Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(10):-
The determination of fraxetin A and fraxetin B in Cortex Fraxini have been carried out by HPLC on the stationary phase:octodecyl-silicohydride bonded silica gel column. The mobile phase was methanol-water(24:76). The detection wavelength was at 348nm. There was a good linear relationship in a concentration range of 16?g/ml~176?g/ml. The correlation coefficients were 0. 9995 and 0. 9994,respectively. The recovery of the added sample were 99. 1 ?1. 5% (n=5) for fraxetin A and 99.8?2. 5%(n=5) for fraxetin B. This method showed 0. 8% of within-day accuracy and 6. 2% of between-day accuracy, involving the advantages of simplicity, quickness and accuracy.

Clinical Medicine of China 2015;(3):261-263
Objective To compare the clinical application of endoscope system and dimensional disc hole mirror, and its advantages of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic discectomy TESSY technology. Methods Two hundred and eighty patients with lumbar disc herniation randomly divided into foraminal mirror group and endoscopic group(140 cases for each groups). Patients in foraminal mirror group were given TESSY removal of nucleus pulposus through lateral approach road, while in endoscopic group were given posterior approach discectomy. The operation time, bleeding volume, postoperative time, incision length, waist and leg waist pain and functional recovery were recorded. Results The operation incision length in foraminal mirror group was(0. 8 ± 0. 1)mm,significantly shorter in the endoscopic group((1. 7 ± 0. 2)mm),the amount of bleeding in foraminal mirror group was( 9. 8 ± 4. 3 )ml,significantly less than the endoscopic group(( 78. 6 ± 18. 8)ml). The above data were statistically significant difference( t =21. 753,19. 280;P ﹤0. 01 ). The getting out of bed time after operation was(0. 3 ± 0. 1)d,significantly earlier than that in the endoscopic group ((3. 5 ± 0. 8)d;t=21. 451;P﹤0. 01). VAS scores of patients in two group at postoperative were(7. 4 ± 1. 8) and(7. 3 ± 1. 6),significantly decreased than that of preoperative((2. 7 ± 1. 7)and(2. 5 ± 1. 6);t=10. 259, 11. 465;P﹤0. 01),But there were no significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment ( P﹥ 0. 05 ). After treatment, waist function recovery in the two groups were 97. 1%( 136/140 ),95. 7%(134/140),and the difference was significant(χ2 =0. 415,P﹥0. 05). Conclusion Foraminal mirror TESSY technique in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with microendoscopy discectomy with small incision is proved a good approach with less bleeding, postoperative early rehabilitation.

Objective To observe the effects of intra-articular injection of sinomenine on morphology of synovium and cartilage as well as contents of MMP-13 and cartilage oligomeric matrix protein(COMP) in serum and synovial fluid of rabbit knee osteoarthritis model. Methods A total of 38 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups: control group, model group, hyaluronate group and sinomenine group. Model group, hyaluronate group and sinomenine group established knee osteoarthritis model by intra-articular injection of papain enzyme, and were treated with saline, sodium hyaluronate and sinomenine respectively except for control group. 5 weeks after treatment, all rabbits were sacrificed for HE staining and histological grading on cartilago articularis and synovium, and ELISA method was used to detect the contents of MMP-13 and COMP in rabbit serum and synovial fluid. Results Mankin's scores of articular cartilage and histological scores of synovium in model group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.01), and were markedly lower in sinomenine group than those of model group (P<0.01); the contents of MMP-13 and COMP in serum and synovial fluid of model group were significantly raised compared with control group (P<0.01), and were reduced obviously in sinomenine group compared with model group (P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Intra-articular injection of sinomenine can reduce the levels of MMP-13 and COMP in serum and synovial fluid of rabbit knee osteoarthritis model, and improve synovial inflammation, as well as delay the degradation of articular cartilage.

Gold nanostructures with unique optical and photo-thermal properties based on their size and shape have wide applica-tion potential in tumor diagnosis, imaging, photo-thermal therapy, and drug delivery because of surface plasmon resonance. The optical properties of gold nanomaterials allow its use for dark field imaging, optical coherence tomography, and two-photon imaging. Gold nanomaterials can also be used as carriers for a variety of fluorescent molecules and drugs, achieving multifunctional imaging, chemo-therapy, photodynamic therapy, and so on. Photon-electron and electron-electron interactions of gold nanomaterials, which are excited by near-infrared laser, will generate heat that can be used for tumor photothermal therapy. This phenomenon promotes drug release, and photoacoustic imaging. The combined application of hyperthermia and chemotherapy based on gold nanoparticles is effective in opti-mizing the efficacy of cancer treatments. Therefore, gold nanoparticles can integrate multiple functions into one single system and real-ize the integration of tumor diagnosis and therapy, which provide new insights for the on-demand therapy and personalized medicine de-velopment. This study reviews the recent progress of several gold nanoparticles in the integrated applications for tumor theranostics, in-cluding gold nanoshells, gold nanorods, hollow gold nanospheres, gold nanocages, and gold nanostars. The major strategies of gold nanomaterials in biomedical applications are also discussed.

Summarizing the literature of syndrome differentiation and treatment of alcoholic liver disease (ALD) with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in recent five years,to investigate the realization and the laws of prescribing in this disease from the perspective of selecting drugs and forming formulas of TCM. This article summarized the characteristics of formula selection in treating ALD,and summed up the treatment principle of ALD and the realization of main syndrome by the principle of 'learning syndrome from formula','correspondence of syndrome with for mula'. The results showed that promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, tonifying consumption, promoting diuresis and percolating dampness were the main principle of prevention and treatment of ALD in recent years, and blood stasis,qi asthenia and phlegmatic hygrosis were the major pathogenesis of ALD. According to studying the literature of TCM,it was can be seen that the present treatment of ALD was still in the exploratory stage of clinical observation,it lacked multi-center,randomized and control prospective study of large sample, and judgment of curative effect were disunity, and objective evaluation criteria was lacked. These questions were worth further exploration.

Objective To evaluate and analyze the effects between with modified Forsus appliance and activator in the treatment of class Ⅱ madibular retrusion. Methods 70 children with class Ⅱ malocclusion and mandibular retrusion were selected and divided into two groups:35 patients treated with this modified Forsus appliance (group A) and other 35 treated with activator (group B).Cephalometric radiographs were taken and analyzed at the pre-treatment time (T0) and the post-treatment time (T1) with the Pancherz analysis. Results The course of treatment was obviously different:the course of group A was (21.4±2.0) months, and group B was (27.3±2.5) months; the treatment course of group A was shorter than that of group B.After treatment, profiles of the two groups were obviously improved. The trends were similar in overjet and the molar relationship,SNB and ANB,with significant differences. But there was no significant difference between the results of the two groups. The change of occlusal plane was notably in group B.Conclusions Both the modified Forsus appliance and activator appliance combined with straight wire appliance can effectively stimulate the mandibular growth, balance the jaw relationship, and correct the class Ⅱ mandibular retrusion. But the modified Forsus appliance can effectively treat the class Ⅱ patients with the shorter course. And the same time,it can take effect continually without depending on the coordination of the patients.
