OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization status and the developmental trend of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) in our city.METHODS:NSAIDs used in two hospitals in Anhui Tongling city during 2004～2006 were analyzed statistically in respect of drug varieties,DDDs and consumption sum.RESULTS:The DDDs of NSAIDs increased,up 7.07% year on year. The consumption of NSAIDs increased by 4.15% in 2005,but decreased by 4.94% in 2006.New type NSAIDs had a great increase in consumption sum.CONCLUSION:The utilization structure of NSAIDs in our city is expected to remain stable in the coming several years,but great attention should be paid to the ADR of NSAIDs.
