheology separately. Methods:Sixtytwo cases with ACI were randomly divided into treated group ( n=31) which was treated with YAXI and control group (n=31) which treated with tetrameth ylp yrazine injection (川芎嗪注射液) as control. Once a day for 30 days as a therape utic course to both groups.The curative effects and the changes in blood rheology parameter s were observed.Results:The marked effective rate (74.2%) and total effective rate (96.8%) in treated g roup were significantly superior to those (38.7% and 67.7% respectively) in cont rol group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The improvements of blood rheology param eters in tr eated group were significantly better than those in control group (P<0.0 5 or P<0.01).Conclusions:The curative effects of YAXI on ACI are sufficient.
10.Research on Precise Location Algorithm for QRS in ECG

Objective To research the precise location algorithm of onset and end of one wave for QRS in ECG. Methods During monitoring the ambulatory electrocardiograph (AECG),it was necessary to design new automatic analysis algorithms. The windows formed by filtering and integrating process could be considered as the fiducially mark. From the window,the apex of Q wave and S wave could be recognized. Results Introducing an auxiliary line from the apex,we could judge the boundary of the Q and S wave with the distance from ECG curve to the line. Conclusion Many cases studies inelicate that the algorithm is of low level locating error,about one sample point,and the accuracy of judgement of S wave boundary is raised obviously compared with the same kind of software in the world.
